Sammys is my new favorite auto shop after bringing in my vehicle for a windshield replacement and some other minor body fixes. I initially came in for a quote, and given the good price I went ahead and scheduled the work in two different days given the need for some parts to be procured. To my surprise, they were able to get the parts sooner than expected and all of the work was done in one day. Communication was clear from the beginning, and everyone was a pleasure to work with.

Took a vehicle in for a price quote. Never had a rep, call me back for the estimate and when I heard anything from anyone is when I called to check the status. Thought I could get a quote pretty quick. I guess my money is no good in their eyes.

Sammy got my truck in for brake repair early in the morning and it was not only ready by his promised end of the same day, but he also used higher-quality, higher-rated parts than the dealership offered and he also checked and adjusted the rear brakes for significantly less than I was quoted by the dealership. He was extremely professional and honest. He is my trucks new pediatrician :)I am a mobile equine veterinarian, so being without a working vehicle is a huge issue. He was able to do the repairs in record time at a higher quality with a lower price. You cant beat that!

Went there for state inspection they told me its going to take 15 minutes well after waiting over 30 minutes they failed my car because the headlights were foggy(not clean) and some other cosmetics issues which any decent shop or human will tell you to fix before they take your car and run the inspection and fail you.They asked for about 150$ to fix it.

Ive recently serviced my Volvo SUV and Toyota Highlander with Sammys Auto Care. Its a no nonsense, easy-in easy-out service shop. Unlike other shops, you do not walk into a sales pitch every time you stop in. Rather, they just get the job done that you came for. Also, a huge bonus is that the family is made up of good people with a love of getting to know and taking care of their customers. If you stop in for a while, its hard to miss that aspect of their business. They certainly have loyal and longtime Memorial customers.

I took my mothers old 2000 Nissan Quest to Sammys after her car had been failing for several months. The employees at Sammys were all very knowledgeable and very friendly.When I walked in, they were extremely busy. That didnt stop them from giving me great service. After briefly describing the issue to Sammy, I left it in his care and he told me hed take care of it and call me back with what needed to be done.What I loved about this specific shop was they did not try to sell me more than what the car needed. I will continue to take my future cars there for repair and even for regular maintenance.Once again, thank you Sammy. It has been impossible for me to be able to find a mechanic that is so knowlegable and trustworthy at the same time.

In all three cases, the rest of your life is generally on-hold and resuming it is dependent upon how quickly you can “get-in and get-out”.When it comes to auto service in particular, the annals are full of stories about those repairs taking much longer and costing much more than what was originally estimated. Sammy and his team are definitely the exception to this rule.I recently took my 2008 Toyota 4Runner (145,000 miles) to Sammy’s Auto Care and Collision Center to have them diagnose what I thought was some sort of transmission failure and did so expecting that it was likely time to simply get rid of it.Sammy’s team determined that the service station I used (past tense) periodically for service had been using the wrong oil and that my timing chain needed adjustment.After he was done with the repairs, I told him that I was still considering selling it or trading it in. Sammy felt that so strongly that my truck had another 100K (or more) miles of life left, he asked that if I did decide to sell it, would I please give him the final opportunity to buy it from me.If that isn’t standing behind your work, I have absolutely no idea what is. My service was so transparent and on-time, I gave him an opportunity to fix a few “age spots” on my truck...and it’s not only running like new, it looks about 5 years younger now.Many sincere thanks to Sammy and his team!

Sammys never got a around to diagnosing or even looking at my car after 10 days. The shop is unprofessional and when they dont want your business or are too busy to address your car in a timely manner they sit on it and delay rather than sharing in advance their delays or other priorities.I dropped my GMC Suburban off for Sammys for an engine diagnostic on a Saturday 3/19/2016, understanding that the would not have an opportunity to look at it until the following week. When the following Thursday arrived I called the shop and was told We will look at it today, and get back to you. The day passed and I called back on Friday afternoon and was again told Oh yes, we will look at it.On the following Tuesday I had still not been contacted and went and picked up my vehicle. Nothing had been examined or diagnosed, it was left in a spot on the lot unexamined.In hind sight I should have read the context clues. The shop has easily a dozen cars clogging the parking lot in various states of dis-assembly. The garages have cars in them but no mechanics can be seen working on them. As an added bonus the manager and a mechanic where having a shouting level argument immediately outside the office door for customers to watch.Not very professional. Very disappointing, and very much NOT recommended. One star review only because zero stars is not an option.

I called ahead to ensure that I didnt need an appointment to get an estimate done today I drove to the location and with an hour left of business hours I was told to come back tomorrow I cant give you the estimate as I need to remove the bumper. Thats the whole reason I called ahead so I could avoid eating my time. I will not be returning to get an estimate here

It appears you either love him, or hes told you things that are not true after a verbal quote. Get everything in writing. I wish I had. Then he will call you names and blame you for his work not being correct, on time, etc.....

This Mechanic charged me $220 for changing a battery.He also claimed that i needed a radiator, air filter, ...and what notAsk for how much you will be charged before you get the service or just AVOID HIM
