You need to rent yourself a scooter. The best mode of transportation when in Hawaii. I originally had booked it for 3 days, we loved it so much that we rented an extra 2 days! You dont have to worry about finding parking because you can park this basically anywhere. We see other people struggling to find parking with their car, places where there are limited on space. NOT WHEN YOURE ON A SCOOTER!! Would definitely rent with these guys again.

This was amazing! We rented a scoot coup for 8 hours, drove the entire boundary area. It was fun, safe, easy to ride, park and be in the midst of traffic in Felt safe, enough power for 2 of us, we drove about 100 miles, enough to see everything. The staff were nice, easy rental process and glad I did this. I highly recommend it.

Such great customer service. Luxury got us set up with a 24 hour moped, which I named the “storm trooper” and gave a lot of great recommendations for local food outside of the tourist trap. Everyone was so nice and appreciative of our business. I would highly recommend them again. And if you want some local recommendations, and sweet customer service ask for Luxury.

My husband and I scheduled this very last-minute and we were not disappointed! When we had an issue with one of the mopeds it was immediately resolved and we were back out exploring the island in less than 15 minutes! Absolutely will recommend to all of our friends.

Great experience. Staff is courteous and always smiling. It feels like they enjoy helping people. Machines are top quality. The coverage is good to get but its a little pricey. I wish the helmets came with a Go Pro attachment

My wife and I rented a couple of mopeds and had a blast. They were great for getting around the area. The lesson given to operate them was great and the guy that did it made us feel confident and ready to go. The service was overall excellent. We didn’t arrive till mid afternoon, but if you are doing mopeds then you can turn them in after hours (not the 2-seat scoot coops though because they aren’t safe to drive at night). We definitely plan to rent them for a full day so we can hit various sites around the island.

Very convenient location, one block away from waikiki beach and they have more than enough mopeds and various colors. they do get busy so be patient and be ready when they assist you helps process go quicker. You watch a safety video which is helpful, it was our first time riding mopeds so it will feel a bit sketchy at first but if you know how to ride a bike than youll adjust and settle in as you ride. Overall great experience and will absolutely rent with Hawaiian style rentals again. Oh yeah and you get a full tank of gas and they encourage you to ride until you have just enough to make it back. I love Hawaii...

Excellent friendly service and good equipment! It was my first time renting a sport moped. They walked me through the whole experience and I felt very confident with the product and service. Luckily I bought the recommended insurance because I broke the key in the lock, and they drove out to my location immediately with a new bike. Aside from the service/product, exploring Oahu beyond Waikiki on moped was amazing! Highly recommend the entire experience and I’ll certainly be doing it again!

That was so much fun! Rented it out around 1 pm and kept it until late night. I rode around Diamond Head rd and I was able to see the most amazing things!! Everyone was super courteous and helpful and they were patient with my first moped rental experience. I appreciate everyone there!

My daughter and I rented a couple scooters for just a few hours and drive partway around the island. We didn’t have time to extend, but I would have loved to go all the way around. Maybe next time!

Our service was spot on and very quick! Robin was super informative, and taught us about the insurance options which was extremely beneficial considering my accident. Zach gave a great lesson and was super patient with me. I returned to the shop after my accident and Kennedy was very compassionate and helpful about my accident and made me feel so much better. The manager Jesse was extremely understanding as well and helped sort out the issues seamlessly. Would absolutely recommend again!!!

We had an amazing time with the mopeds! My sisters and I rented them for the day, but as most people mentioned, you will need to budget an hour to get started with registry and prepping for your first ride. It did took us an hour before we got on the mopeds. Kai really helped me out, I forgot my license at the hotel and she was trying to find alternative ways for me to get on the mopeds! If you’re in the area, definitely checked them out! It was an experience we will never forget.

This is a great place to rent a bike! Reasonable price and good service. The fitness bike I rented was heavily used and in pretty rough shape. It had a lot of creaking sounds coming from the bottom bracket. The gears and the brakes worked, so it was good enough. This was the only available bike in my size, so I felt lucky to have it. I rode it about 20 miles a day for 6 days.I assume that most of their bikes are in better condition than the one I rode. Waikiki was over packed with people and I felt lucky just to have found a bike to ride.

This was one of our favorite things we did while visiting! Highly recommend. We took the Diamond Head trail, up to Manoa Falls (which was closed) then to Punch Bowl. We all felt completely amd safe.

Great place to rent a 3 wheel scooter. The young man who checked us out wanted to make sure everything was good before riding off. The same young man checked us back in and wanted to make sure everything went well and we enjoyed ourselves. The answer to both questions was yes. Even while rental cars are surging to prices that are offensively high... 2x more than the hotel stay... Hawaiian style still has the same very reasonable prices they always have. The whole rental process is super streamlined and efficient. And the staff are wonderful.

Q helped us out with the vehicle and gave us a crash course again on how to operate the vehicle. He was super helpful and professional! He even took a picture of us without hesitation when we asked him. The girl at the front desk was also super nice and helpful with information. She gave us a map and explained the beautiful parts of the island we can easily access. Super amazing staff overall!!!

We had so much fun renting bikes from here and riding them alongside the beach and to the nearby parks. The staff was super friendly and helpful and they explained all the details very well for beginners like us. We used our Go City pass and did have to pay a little extra money for the insurance, just incase to protect it but it was less than 10 dollars and we honestly felt more secured paying for it than if something bad were to occur and wed have to buy the entire bike. We parked at the zoo and paid for the parking there because it was honestly closer and right beside all the places we wanted to ride the bike too. Plus parking at the Zoo right now is only $1.50 an hour. I would totally recommend this place because they did so great helping us.

We made a reservation online 2 days before for an all day scoot coupe and premium scooter. We had a great time! Loads of fun riding around diamond head crater, Honolulu and Waikiki and discovering new beaches. Even though they were very busy the staff was fast and efficient and very helpful. Absolutely awesome. I was in Oahu for a week and this was easily the highlight of the trip. The staff is great, super friendly and very helpful. Riding on the open road with the wind in your face is the best way to explore the island. Pure, untamed freedom. Like a peacock in the wind. Like a knife through butter. Two wheels is the new four. Every turn you miss is a new opportunity for adventure. We did not have GPS and ended up running into some amazing local wildlife (a mother board and her baby piglets). Not like ran into but we saw them - you know what I mean. Was honked at a few times but it was definitely my fault. Although it may sound intimidating, learning to ride a moped comes very naturally and I was hitting the highway within 10 minutes of riding. Take your bros, your special someone, or your parents on this unforgettable journey. You won’t regret it.Looking for more friends to ride with. If you’re a two wheel kinda person hit me up.

If are you looking for a way to get around Oahu, and it doesnt include a car I recommend heading over to Hawaiian Style Rentals & Sales. They are not only friendly with reasonable prices for their rentals they are also very knowledgeable. They offer moped, bikes, and scoot-coop rentals. I rented 2 mopeds one with a basket, and one sport. I definitely will recommend renting a sport model, as it has more pick up when going up hills. Some of my ventures with the mopeds included going to Cliffs Beach, Koko Head overlook, Halona Blowhole and Kailua Beach. It was definitely a surreal experience the views were phenomenal. I would rent from them again. I do recommend getting there early they open around 830am they are usually really busy. I would say to reserve your rental a day before or a few days in advance.

Check in to pickup a moped was easy, and dropping off was even easier. They did a good job of giving you information about the mopeds and what they expect from a renter and what you can expect from them. We had no problems on our trip!

This was so much fun! One of the absolute best decisions on this trip. We got to go places on the island we would not have been able to otherwise see with the car rental shortage. Excellent shop with friendly people! I did a walk-up rental of a scooter. It didnt take long, although it was quite busy and I didnt have a reservation. The moped/scooter can fit a pair of shoes and one very small backpack but not much else (like a beach towel) so be prepared. Also, there are not many places to easily lock up the moped at beach parks and lookout spots, so you will need to scout for those places carefully. Great way to see a bit of coastline past Waikiki! Also recommend going up to Punchbowl for the view.

Every time Ive been to Hawaiian Style Rentals (tune-ups; scooters for friends visiting; maintenance, etc..) they have always gone above & beyond with great customer service. My scooter needed a new part last week. I searched online, then decided to call Hawaiian Style. Not only did they order the part immediately for me, they sent me the itemized statement 5 minutes later, and they sent me a message as soon as the part arrived. This was the highlight of our trip to Oahu! Seriously considering buying a moped now! I would recommend an extra layer as protection from the sun, and the wind gets a bit chilly when you’re maxing out at 40mph. I had trouble with the starter/ throttle towards the end of the day, but called and the employee was super clear and walked me through it with ease. Cars are also quite respectful on the road! Highly recommend getting the moped at least for one day!

So Accommodating, staff was super friendly and awesome! We didn’t have a reservation, however the staff did everything they could to get our us all scooters, even during this busy time where everyone is back to vacationing. It was our first time in Hawaii and this was probably some of the most fun we had, taking these scooters out. I would definitely recommend doing this during your visit in Hawaii.

Renting scooters from here was the best choice we made. We were staying on Waikiki Beach for a month. A car would have been so boring and parking would be tough when you went somewhere. The island is very packed with tourists. We basically parked where ever we wanted. We had a blast.

I was charged 60$ for an extra day despite my rental reservations and was told to return my mopped early that morning even though my reservation was not done till 5pm that day. Whats the point of renting and giving different prices before and after you rented? Was annoying to say the least. Company had no problem honoring my rental duration but was going to charge me additional money? No cool.Since renting a car is near to impossible, renting a mopped is kinda the only way to go. Driving around the island is amazing and cant beat the views. Mopped ran great and never had a issue.

My group and I originally rented mopeds for a half day and ended up wanting to come back for more! We booked the insurance which also allowed us to have after hours drop off which was incredibly easy. The staff was awesome, the mopeds were in great condition. Raven and DJ (I think was his name) got us all checked in and made sure we went through the safety information and ride and then sent us on our way! It was so great! Thanks so much guys!

The people here are top notch. I watched them teach scooter novices and they did excellent and took great care of every customer. We enjoyed our scoot coup ride and when we returned we left a bag of quarters in the glove box and they promptly called us to let us know. Great people highly recommend

Really enjoyed cruising around Waikiki in our scoot-coup. Renting it was simple and hassle free! Next time, I think we will convince our friends to rent them as well so we can form our own little scoot-coup gang. It was a great way to see the sights and scoot around town.

We booked our ride through Viatour, so we were a little surprised that we had to stand in line with everyone that didnt have reservations in order to get our bike. That was literally the only hitch! Once we made it to the front of the line the rental process was straightforward and easy.They were incredibly busy, but they took the time to find an upgraded scooter for us at our request.The scooter was in good operating condition, everything worked perfectly. It started right up each and every time with no hesitation, the ride was smooth with no unexpected vibrations, the breaks were in good condition and the turn signals worked perfectly. The scooter had plenty of power and we found ourselves cruising along at 60 MPH before we knew it. (Oops!)They provided maps, helmets, operating instructions and recommendations on where to go.I guess theres quite a problem of scooters being stolen on the island, so they provided a U Lock with instructions on how to use it, and asked us to lock the scooter and take a picture of it to prove it was locked if we ever stopped and left the scooter unattended.Check in was a breeze! They allow for after hours check in. Just lock the bike, take a pic and drop the keys in the lock box. Easy Peasy!Bring rain gear (theres plenty of space to store it under the seat) it saved our bacon!Overall a great experience, and Id recommend them and use them again.Just be patient at check in and maybe get there just a tad early.

Customer service was awesome. I had a moped that died while riding it.I called the number online and the guy walked me through how to diagnose the issue. Come to find out the spark plug underneath the bike popped out. The spark plug popped out 2 more times. When I took it in they fixed it and I was on my way. Again customer service was awesome but the 4 start is just due to the bike having issues.

The staff here are really wonderful, fun, and courteous. I felt they genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. The bicycles were a little old, but better than I expected!

Rented a coupe and thoroughly enjoyed the day driving to punch bowl cemetery and along the coast around diamond head, so much fun! The staff took care of us cheerfully and efficiently even though the store was robbed of most of its computer equipment and tools the night before. Hats off to them for opening and taking care of us. Got my Electric bike for 3 days and the price was very friendly I would said also plus the insurance 10$ a day is very affordable I think. I was biking everydays from Waikiki to KoKo head and Hanauma Bay it only take me 2 hours ish for around trip.The electric bike was helping a lot and the power last for the whole around trip which is nic3. Very professional staff. Everyones super friendly. Especially Kevin help me change my bike tries also Rowdy at the reception is very nice as well. I called about what time I need to drop off my bike and it was Jessie answer the call and he told me about late check out which is very helpful. Highly recommend this store to all my friends for sure. Will come back again if Im in the island

Rented a Scoot Coup in April. Liked it so much that we came back in June and did it again! Super easy, the second time around they realized we were repeat customers and yanked us out of the safety video line and sent us on our way! I can’t describe how much fun these things are, we did Ala Moana for some shopping, then the park across the street. Ended up at the Palace, then hitting up Diamond Head for some Pineapple dessert. Got a discount coupon for our next visit which can’t come soon enough!

This is a must if you want to take some time to explore Oahu at your own pace. I rented the two seater couplet car. This is not a good option for two large people, but on big person with a normal smaller adult is just fine. The issue is turning the stealing mechanism comfortably without hitting the shoulder of the person next to you. That being said, it was a great day.The cars come with a Bluetooth speaker to pair your music while driving. The cars are not for getting on the interstate highways, so make sure you set your navigation devices to avoid the highways. I loved this car because I was able to see Waikiki off the regular tour routes. Do it with a group and have a blast.

It was a hassle free experience. With so much going on in my itenerary, obtaining a mode of transportation was something I didnt have to worry about going thru Hawaiian Style Rentals & sales. It would be better if they offered me a discount code for future trips to Waikiki. Great work fellas.

One of the mirrors was loose and fell off but upon return of the moped there was no additional charge for the damage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait was long initially to pick up the moped, over 1 hr, but we were given great instruction and safety tips once we were ready to go out. The mopeds were a perfect way to get around the island. Would definitely rent from this company again.

I rented a moped and it was a great way to get around Oahu and not to mention affordable. I had never ridden one before, but the staff made me feel comfortable about riding one and were very clear with the instructions. Overall a great experience!!

1st day we went, we didnt make reservation and were sold out, but the staff was awesome and got us booked for a later date. We went today and had the absolute best time! Everyone including Raven, Kevin, etc. Were amazing and super helpful! We definitely want to do this again while we are here. Only item I recommend for the company to implement if they can is a cell phone holder so easier to work GPS especially for new folks like us that get lost easily. My wife and I rented on our honeymoon and rode around the East side of the island on the coast road. It was great! One of our favorite activities we did. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but definitely busy. We booked our rentals in advance and glad we did! Just remember to reapply your sunscreen plenty of times throughout the day and take breaks. The long rides can get tiring after a while so plan accordingly.

If you’re thinking about renting mopads, JUST DO IT. This place was so easy to rent from. The service was fast and they teach you how to ride. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

I would give this 5 stars if we hadn’t waited so long. We had reservations for 9am - 5pm but we had to wait in a very long line that didn’t seem to move. By 10:27am we finally were ready to go. The staff was all very friendly and the mopeds were great! I can’t believe how many people show up without reservations. Unfortunately, because of this it slows down the process of checking people in who have made reservations. If it were up to me, I would require reservations, limit open rentals to later in the day or have two separate lines. I also would have everyone fill out their personal information online prior to checking in to help reduce wait times and streamline the process better. Overall though, we LOVED the mopeds and the staff were great! 🛵♥️

We used Hawaiian Style for two days of biking our kids around Honolulu and surrounding areas, using their “fitness bikes” and a kid trailer. It’s a well-run and thoughtful shop that made bicycle exploration easy, and was able to handle the heavy crowds.

Loved the scooters, the staff even gave us a bluetooth speaker for the ride. Very well organized for safety. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Even with a reservation, we were in line for over an hour. I think they need more staff. There were only 3-4 guys for a line of about 50 people. Besides that, it was a great experience.

Right out of the gate Fedor was super helpful with my purchase of a Buddy 50. He provided valuable tips with a great attitude that I really appreciated. Considering the high level of professionalism I experienced there, I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy from a reputable business here on island. There are plenty of lowballing scammer dealers out there just preying on suckers with bad deals and poor vehicles but Hawaiian Style is not one of them! Thanks guys! 🤙

Staff was friendly and got us on our way quickly for a Scoot Coupe afternoon rental. Their recommendations for stops were spot on, as were their timing estimates. Would definitely recommend as a fun way to tour the city.

Pays to get there early, it’s a wait to check out. Otherwise it’s great. Book way ahead of time because if you wait you can’t find anything. Took our scooter around the whole island. Friendly people and very helpful!
