Very helpful, especially with last minute rentals! Delivered a beach wheelchair only a few hours after I called. They were very thorough in explaining how the chair broke down and the best way to carry it. We ended up on a beach near the facility, and they let us drop it off. Delivery and pickup of the chair is included in the rental price. Very happy with their service!

Our family is thankful for Hawaiian Islands Medical. We are renting a hospital bed from them for our mother. We especially appreciate Alicia who has been so patient and helpful. Alicia helped our mother find a mattress that was comfortable, she returns our calls, she answers all our questions. We also appreciate Kevin who delivered the bed and mattresses. He is kind, never rushed, careful, wears a mask, explained how the bed worked, etc.

I was in urgent need of medical supplies when my father moved to Oahu before the holidays. I found the assistance on the phone and the time frame for delivery was excellent.The issues I had: 1. The lift chair that dropped when going into a reclining position. The service person didnt fix or improve the problem until we asked him to return and showed him one of the issues. The chair had improved function by it still didnt feel safe as the frame was bent according to the service person. When we called there was no replacement but my father needed something to assist him to stand.2. When the equipment was picked up-only one employee came and I needed to assist the employee to carry the lift chair out of my house and up in to his van. I offered to move my car and he could use the ramps but he didnt feel like he could move the van to accomplish this. I still didnt feel the need to write a negative review until the third issue:3. I received a bill listing me as the patient. First of all we had paid in full at the time of the rental and had the equipment picked up prior to the date for another months rental, so no bill should have been generated. The bill stated the cost had never been processed though an insurance company-so call if there were any issues. The response we received was the name could not be changed because it was a patients chart and they were never told the patients name. I must have said a half dozen times-we didnt exactly know what my dads needs are and was told we could put the first months rent toward the purchase of what we needed. The patients name certainly does not have to be the renters name. They should have asked if it is a medical chart.4. The responses my husband got when following up did not follow their motto of Excellent Service Trusted Friends by not taking my name off as the patient, and not asking how they could make it. I dont trust them if they dont ask who the patient is, and if they send bills when the account was paid in full.

I had to call back to order a Four Wheel Walker with Chair and once again Alicia help me with my order and delivery was made same day. Alicia made everytime I had to call to order something easy and stress free.The delivery guys were all friendly they made sure everything was adjusted and ok before they left.If you need anything I highly recomed Hawaiian Island Medical for the best service.We are very satisfied customers.

Needed a wheelchair for a few days. The original chair I asked for wasnt a good fit and was easily helped into a new one. High quality chair too. The service was fantastic and the prices were unbeatable.

Your help in providing my visiting in-laws with a walker rental was wonderful and I cant even begin to say how grateful we were for it! This company is a true example of Aloha life. Fast, efficient and friendly.I needed a lift chair recliner for my father in law and Hawaiian Islands Medical delivered one and set it up faster than I would have believed possible considering that I called only a couple of hours earlier.

The delivery guy was so very nice & changed my walker wheels right there from outside to inside for ease in narrow hall like therapist suggested. He also adjusted the height. Very nice person. I just do not like this walker. Feels heavy compared to my loaner walker & I really dislike the grips. They are the sticky feeling material Ive used & w/hand sanitizer used for a period of time, they turn unuseable. Will check for an exchange.

They do not care that they are providing for people who are in need. They still havent given my son his wheel chair and it has been almost 9 months since they took his measurements! By the time they give it to us who knows how long it will fit him. It took 8 months for you guys to even send the paperwork to his doctor. You should be ashamed of how little you care about your patients. They should be a priority and I feel bad for the patients who are stuck waiting in the hospital because supplies arent there. Medical is paying so your should provide what they pay for. On TIME.

Ive been waiting for at least 3 months now... I dont know if the company or the insurance... Im sure the company would appreciate the sale, but so little information is givin to the customer... How do we speed up the process....
