Went in with AC problems. Called early that morning, they were able to inspect it. I left an hour later with cold air. The mechanics were personable and I didnt feel taken advantage of. They were honest about the problem and gave me (cheaper) alternative solutions. I will be making them my mechanic. I wish I would have found them a few years ago.

The first time my 2009 vehicle had a big job, they had no problem giving me an itemized statement of what the work needed to be done which included parts, labor, and tax. i showed my uncle whom knows everything about cars and when he saw the estimate -also is a master mechanic & is a general manager for Auto Zone - he gave me a solid thumbs up! Never looked back. Dennis & Robert are honorable men with an honorable crew, and I am a customer for life no matter where I live.

This place was great, not the cheapest diagnostic, but reasonable. I was upset that the first time I went to pick up my car they were unable to tell me what was wrong with it. I went back a couple days later and a different person was super helpful and nice. Customer service is hit or miss.

Complete rip off told us it would be $450 worth of damage on a mini van and then when we went to pick it up they charged me $800 just to paint and fix up a bumper! Scam! I believe there reviews are fake! Do NOT GO HERE

Absolutely class acts! This is the kind of mechanic you used to hear about. Robert and Dennis are fast, honest, reasonable and most importantly really good people.My car broke down after hours and on a fluke, I decided to call the shop. Dennis answered and I explained that I was waiting on a tow truck from my insurance company. He said no problem Ill wit for you. Well, The tow truck ended up taking nearly 3 hours from the time I called.Dennis was still there waiting for me and even gave me a ride home.The next morning Robert had a very reasonable estimate ready for me and told me my car would be ready that afternoon!You just cant ask for a better repair shop. I have since moved to Katy and will continue to make the trip here to have my cars serviced by them.ΘΑΥΜΑ! Bravo!

Im so glad a family friend told us about this place. Ive tried a few mechanics since moving to Houston, but none come close to Dennis Automotive. The service is excellent and very well priced. I can honestly say that Ive never had a complaint, and Ive been using them for years now. Its a very friendly place with a great atmosphere where they treat you more like an old friend than a customer.

Took my car to get fixed today. They took it in almost immediately, worked quick and effectively. Great price and even did a little extra work for free. I was taking my car to another shop but Ill take it here from now on. Staff is great and friendly to speak with. They can do everything on import and domestic cars.

Great little place in the Galleria area to get an oil change or maintenance on your car at a reasonable price. If youre driving on Westheimer, youll miss it if you arent paying attention. Its right next to Bubbles car wash.

If you are required to get an intoxalock through a service center I would definitely recommend any of the other service centers but this one. Mine had a technical malfunction and was told to take it to my service center-Dennis Automotive and a replacement would arrive in two days. When I called Dennis they said well bring it in two days, we dont have space here? I get its a small shop but thats no way to treat a customer. When I explained I had no choice but to tow it there or it might get towed for being overnight on private property was then told fine but we will charge you per day, which I was okay with. Then when I had it towed they got upset and said why didnt you call that you were on the way, now I have to move alot of cars. I did call the day prior and was told it was fine to tow and was never told to call beforehand. Then when the car gets there, an elderly gentlemen with glasses which I assume was Dennis tells ME to call the 1-800 number if you have problem. Which I advised him I already did and they sent over a service order about the replacement via email and then he says well I havent checked the email, which any business should check on the regular if not daily. Then finally when the part does get there ( I only found out through tracking UPS) I called and ask can I pick up my car and then they say its not working. When asked well did they call the company they replied not yet, so I decide to do so. The company was very apologetic and nice and called Dennis on three-way to explain maybe there was more that could be done with that particular replacement. When Dennis answered he said I have no clue what youre talking about, call back in two hours to speak to Robert ( keep in mind it was 3pm and the close at 4pm) or call Monday. The intoxalock lady representative stated she had never been spoken so rudely and now understood my frustrations. They might be more customer friendly to people with regular auto repair but definitely not with people who need a simple calibration or replacement done, so like previously stated if you have your choosing of a service center I would say a further one may be worth the drive than one with poor customer service and negligence.
