Would highly recommend! We saw dolphins and lots of turtles, and we always felt safe with the friendly staff looking out for us in the water. Would advise not to wear loose hats as you will lose them in the water :-)

We did the snorkelling with turtles tour. It was absolutely fantastic! The crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure that everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water. We would definitely recommend this experience to other people. There were quite a few families with young kids who had a great time!

Great tour! We got to see turtles and do snorkeling just as advertised. It was a nice boat ride to the middle of the ocean where there would be turtles coming up to the surface of the water, and you would get to go into the water and swim with fish and watch the turtles. There were complimentary water bottles, juice cans, and snacks that you have access to at all time of the trip. Early in the trip, you would be given instructions to use the snorkel mask and to swim with turtles without hurting them. Overall it was a nice experience and I would use services from Pure Aloha Adventures again!

Friendly staff worked hard to encourage my family since this was out first time snorkeling. The captain, Nathan, was really helpful in talking us though practicing the mask while floating next to the big blue mat. Tina and Lexie were also great. I am not a strong swimmer and I was truly helped every step of the way. I did see turtles and fish but Im not sure which kind of fish they were.My only complaint is that our boat didnt go as close as the other snorkeling boats so it made for a longer swim to get to the turtle area. I dont think I could have done it without the crew there. Some of my family werent comfortable after trying snorkeling near the boat. Nathan worked hard to encourage without being pushy. I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend giving it a try with this crew.

The snorkeling tour to Turtle Cove (or the turtle car wash) was absolutely worth the trip! We saw at least a dozen sea turtles with so many different types of fish. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable about the area and made it an even better experience!

Great experience! The crew was great! Saw so many turtles!! I’m not a strong swimmer and I’m terrified of water but I wanted to see turtles. They divided us in 3 groups: confident swimmers, medium swimmers, and beginners. I was with the beginners. They make sure everyone sees turtles regardless of your skill level. My husband was with the strong swimmers and he was able to go on his own and dive down. We both had a great experience! Please don’t touch the turtles! It’s harmful to them and you can get a fine!

This was a great experience! All of the tour guides are extremely nice and informative. Early August was extremely windy so the waves were a bit rougher, but we saw so much marine wildlife! If you are prone to seasickness, they also are very nice in giving tips on how to deal with it :)) You do not need to enter the water if you feel uncomfortable and they were very kind to accomodate to those who did not go in. I definitely recommend this if youre in Oahu!

We took the turtle snorkeling tour and it was awesome! They took the time to make sure we saw turtles, going to two different locations and making sure we really got our money’s worth! We also were able to see whales while we were out on the boat thanks to the captain and his crew! Everyone was so knowledgeable, kind and friendly! I highly recommend. From the moment I texted to get information to the moment I stepped off the boat when we were finished with our tour, I felt welcomed and like I was among friends!

Awesome place for snorkeling. Make sure you get there before 7 so you dont pay for the parking fee! Plus, the place fills up very fast! Our instructor was very nice and informational. She also went out of her way to help my brother out when it came to swimming, he was a little scared at first but she made him feel very comfortable.

Great time, short ride 15-20 mins out from the pier, small boat that fit maybe 20 or so, the guides were excellent, gave us a brief snorkel lesson and provided all the equipment. Saw a bunch of turtles, highly recommend.

I went on a guided snorkeling adventure with her and some of my dear friends visiting from Texas, and we had the best time! We had a group of 4, there were 23 total on the boat. Easy 25-30 min ride out to the turtle car wash .. the equipment overview was thorough got us all in the water quickly and Sammi our fearless leader was with us the whole time helping us spot turtles and helpitm anxious swimmers. Plenty of time was allotted for turtleing(just made that up ;) Crash our captain kept us all laughing and on schedule.. was a great trip we will definitely be back after SHOVEL-pUP hits the Amazon market ;)

Had some time before my flight and wanted to paddle board that morning before leaving. I was lucky to have a private tour guide, Eva, who was awesome. We stayed out a little longer paddling than the tour was allotted for. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable and very professional. I wish I had time to snorkel in Hanauma Bay with this company. I would definitely recommend these guys and if I’m back I will use them again for sure.

We used this company to take us snorkeling to Hanauma Bay. They had the foresight to even have a couple of masks with more common eye prescription lenses. One allowed me to see quite well and I am grateful they did that. Lindsay was the gal that took us out, she was very friendly and she took good care of us! Eva was amazing! She made our entire snorkeling experience smooth and fun! Before our arrival she made sure we were able to find parking and offered to pick us up if we had any trouble. Luckily we were able to find a great parking spot nice and close! Once we arrived down at the bay she gave us very thorough instructions on how to snorkel. We then went out together snorkeling and had an amazing time! I would definitely recommend getting the pictures as they made for capturing some wonderful memories! We were so happy to have had this amazing experience with Eva! Hanauma Bay is beautiful, but we wouldnt have seen as much if we had stayed inside close to shore. Eva took us beyond the reef break and we were alone with all the marine life! Eva was also very attentive to detail, bringing different sizes fins (even after asking us our shoe size). Great times!

Eva was amazing. From the beginning she was helpful and super informative. After purchase, an email was sent w/confirmation. Then called a few days before to confirm and then the day of as well. AMAZING! Stand up paddle boarding was by far my favorite part of my Hawaii vacation!I booked a private lesson for stand up paddle boarding with Eva, and it was beyond my expectations. Eva is so nice and a very good teacher! Im a visual learner, and she showed me exactly what to do. This was my first time doing SUP, and I nailed it (thanks to Eva!)We even cruised next to a sea turtle right when we got into the water. We also saw some puffer fish!TIP: definitely pay the extra fee for pictures. I thought about bringing my GoPro but it would be hard to take pics and paddle at the same time. Eva sent me my pictures within the same day of my lesson.10/10 would definitely do SUP with Eva again. I will tell everyone about this company! I plan to try their snorkeling tour the next time Im in Oahu!

This was the highlight of my holiday to Hawaii. I come from my home of Australia which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I took my mother on this and it was EXCELLENT. Ava our guide was just divine and so helpful she took us right out into the reef which I would have never gone out so far even though I am a confident and regular swimmer. We had the good fortune of seeing a sea turtle and I got right up close. Wow!!! Book this tour !!! It was worth more than we paid.

We went on the Hanuama Bay guided snorkeling tour today led by Eva at Pure Aloha Adventures. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. Eva is an excellent guide who is knowledgeable and friendly. Her tour is with a small group. Only 4 of us with Eva. I don’t know how to swim and she was very patient and helpful throughout the tour. She also made sure everyone in the group is enjoying the whole session. We saw tons of fish and a sea turtle. Excellent tour. Highly recommend it!

Took the paddleboarding class with Alia and it was great! I am not a strong swimmer but she brought a floatation for me to wear. I could stand up in no time and we were lucky enough to spot a sea turtle and a rainbow! She also gave me lots of recommendations of what else to do in Hawaii :)

Incredible experience! Our instructor, Alia, picked us up from the neighborhood before Hanauma Bay since the parking lot was fully packed. We got off to a slow start but she more than made up for it and our time didnt start until we were in the water. Things were explained well and in a friendly manner. Our gear was ready and organized. I was with my parents who were nervous about snorkeling for the first time as were the other 2 people in our group but Alia was very patient and made them feel comfortable. I did my own thing while she helped them. It was a wonderful time and I would recommend it to anyone. Cant wait to return for another experience!

Alia was great!! She took the time to explain everything to us and make us feel comfortable in the water (we went for the snorkel adventure at Hanauma Bay and I am not a great swimmer) but she took the time to show us all the different sea creatures we even saw a sea turtle!! Would highly recommend and would do it again!

Alia was absolutely great! We got to see a monk seal and octopus which I did not get to experience in my previous snorkel. She was good at checking on my husband and made sure he was doing okay since he’s not the best swimmer. She is very sweet, she tried to help us with our GoPro but we couldn’t figure it out; so she took some great photos for us. We would highly recommend her and pure Aloha adventures if you want to go snorkeling on Oahu. Thank you Alia!!!

I wish I could give 7 out of 5 stars.They were very professional, helpful and friendly.Their gear was good, and they were knowledgeable.I was scared to snorkel and they spent extra time (1:1) making her comfortable. I was not comfortable swimming and held the instructors hand for quite a while, but still she made me stay in water for the entire planned time.It was totally worth the price.

Go with Pure Aloha! I had a 10am paddle board lesson with Eva which I booked the night before. I received a confirmation email shortly and a call/text the morning of. She was super warm right away and totally set me at ease. She provided clear instructions on the beach and gentle instruction with encouragement the whole session. I wasn’t sure if SUP was for me, but if she can teach me, she can teach you. So much fun! We even saw a pufferfish and turtle. Bring polarized dummies if you have them (Eva’s tip). She’s a total sweetheart and very professional - the best of both. Thank you for the welcome to the island!!

Amazing experience! My first time snorkeling (I dont know how to swim) and Kim made it super easy! She even held my hand for the first 15 minutes until I felt comfortable in the water. My group split into two for the beginners and the pros and we the beginners mostly snorkeled around the shallow end of the bay, but we saw many beautiful fish. Would highly recommend it to any beginner!

Eva is the best guide we have had yet! She is kind, patient and caring. She was able to work with my adult son, who has autism. He swims well and has snorkeled, but still needs extra time getting into the water and adjusted. He connected well with Eva and was comfortable enough with her, I was able to swim away from time to time. We had a hard time parking and the plan she gave me worked out exactly as she said. We had a wonderful time and would do this again. We highly recommend Eva to anyone who has young children or family who just needs a little extra. She is awesome. Thank you, Eva!

During our week-long vacation in Oahu, our experience with Eva and Pure Aloha Adventures was hands down the highlight of the trip!!! Great experience. Eva made sure everyone was safe and tried to show us whatever creatures she safely could like a star fish, sea cucumber, shrimp, and eel. Although the reefs bleached there are many fish to see. Eva knew where to take us to get the most out of our experience. My 13y/o granddaughter had never snorkeled and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

Eva was wonderful on this trip. The two islands you see in the background of her picture was our destination. Eva supplied us with Stand Up Paddle Boards and since we are advanced paddlers we really got to get out in the water and see our true potential. Once we got onto the Moks, Eva took us hiking around the island to the Queen;s Bath, a little tide pool on the back side of the island. I especially enjoyed the fact that I got to surf on the paddle board, and got what is known in the surfing world as the Stoke. I fully recommend Eva for any water excursion, be that a group of friend of a family. She was very accommodating for the duration of the tour and Im excited to see what she has in store next time.

Eva gave me the most wonderful snorkel tour in Hanauma Bay!! Just being in the bay and experiencing its beauty was such a treat. To top it off, Eva led us to see the coolest sea creatures -- parrot fish, an eel, puffer fish etc etc! As a guide, Eva was patient, enthusiastic, and supported me in being adventurous and stepping outside my comfort zone. What an incredible experience!

This was an excellent tour and our guide Eva was amazing. Me and my friend were beginners to snorkeling and couldnt have asked for a better guide. She took us though the basic steps of snorkeling and then got us comfortable snorkeling in deeper waters. Got to see lots of exciting sea life including a nice big sea turtle. She was supervising and /or advising us and others in the group (some better than us at swimming) constantly. Before purchasing this on Groupon we were a little skeptical as to why this was a tad bit more expensive than the other Groupon deals available, but in the end, me and my friend both think this was worth the extra bit. Dont think we would have ventured into deeper waters without Eva s guidance. Even if you have snorkeled before, it may be a good addition as she seemed to know the right spots and ocean currents at the back of her hands as a guide! Thank you Eva!

Was our first time snorkeling. Eva guided us all over Hanauma Bay so we could experience all the beautiful things to see from fish, starfish, and coral. Unfortunately the turtles was a no show that day. I would highly recommend Eva as a guide and if I ever make it to the islands again, I will book with pure aloha adventures.

We booked a Hanauma Bay snorkel tour last minute and we were so happy we did. The line was so long when we got there but luckily we got to skip the line and Eva took us to the best areas of the bay where we even got to see an octopus! What an awesome experience! My friends and I snorkeled with our guide Alia at Hanauma Bay. Alia was wonderful; she was very patient and kind, tending to everyone individually and carefully. My friend and I arent very good swimmers so she made sure we were and felt safe. She also provided us with clear instructions on how to snorkel for the first time. We got to see a sea turtle up close and personal (about 3 feet away!), which we may not have been able to see without her guide. We spoke with some other people who were at the bay and they said they werent able to see it. The group that went before us apparently saw an octopus. All in all, would highly recommend this company and having Alia as the guide. You may see things you wouldnt have been able to see otherwise. Thank you Pure Aloha Adventures!

My boyfriend and I took a snorkeling tour with Alia and Nile yesterday and it was an awesome experience. If you are booking a tour for 10:15am or after, be sure to arrive early since you will likely have to park in the residential area and walk uphill to the reservation. Google Maps directions werent very reliable, but Alia and Nile took the effort to find us! Each tour is only a maximum of 6 people, which allows for an intimate experience and is great for beginner swimmers like me (I had 2 floaties lol). They were helpful with instructing us how to use the snorkeling gear, how to stop safely, etc. We were able to see many, many colorful fish and even found a spotted eel! Alia guided us through the best areas to snorkel of Hanauma Bay and Nile helped pull me during strong currents. Thanks so much for the memorable experience!

TLDR: Best experience we had during our week-long trip in Oahu! My girlfriend literally doesnt know how to swim - she was even afraid of putting her head under water before the snorkeling trip. However, Eva and Margaret were very patient and made sure she was able to enjoy the trip just as much as the rest of us. Hard to beat for the price, we even saw the hard-to-catch turtle! We will definitely be returning as customers the next time we are in Hawaii :)

Ive been on several tours to Hanauma Bay over the years. The last one just dropped us off at the gate and told us the pickup time. Pure Aloha was the BEST experience Ive had for not only the first time snorkeler but also for the more experienced. Eva took her time with the beginners making sure they knew the proper way to use the equipment. The equipment was well maintained and she had a full compliment for our needs. Our group of 6 was just the right size for the personal touch. I would highly recommend this tour for families with pre-teen children. Two of our group were more advance and they were also able to get personal service. Evas knowledge of they bay was awesome. Not only would I highly recommend this service we will also try the paddle boarding.

We purchased a snorkel cruise well in advance to our trip in Hawaii. Unfortunately our cruise was cancelled and they failed to inform us.We wasted a whole day in Hawaii waiting for this adventure. They were very kind when we talked to them which is why I am giving them three stars. We were staying in Kailua so it was a drive in as well. This was the most disappointing part of our trip.

Paddle boarding was soooo much fun! Going to go again next time I come back to Oahu. Eva is a great teacher and very patient.

My pregnant wife really appreciated that you guided her through some relatively challenging (and shallow) waters. We will recommend you to family and friends and would love to do it again! Mahalo!

Had a blast it was my first time snorkeling and my wifes second Eva made this experince so fun and easy would 100% recommend if I ever come back Im doing one of her other lessons

Im so glad we decided to take the guided snorkling tour with pure aloha adventures! It was our first time snorkling and Eva was very patient, friendly and encouraging with us! And best of all she knew exactly where to take us to see the octopus and sea turtles! Highly recommend!

Took my daughters and grandkids to swim with the turtles. An amazing experience for all. Little ones still talk about it. Highly recommended!
