Great prices and great staff. We love this place!
After seeing Honolulu Habitat for Humanity ReStore on Yelp, I decided to make a quick stop to check out their warehouse. Im not big into thrifting but Ive been trying to find used wine glasses or small pots for a crafting party and decided it wouldnt hurt to take a look.Located right off of King Street in Kalihi, ReStore is a big warehouse full of used furniture, appliances, homegoods, paints, lighting and everything you can think of to repair or remodel your house. All I could think as I wandered through is: My Dad would LOVE this place! Hes a fix it, DIY kind of guy who would rather labor for weeks than ever let anyone install anything into his house. ReStore has a totally random assortment of items, but if youre a do-it-yourself type, who loves to pinch every penny, this place is heaven. Jalousies for $.75, brand new weed wackers that need batteries replaced, new sinks and cabinets... basically things that I have zero interest in, but a guy like my Dad would totally find exciting!Lots of free parking by the warehouse and a great place to donate your used goods to charity.
Super kind staff, great prices, wide variety of secondhand items
Sometimes go there for a treasure hunting. Unique place. Staff members are friendly.
No stars. They dont deserve one. Ive been coming in here for a long time hoping that my experience would be better each time but it seems to just get worst. Volunteers dont seem care to assist or too busy to. Store Manager seems to have a poor attitude all the time. Doesnt smile or lacking customer service. Volunteer coordinator seems clueless. No idea whats going on. Im sure there are others that feel the same. Perhaps the staff members need to pay more attention to customers than to themselves. They cant be that busy. Ill be sure to tell my neighbors about my experiences and never coming back.
I love this place, all the nice people donate all their cool stuff there because the sale’s money goes to help others. You never know what you will find, I go often.
Habitat for humanity restores are an amazing place to look for so many different things. Its awesome prices, helps out a good organization, and buying used is wonderful for the environment. I wish more people realized they existed. They have donated items like: furniture, lighting, and rugs that are just good to go when you get them home. Then they also have reclaimed building items/materials like wood, tile, tools, door nobs, paint, stains, cabinets, doors, ECT.I seriously recommending checking out here first before stoping into Lowes or Home Depot because there is a good chance that they might have what you were looking for except 1/10 the price. The staff is wonderful nice and helpful. The only downside of this place is they close too early and are closed on Sundays. Because that is normally when I remember I want to go there is when they are about to close or on Sundays.
Habitat for Humanity gets the funds from these sales, so will U all please bring your things and be supportive?Helps Those Without Roofs!ReStore is where we get items to Artfully Repurpose ~♡
Decent prices, didnt ask to help me with anything but made sure to run me out of the room with signs pointing to it saying more shopping this way. Greeted only the people they felt like greeting... weird vibe honestly.
It was cool that this is here. But it was a little over priced and not a wide selection. Its for a good cause though. But not cheaper.
Great place for green building supplies, restore and make the world a better place :-)
Its always a good thing to have. Theres was t much when I went there but there LED bulbs are only a $1 a peice. That was cool
Extremely nice people that work there. So very helpful.
Dont know WHERE anything but FIVE star reviews come from! These guys DO NOT RIP OFF LIKE RE-USE HAWAII! Those guys sold all of Don Hos furniture from his old Lanikai home FULL OF POWDER POST BEETLES--which are WORSE than termites--AND THEY KNEW ABOUT IT AND NOT ONLY SAID NOTHING BUT DIDNT CARE! I WILL NEVER TRUST RE-USE HAWAII AGAIN !I go here to Habitat Kalihi instead. EASY to FIND across Tomashiros fish market down the alley by the tall orange and white tower old fire station off King Street. Good folks, good prices and they are HONEST.You can find some cool stuff too--unusual. Not all the time, but enough to make it fun. I got my front door here, windows, tile, grout, paint....stain...hmmmm..GO!
