Mike and his crew were awesome (Wild Bunch). I recommend them and don’t let the price stop you!

We made a reservation to go out on the Mazel Tov and we were the first ones to arrive to board the ship. As more people started showing up it was apparent that they had overbooked the charter for that morning. Kelly called us and asked if we were willing to reschedule since other members did not want to reschedule. She told us that she could get us on another charter in the next couple days before we left the island and she got us an Uber back to our hotel. After we got back to our hotel, we texted and called Kelly to see when we could reschedule for. No text back, no calls returned. Very unimpressed with this company and their communication. Would not recommend.

Great fishing!

My husband and I went on a full day fishing trip with playing hooky. This was suppose to be the highlight of our trip. We were out for 10.5 hours and did not catch anything at all. Crew was not friendly and didn’t even try to create much of a conversation at all. Very uncomfortable experience and expensive. Waste of an entire day spent in Hawaii. Such a bummer!

Had a great time on the Wild Bunch. Great crew, Mike and Craig! Outstanding trip. Would recommend to family amd friends. Cant wait to go back out.

Went on Strikeology on Dec 29, 2015 with my 3 kids and one son-in-law. It was an absolutely awesome trip. The captain and crew were wonderful. We caught an Ono and the best part was my catching and landing a 180 lb Blue Marlin!!!! Would highly recommend going fishing with these guys!!! Thanks Ken

My husband loves deep sea fishing so I booked him on a surprise trip through Hawaii Deep Sea Fishing, our plane was delayed due to storms and we flew in a day late - Hawaii Deep Sea Fishing took care of everything by rearranging our reservations last minute to get us out. We caught a tone of fish, the crew were great and we had a blast. We love fishing, but the customer service was great, I recommend this company!

I was very disappointed with my trip on the Mazel Tov. The crew was extremely nice. I enjoyed visiting with both Kelle and Clint. After that it went downhill. The boat was advertised as having AC and I even double checked after booking. The generator had gone out last year and instead of fixing it they installed an inverter which ran the AC for about the first 30 minutes before the batteries went dead. The gear was well maintained but they never maned the lines after putting them out for 8 hours. We had one hit at which time the first-mate was in the head and the captain was at the helm. The captain then criticized the first mate in front of us for not having the clicker on the reel. For 8 hours and only one bite, they only changed one lure and never adjusted lines after putting them in the water. Through most of the trip the two visited on the bridge. Additionally they had a friend as a ride-along who slept on the only chair in the cockpit the entire trip.

Crew was great, but the 4hrs was a little long for the kids.

Amazing .. Out of Lahainia with Hinatea. These guys (Craig and Jason) were top-notch. We caught fish and more fish. Great time!

These guys were awesome, 5 stars, they did everything to get us out fishing last minute. Highly recommend them and we got lucky fishing too. MahiMahi on the BBQ at the park was spectacular.

Very disappointed. Our guide thought we were four hours when we booked six. We started off catching fish and then the captain left that spot when they were still biting. We spent the next 45 minutes catching probably enough bait for him the rest of the week because he only had a few pieces. My husband and brother in law have been on numerous charters and never have they had to catch bait. Then we spent a short time in another spot and then about 30 - 40 minutes bringing in lines and heading what I thought was going to be to another location. Turns out they were headed in. We then had to prove we booked 6 hours with them blaming the company, when it turns out it was the captains wifes fault. So the majority of our $1,200 fishing charter was wasted time. It was my 60th birthday trip and I would not recommend the Reel Lucky charter.Deby & Kevin Sebastian

I initially asked for a price quote for 7 to 8 fishers to do a private charter. They quoted 875$+taxThen at the booking I said we would only be 6, the price stayed the same.But ultimately someone decided to just accompany on the boat. Assuming that we had booked a private charter and that there was no price difference in the quote for 8 people and 6 people, there should not have been any problem. But halfway through the cruise they tell us it is an extra 93$ for the 7th person.First of all i can not see how they can justify such a price difference since the gaz consumption is the same, they didn t offer any drinks or food on the boat anyways. Secondly the 93$ should have been deducted from the initial price quote if we had been only 6 passengers.I would not recommend an untrustworthy agency. Try someone else.

I dont often write reviews but we had such a great time in Hawaii. We booked our fishing with Hawaii Deep Sea Fishing and they recommended a great boat for our family called Excellence! This was the highlight of our holiday. (Ok the golf was pretty great too!) My family had never been to Maui before and we really didnt want a typical fish boat that we have seen and been on before. The staff at Hawaii Deep Sea Fishing told us that we would have a great day out with this boat and said the captain was a great guy (he was amazing, lov ya captain Chris!) anyway thanks for making our fishing trip so memorable, Cant wait to come back and get out again on another boat!

Booked a fishing trip with Hawaii Deep Sea Fishing in June for Kauai and they told us abut a couple boats that had good fish catches. We ended up booking a 6 hour private charter and caught 3 Ahi Fish! My husband and son were sooo soo happy, it was the hightlight of our trip to Hawaii. Thanks again guys, we will use you again when we come back next year.
