Ive been to nail salons in McCalla, Bessemer, and Hoover. Tom and Lisa are the best. My nails always look great, and I feel relaxed thanks to the atmosphere their salon provides. Love this salon!

Ive been coming to Nail Line for over 20 years and Tom and Lisa have always been friendly and helpful. The salon is always clean and neat, no strong product smells. They are always willing to correct any issues and they are very professional. Tom is super with pink and white and also Dip and Dap. His pedicures are excellent. I have gone to other salons where they charge for every item but Tom is fair and will not nickel and dime you to death

Jon & Lisa run a clean Nail salon. They are very friendly work hard professional people. I’ve been coming to Nail Line for chair massages while getting pedicures, manicures, eyebrows waxed etc. for 12 years now and while there have been many trainees that have started their nail life at Nail Line, they move on, but Jon & Lisa keep going. If you are not happy, they will make it right. They are reasonably priced and I have rarely ventured anywhere else. The reason is that most places have a high smell of nail polish etc. and with myself being so sensitive to smells, I don’t have to worry about this at Nail Line. I can breathe and enjoy my Me time with great people. Come and try Nail line. Ask for Jon or Lisa. I love the Sugar Scrub pedicures and now the powder nail manicures. Just awesome!

For past few years Lisa has given me pedicures. She is the best. Very professional and competent. The salon has new furnishings, always very clean and sterilized packs of tools. Highly recommend

People tend to have varying opinions about nail salons nowadays, but this one’s worth trying! I greatly appreciate the cleanliness and patience from the workers. All of the equipment seem pretty new. Highly recommend for a self-care treat!

This is the first time, that Ive been at a nail salon and it is just fantastic because the girls here are great! They are all super friendly and fun to talk to. Coming here to get my prom nails was just fun because I enjoyed having Lissa work on my nails. She took her time on each nail to make them look perfect, but also she was fun to talk to. I would recommend this to my friend.

So upset today my french manicure was horrendous!!! only 1 person attending he start good but he see more people to come and do not give me a good service..sad!!sad!! sorry but is true .and he be angry because I tell him to fix some ones of my nails..

Owners were very nice and knowledgeable nails and toes look great. Will be using them permanently. Shop was very clean. Pedicure was amazing. Not sure why they have bad reviews. Prices were very reasonable for the services you receive

Such a nice family owned business ...NOT a place that doesnt care about their customers needs at all....This family owned business have their own children in the Hoover and UAB school and college systems and give happily give back to the community!!

So awful my jewls fell off the same day and two of my nails chipped off the second day. there was polish on my skin and they were filed so uneven.

Went here one time. Never again, the owners are rude as hell. I wore tennis shoes so I asked for flip flops and was told they dont come with pedicures. When I asked to have the polish removed to put my shoes on the female tech got an attitude, the male owner told me to sign the card receipt and get out. I will never step foot in that place again!

I got a gel manicure and was very unhappy. The polish went into my cuticles and was very sloppily done. It isn’t even at all and I can’t touch it up or fix it since it’s gel. It’s also just poorly applied, some nails you can see through it and some have bubbles in the polish.The woman who did my nails commented that she had to cut “so so much” off my cuticles, said my skin was very dry, and said my nails were too short and I should get acrylics. It didn’t seem clean or sanitary. It was $35 and I feel certain it won’t last more than a day or two since the polish laid over my cuticles is already peeling up.

The first time I went here was for a pedicare. The one man who works there is the one who did the pedicure. He did a great job with the leg massage. After he painted my toenails, I noticed that he had missed the sides on two of my toenails. They were missing polish on the edges. I asked him to correct it and he said, You dont move your feet so that I can reach the sides of your toenails. Really?I decided to give the place another try. I went in for a full set of pink and white. They used tips and then put the white powder on top of the tips. The young lady tech placed the tips high, so they grew off in just a few days. Usually, salons will place them lower on your nail bed so that you can have a few weeks before they grow off. I told him I usually get the pink and white powder and it is all powder, sculpted on a guard, not a tip underneath. He asked, By an American? And I said Yes. And he said, That is not a true pink and white.Poor quality for the price, and the man who works there has a bad attitude and shows no class.

Always a great experience here at Nail Line. Lisa and Jon give great service. My pedicures are always done to perfection and I dont let anyone else touch my feet

Terrible...I will never come here again. Too much polish after I asked for correction. They seem to have an issue seeing what they were doing. Now I see why they were not crowded on a Saturday. PEDICURE, she painted my toe along with the nail and the water was cold. Sad Service.Nails are not straight.Bad Polish Job.Dishonest with the pricing...the sign said $18 and she wanted to charge me $20.The lady went and asked the man what to charge after I pointed the posted price out to her.

Awful! Im from Atlanta, GA and stopped in for a gel manicure. The nail tech went between me and three other clients at the same time. I paid for gel nails, which Ive been getting for years (at other establishments) and know for a fact they arent supposed to chip and smudge after application. Its day two of my manicure and my nails are already chipping. My husband told me it looks like our three year old did my nails. Dont waste your money!!!

The place is very clean and feels like a spa. I had Tom doing a gel mani and pedi and he worked magic with my tiny nails, very professional and kind.

THE WORST! I got a full set acrylics and they were horrible! she repeatedly cut me after I kept saying ouch. she never wiped the dust off so you can see it through the acrylic. she filed them crooked so they were very uneven. she wouldnt even cut them shorter after I asked her to so they are too long for me. terrible, I will never go there again.

I came here with my family and spent well over $100 for mani and pedisAll of their polish options are old and crusty. The polished I had was old and therefore caused tiny bubble to appear on all of my nails. I kindly asked them to redo them and they said it was my fault the bubbles appeared and I must have touched something.How can something thats coming from the surface of my nail and through the top of the polish be caused by touching something. If i touched my nails against something the polish would have SMEARED OR MADE AN INDENTION. Thats common sense. If you punch a wall the hole you made doesnt punch in towards you. Bubbles are 3DThis man yelled at my mother and disrespected all of us. We werent saying that he did a bad job the polish was old and I wanted him to redo them so that I wont have bubbles in my nails. He literally argued with us like a Springer show. He ended up VERY ROUGHLY retouching my nails. They still had bubbles in them. So the polish was old. All he had to say was Im sorry were too cheap to keep fresh polish in so let me find a newer bottle and redo your nails.They asked my mother if she wanted gel nails, so she asked what the price was. One of the nail techs said dont tell her the price because she wont pay the extra money. Last i thought I was paying you to do my nails not to disrespect me TO MY FACE WHILE YOUR DOING MY NAILS!ALSO. PEOPLE OF COLOR(SPECIFICALLY BLACK PEOPLE) DO NOT COME HERE. THEY CATER TO WHITES AND TREAT US LIKE DIRT

Worst manicure I have ever received, I should have done it myself. I wish that I had looked at the other reviews before I went here. He overcharged me because he knew that I wouldnt be back.

DO NOT GO HERE! if you do, be sure you get your receipt if you’re paying with a card. I got charged extra on my card I did NOT approve of. Will be going back soon to talk to them, this is ridiculous and not okay.
