This is the second time in my life dealing with a bail bond agency, and it was by far better than the first time.My first experience 15 years ago was to get a relative out of jail. She was arrested for the most insane, ludicrous reason ever. Anyway I had to put up enough collateral to cover the entire bond. The bondman missed the Friday bond hearing, so she had to spend the 3-day holiday weekend in jail. After the case against her was dropped, the bondsman took 6 months to return my collateral.Recently my wife’s nephew was arrested in Houston and his single mom has no means of paying anything. I agreed to help. I live out of state so I just randomly started calling bail bond companies in Houston. On about the third try, OK Bail Bonds answered. The lady’s name was Tiffany. Oh my goodness! What a change of experience from 15 years go.Not only did it cost me SO MUCH LESS than I had to pay in bond fees 15 years ago, Tiffany required no collateral. I asked her if I need to come to Houston to sign papers and take care of the bond at the courthouse. She assured me that she would handle it. I took care of the payment signed remotely and Tiffany handled everything else. She literally took care of everything. The next morning the wifes nephew was out of Jail.Not too many people have to deal with bonding someone out of jail, especially more than once. But if this is your first time and you think all bail bond companies are the same, I assure you they are not. Far from it!Tiffany at OK Bail Bonds was kind, efficient, and most of all did everything she said she was going to do. I would give her 6 stars but they only go to five.
