I love Ortega Automobile Services, I have brought my vehicle for the past 2 years & they’re very professional, have great customer service, good prices & look at my vehicle in detail.

Called to see about getting my a/c fixed when I realized itd gone out. I was told Id have to leave the car overnight, so thats what I did. They called me at 5:30pm to let me know the issue and the price. The next day at 3pm my car was ready for pickup!Overall, great work and completed in a timely manner.The only recommendation I have is to advise people of the $100 diagnostic fee before they come in. I spoke to someone over the phone twice and then to the girl at the front desk. But it wasnt until I had filled out the paperwork, given them my keys, and was walking away that they stopped me and informed me of the fee to check my a/c. Their website makes no mention of a fee nor do any comments I read.I came here because of the reviews and I would come again.

Horrible experience! They are liars! Did not fix my problem and refused to refund my money, even after showing them my car was not fixed. They gave excuses and rebuttals, that did not match the agreed upon job. Do NOT use this auto shop. I went to a more experienced mechanic (30+ yrs) afterwards, that completely contradicted their entire diagnosis. And informed me that Ortega’s work had nothing to do with my car’s issue. THIEFS, even worse took my money in the middle of a pandemic and expressed no wrongdoing on their behalf! Extremely disappointed. Mind you this is my first and only google review ever, goes to show my extreme disappointment.

These guys are a class act. Friendly, always answer the phone and deliver what they say they will. Were new to the area but they have taken care of us very well both times weve been in. Weve brought both of our cars here and they performed the repairs quickly and for reasonable prices. They referred us to Ralphs Wreckers who were friendly and professional as well.

We brought in our Toyota Camry 06 for an alignment but they found a bigger issue and offered us a fantastic deal on the work that needed doing. When wed had similar work done in the past, it had cost us 3x what we paid here. Its now been about two weeks since we had the work done and the car is driving flawlessly.We dropped the car off the night before and it was ready by the end of the next workday. I would highly recommend them for both the value and the quality of the work done. They even polished our headlights.The customer service is excellent and theyre honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. Because of the extra labor expense of dividing the work, we opted to have it all done in one go but we definitely appreciated that that option was offered to us because there are times when weve been more cash-strapped than we were when we brought our car in.

Holy moly, these guys are amazing! Went to get my inspection done just a few minutes ago and it only cost $25. On top of that, I brought some work with me that I needed to get done, but I didn’t even have time to get started because they were so fast! It probably took them 15 minutes, if that. I’ll definitely be going back here if I ever need anything done for my car. Everybody was extremely friendly and even waved bye to me as I left. An all over great experience. Who knew that getting your inspection could actually brighten your day?!

Highly recommend this shop! I used to work close by their shop, but still use them even though many are closer to my new job. They exhibit extraordinary courtesy and professionalism. I will continue to use them as long as I am in the Houston area.
