I relocated from Pensacola to Hoover 2 yrs ago, and I PK nails have been My new nail Salon to go to. I just love it the owners kindness, and entire demeanor. They also provide you with a nice wine to take the edge off while getting a pedicure. I love it soooooo much, as a matter of fact Ill be there today to get pampered.

Full set/French tipThe nail tech was rude. And she is heavy handed to the right so 4 of my nails were thin on one side and when I tried to get her to fix it, she tried to just file it down. She did not want to add more acrylic, but I finally got her too. She had someone else apply the top coat and it’s bumpy towards the ends... horrible service.Plus she did the gel without asking me so I had to pay extra and cut me with the electric file... horrible, horrible experience... I did not tip..

Horrible!!! I walked in and they didn’t acknowledge me AT ALL!! A lady walked in after me and they took her right away!! Take you money elsewhere!! Also, my gel manicure was peeling the same week!!!

First off they’ve changed their name to “ESSENTIAL NAIL SPA”. But they overcharged me for a fill in. 65! It was $35 but not worth 20. I kept asking her the price she’s running my card for & she said nothing & when she handed me the receipt I said something about the price & she waived her hands like she was dismissing me. I didn’t cause a scene I just said no worries I’ll br disputing it when it posts. Like what makes you think that’s okay? Highly unprofessional & I should have read the reviews but I couldn’t find the name on google but again that’s because on google it shows PK Nails & I’m the door it says Essential Nail Spa. My nails are ugly on top of that lol. I didn’t even argue, I just left. Disputing it on my cc as soon as it posts. They’re empty for a reason. They’re not good & highly unprofessional. I don’t normally do reviews but I had to warn others to avoid this place!

I just got my nail done on 11/08/2020. Today is 11/10/2020 and 5 nail have falling off that’s horrible and it only been two days I want to give them zero stars

Worst experience ever!!! They try to over talk you so you won’t express your concerns. She cut my skin trying to cut down my nails. Yes I BLEED!!! She dropped some liquid stuff on my finger because they didn’t have a first aid kit. My other issue was with polish being all over the side of my nail bed and around my cuticles. I asked her (Xe Tran) several Times was she going to clean it up she nodded yes as if she understood. After a final wash she added a top coat and it looked like my 5 year old daughter painted my nails. Then she said when I got home I could wash my hands and it would come off. Never again!!! Use caution!!!!

The WORST nail Salon in Hoover Alabama. I got a FULL SET done on September 21st but September 28th they were popping off. The whole nail. When i tried to go back they told me that it was after 3 days and I had to pay for the repair. I left, but best believe i will be calling the Cosmetology board in the morning. Oh FYI they changed the name to essential nail and spa.

Worst experience ever! Different people charge different prices everytime and they try to talk over you wen u ask questions. They are very rude and have horrible customer service. I walked in there and two technicians were doing each other’s pedicures instead of tending to customers. Not recommended at alll!

Very poor work. They shouldnt even show the little pallet asking what shape you want because theyre never a match to what you ask for. They also seem to try to pressure you into getting a mani and pdi when youre there even if you tell them multple times what you want. I tried giving them a second and thrid chance but ill never go back to that salon
