They do not answer phone calls nor do they return calls after leaving messages. You would be lucky if they return emails within 24 hours, poor customer service. We were outside the airport watched a group get on a shuttle ended up after 30 minutes of waiting finally getting handed a lei and waited another 15 minutes for another shuttle. They need a better system.

Undeserving of any stars. Worse customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve traveled around the world and had never had such horrible experience. Didn’t expect this type of service here in the states. DO NOT USE THIS SHI**Y SHUTTLE or expect delays and incorrect scheduled return shuttle. We experienced both and was unable to reach any one (unless you have hours on your hand to keep calling them). Many times it would route you through phone trees and then hang up on you. After many attempts I finally reached someone to make sure they update my return shuttle to the correct day and time. There’s no point of you guys having our airline details if you don’t review it, stay current with changes and then schedule the appropriate return shuttles.Like others have said book at your own risk, but if you need to call them expect to not be able to reach them unless you want to waste 4 hours of your vacation time trying to figure out their mistakes and incompetence.

I Called them to notify them of the change and pick up time due to change in the schedule for airport. Waited about 30 to 40 minutes couple of times to reach someone in the customer service department. She assured me that she will send over the information to Roberts transportation services so that we can be picked up earlier than what was initially planned. We waited in the hotel lobby for 45 minutes at the requested pick up time but no one was there for pick up. When I called their number again, of course they were closed. When I called the Robert transportation service, they told me that nobody from the aloha VIP tour company reached out to them to tell them about any kind of change. Stay away from this company. Will inform Costco travels as well about this horrible experience !

I am writing this review while waiting for take off. Just couldn’t wait to get home do it. Our pick up time was changed from 10 am to 8:15 am due to a flight change. We were notified of this change prior to the trip. Arrival shuttle was fine but the pick up trip was a disaster. We called Aloha VIP around 8:30 when we didn’t see the shuttle. And of course, no one picked up the phone. We did get a hold of a customer service rep at Roberts Hawaii and was told Aloha VIP didn’t update their system and we were scheduled to be picked up at 10. Roberts Hawaii couldn’t get a hold of their business partner Aloha VIP either. We ended up spending $65 for Lyft and frantically running through the gates to make our flight.Advice: don’t rely on Aloha for shuttle trips if you want to get home on time . I can’t imagine how their tour service would be.

These people are totally unprofessional, we have called them several times, sent them web enquire and emails because Costco travels has recommended us to use their services. Booking agent was supposed to call us to book activities and they have called us on the last day of our Hawaii vacation. We ended up using another service provider for our Hawaiian activities and tours - they were very spontaneous and professionals.Aloha VIP tour is not trust worthy and would recommend not to rely on their service.

There is a reason this place has bad reviews. It was convenient, but bad communication on where to go.We used this service in Maui with ease.In Oahu it was a different story. Picked up from the airport was quick. The lady gave us the info we needed for our ride from the hotel back to the airport. That was really nice! Our problems though were we got dropped off at some weird location. Our hotel is the massive Hilton Hawaiian Village. They dropped us off at a separate Hilton branch, leaving us clueless on where to go. We thought it was a mistake because there was shuttle drop off outside our check in area and we saw the speedi shuttles at that drop off location. Plus the slip the gal at the airport gave us said pick up was at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Here’s the day that we are getting picked up. It’s 8:45pm and no one has shown up. I call customer service and the rudest lady comes on to help. She informs me that the driver is at the not Hilton Hawaiian Village location. Even the guy at the shuttle station said it was weird, because Speedi shuttle picks up there all the time.Only thing that was nice was the shuttle driver turned around. Getting off the phone with the support gal was a treat. I said thank you and she just went click. We luckily had a bell hop from our hotel help us find where our shuttle was. No way we would have found it on our own. When we get there, there is a shuttle there that wasn’t speedi shuttle. Turns out they had us on a different shuttle too. We would have never known that.If you are in a small hotel you probably wouldn’t have any issues. Bigger hotels make sure you ask where pick up and drop off is and what shuttle is getting you.

The departure information they gave me for my hotel pick up is wrong. I Told the person who picked us up from the airport, he told me just to call their office. Called the office 48 hours before our pick up,( called July 25 09:26 am) only a voicemail, left a message no one called us back. Tried to call again 4 hours after 13:26 finally I spoke to a person ( Told her to change the Hotel pick up to Waikiki Ilikai and change the time to 10:30 am) Made some changes, the lady told me she will do the changes and our pick up is set. Our pick up date came, NO one picked us up. Called the office again, only a voicemail, left a message, no one called us back. Waited for 30-45 minutes, finally we decided to use Uber to bring us to the airport. DO NOT Use ALOHA VIP TOURS INC. they will only take your money. The reservations is under my name and I left my telephone number.

They were booked to pick us up at Oahu airport. They were one hour late at the airport. I kept on calling and left voicemails but nobody picked up or responded. I kept looking throughout terminal with my full family with young kids. At the end the airport security accidentally found a lady who wasnt even wearing the named uniform turned out to be the pick up person. She simply dismissed saying - sorry we are busy.>>>>> My comment on owners responseI can somewhat understand you are staying busy with more tourists. However its unforgiving that you did not call or message and notify that you are running late, neither you picked up or responded to my phones ever when I tried calling you multiple times over. It was agonizing experience. In fact you responded to this Google review right away which is better than futile effort to call you. I will share this feedback with Costco Travel who pride in higher customer service and I hope they find other tour operators in future.

Booked a tour with them because I had a credit. I emailed to ask why I was charged full price and they canceled my booking (without explanation). I called twice and was on hold a total of an hour, never got through to anyone. All their tours can be booked directly through the actual company with a quick internet search. I cant think of reason to bother with them if youre not trying to redeem a creditEDIT: The business response confirms how terrible they are. They cancelled the trip 4 days prior to the date of the event. I spent the next 2 days calling and emailing to try to understand what happened. I got email responses that wouldnt explain why it was cancelled but to expect my refund to be processed in 3-5 business days. I rarely if ever leave reviews but in this scenario, we were unable to rebook with anyone else by the time we gave up since it was full by that time. Considering how fast tours book in Oahu, it is far far too risky to go with a company that has such a terrible track record.

I’m glad we didn’t look at the reviews prior to booking Aloha VIP Tours because that may have influenced our decision to use them. All I can say is that we had the best tour of the island and it was our tour guide, Ian, who made it an awesome experience! He was hilarious from the get-go and we laughed the entire time. Not only was he funny but he was super knowledgeable as well. I think the 1 star is very accurate here, read before booking through costco with their travel deal, the $100 travel credit they mentioned is very sketchy because this is really up to aloha vip if they will help you book your tour and redeem the credit.I recently purchased the deal through Costco and when I called vip aloha, only the receptionist picked up and was told to wait for a sale associate to call me back, which they never call back! I sent email to book the tour, but no reply.Even when I try to book the tour online. It doesnt have option to enter our costco reservation number to redeem the credit, you have to pay upfront if you really want to book it.So overall, their service is really out of place, I feel helpless because they seem to be very disorganized. Update: Use Yelp Request to get a faster response from this company. Marc Takeuchi reached out to me within 10 minutes when my shuttle was late picking me up to bring me to the airport. Im updating my review from 1 to 3 stars since Marc was able to help and take care of the situation.Aloha VIP tours? Pull your hair out of frustration tours or vacation crashers would be a more appropriate name.If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Their phone system is an endless loop into a black hole where I waited long enough to meet my future Grand kids, it was only after I hung up where reality rushed back to my younger self. Unfortunately I got scheduled with this company through the Costco vacation package. I have no idea what kind of contract Costco has with them or how Costco gets in touch with them to schedule the initial airport pickup. They would probably be out of business if customers had to call in and schedule their own reservations because they wouldnt answer their phones to begin with.It seems like this company is just a middle man to get activities/pickups scheduled and charging a premium for it. I found the activities and services at a lower rate once I got on the island. My experience:At the airport I went to look for the driver who was not there. So I called this company and was greeted with their endless loop of automated voice answering service as I stood burning under the hot afternoon Hawaiian sun at an airport with no A/C. The driver must have realized that he had forgotten to pickup passengers on his list and came back to get me half an hour later.I used our Costco credit to schedule the Luau show on their website a couple of months prior to arriving in Hawaii. When I went back in to the website to look for what I had booked, for more info, and like a magic trick there was no reservation to be found. Then I tried calling for more info and I was in their endless loop of automated voice answering service as I sat and stared at the wall thinking about how I could get out of doing business with this company. I only found out more info by googling the Luau show and contacting the host directly to confirm my reservation, and the address for the show.Lastly I called and left a voicemail 4 days prior to my departure date just to be safe because at this point I knew it would be more difficult to get in touch with them than trying to call to cancel a cable contract. I called early in the morning and got to the voicemal. This felt more of a win than my favorite football team winning the superbowl. Then when I didnt get a call back after 3 hours I called again and was greeted with their endless loop of automated voice answering service where I thought deeply about where this company would fall under the list of companies with the worst customer service. Finally they called me back on the 5th hour and I felt luckier than a leprechaun finding gold at the end of a Hawaiian rainbow. To all the suckers like me who already got scheduled with them, good luck trying to reschedule or cancel a reservation. Call early in the morning to get the voicemail, or be greeted with the automated voice of doom.To all the people looking to schedule with this company, dont be a sucker like the rest of the 1 star reviewers and take your business elsewhere.

The transfers were smooth and the driver gave us a mini tour on the drive to the various hotel drop offs. We caught wind the day before pickup that the bus pickup location had changed so I called Aloha VIP Tours to confirm. I really drilled the agent on the pickup location. She convinced me that the Sheraton location was correct. We showed up at the Sheraton at 10:00 (15 minutes early) and waited over an hour. We than called Aloha VIP Tours. She first told me the Sheraton was the correct pickup but then realized that the pickup location had changed. Wanted to balance out some of the negative reviews here since I didnt really have any major issues with them on my recent trip to Waikiki. I also was booked with them through Costco Travel - specifically the package to Honolulu / Waikiki. For those who are really curious about the entire process; read on. First of all Aloha VIP appears to be a B2B (business to business) that works directly with Roberts Hawaii. Some of the tours booked on the Costco package also are Aloha VIP / Roberts Hawaii tours. When youre choosing your Costco package, there are 2 shuttle transfers included (from airport to hotel and vice versa). These are named Aloha VIP as the contact, but in reality all they do is just schedule on your behalf a shuttle from Roberts Hawaii. If you want piece of mind while traveling, try and contact Aloha VIP and ask them specifically which shuttle from Roberts Hawaii is coming to pick you up. Also make sure to contact them early in the morning when they open the day of your arrival / departure or the night before either. As for the shuttle themselves; this is why I took off a star. Aloha VIP was actually pretty straight forward. A representative met me and my wife at our landing gate, gave us our greeting Lei and lead us to our shuttle after baggage claim. Then a Roberts Hawaii shuttle came about 20 minutes later - then proceeding to pick up and drop random parties off at their respective destinations. This process took 90 minutes. So the moment we landed and then finally arrived at our hotel - it was about 2 hours later. You can imagine taking a bus, ride share (Lyft / Uber) or even a cab would of been a lot quicker and more direct without the hassle. The 2nd star I took off is because the Roberts Hawaii tour (specifically the Grand Circle Island Tour) was not that impressive overall. This tour felt rushed and we only had on average 20 to 30 minutes per stop while the rest of it was sitting on the bus. Another tour I had booked with Polynesian Adventures was much more relaxed on time frames even though they had 1 or 2 less stops (which in my opinion worked out better). This is not necessarily Aloha VIPs fault for the poor tour experience, but if theyre working with and representing Roberts Hawaii as well - then they also share the blame. In the end it wasnt a bad experience at all nor was it a great one. Aloha VIP did their job to the letter and I thank them for that. But theres a lot of room for improvement for sure.

Worst transfer ever. Do not use this company. No one was there to meet us. We collected our bags and were still waiting so we called Aloha VIP. There is no VIP about it. Twice the calls went to voicemail. Third time was a charm and got someone to pick up. This person assured me that our greeter had been at our gate and would come down to meet us at baggage claim. When she finally arrived (after waiting 30 minutes), she told us that she had not been at our gate but was meeting other people in the other side of the airport. Went outside and there was no shuttle. Called again and was hung up on. Unbelievable! After waiting an hour, one showed up and we began our tour of the Honolulu airport to pick up others. Total frustration. An Uber was only $40 and would have been a much better experience. Still sitting on the shuttle picking up lots of new friends. Not sure Ill ever make it to my hotel. I cant believe that this is the transfer service offered by Costco Travel!! I expect so much more from Costco in choosing their partners.

Excited about my VIP lei greeting in Hawaii, with airport transfer. No greeting, no lei, no call, no one knew where they were. Happen to find help getting to the shuttle. Got the feeling they dont show up a lot.

DO NOT use this very unprofessional company! They started with a welcome breakfast where they act like they actually care about you. Trust me; THEY DONT. All they care about is getting into your wallet. My daughter and I booked several tours through this company. On the very first one, a luau, they put the wrong pick up place and time on the voucher. After several minutes of running through the streets of Honolulu, we were finally able to connect with our tour bus at the correct location. They didnt seem surprised at all about Aloha VIPs screw up. I called Aloha VIP and requested a call back regarding this situation, and to make sure we had the correct information going forward for the other tours we had booked. When they failed to return my call the next day, I called them. I discovered that all of our tour vouchers, with the exception of one, had incorrect pick up times and locations on them. Thank God I called! The customer service rep. acted like she could care less, and didnt even offer an apology. She is probably just used to this kind of service from this joke of a company, and all of the customer complaints that undoubtedly roll in as a result of it. On the day we left, Aloha VIP was supposed to pick us up and transport us to the airport. When they were 15 minutes late, I called and was told the bus would be there within 5 minutes. Again, no apology. We waited 10 more minutes and, when they still didnt show up, just hailed a cab to the airport. My daughter and I had a great Hawaiian vacation, despite Aloha VIPs ineptness. There are plenty of tour companies on Oahu. I am sure there are some legit companies that will value your business, Aloha VIP is not one of them. I look forward to returning to Hawaii again someday soon. When I do, I will definitely not invest my hard earned money and faith in this shoddy company. Proceed with these people at your own risk. You have been warned.

This company is 100% horrible. We booked a tour and the time said, 5:45 AM and NO ONE CAME at the location that we were told. So we ended up waiting 1 hour and a half outside hopeful that they would come. Additionally they are not organized at all. We called the company and the business doesnt open until 7 so we couldnt even talk to the company about our situation. Other tour companies were way more organized. They were calling names and making sure they were picking up ALL their passengers. . Do not choose this company.

We missed the pick up bus because we were given wrong timing. Forced to take uber. My husband said you need to make for the $60 uber fare. After 20 min of negotiating they sent a taxi to pick us up.

Aloha VIP were not there when we arrived from an international flight as booked. When we called they said that Raylene was just around the corner.....over an hour later she arrived and wanted to sell us local tours. She then walked us to an external shuttle bus and that was the last we saw of her. This is the opposite of VIP. We checked that she had the details for our other family member arriving later that night. Suprise suprise...Aloha VIP was no where to be seen when that member arrived and had to make own way to the hotel. they dont have an after hours contact number. I do not reccomend using this company.

What a horrible company. PLEASE STAY AWAY. They left my girlfriend and I stranded at the hotel. They gave me a pickup time, we were there 10 minutes prior. After 15 minutes passed from the pickup time, I called and they told me the driver is late and they will be there in 5 to 10 mins. So after 30 minuted after the pickup time, I called and they said the driver was there on time and marked me as a no show. Instead of helping me arranged transportation, they hanged up the phone on me twice. We had to take a taxi, almost miss my flight. Then I called them back one last time for the lady to tell me that must be karma. Once again, do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this company. Horrible customer service, inconsistent information, they will steal your money and blame you. Now I have to find a way to get my money back because evrything was prepaid. Con artist run this company.

I hate to be another person who doesn’t have many nice things to say about this business, but it truly is unfortunate. There was one representative that was nice and responsive, but besides that, the other representative I dealt with was extremely rude and it seemed as though she did not want to help. Her attitude was not at all what I expected from this service. Communication is not something Aloha VIP Tours is good at, whatsoever. I am very surprised that Costco has partnered up with them.

Excellent company. We were picked up upon arrival at the airport to be taken to our hotel. Then from our hotel to the port for our cruise. And back from the port to the airport. Very courteous and very professional service. Thank you aloha vip. It is to recommend.
