The front desk staff was super nice and friendly. I only had to fill out one sheet of paper (front and back) as a new customer which was awesome. My dental hygienist was awesome- quick, thorough, and didnt stab my gums. The dentist then came in and checked everything out and I was good to go.The whole thing probably took 30 minutes. As some one who is terrified of the dentist (I picked them because they had the option of nitrous- though I opted out for this visit), it was very clean, calm, and nice atmosphere. Also, they are open all the time so that help with my hectic work schedule.

Ive had two visits in the past 12 months and my experience was awesome both times. From the receptionists to the dental techs, the staff is sincere and caring. It may sound cliche, but they really do go above and beyond because they were so personable. They are some of the best trained in client services Ive ever met in any business. My dentist was also very professional and courteous. The only experience I didnt like was that I felt like a number with the dentist. He came in checked my teeth and then was off to the next client. But Id still give the entire team two thumbs up.

I have been going here for 3 years now and the staff is always very helpful and positive. When you walk in its always nice to see a smile. I never have to wait for long and they have convenient hours for my work schedule. All of my experiences here have been stellar!

Ive only been to the practice two times. The first time I visited I had a very good experience. The dentist and the dental hygienist who saw me were very thorough and courteous. My second, more recent cleaning felt a little rushed and was not as well done. The experience wasnt bad; it was simply not as favorable as my prior visit and certainly could have been better. Im hoping my next visit will be up to par with the first.

Fun and friendly staff the moment you walk in the door. Great communication and reminders of up-coming appointments by phone and text message. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and it was completely painless, didnt know it had been removed until the doctor showed it to me.

Two crowns - Dr. Timothy Inoue provided excellent care. He took the time to make sure that I was comfortable with the procedure and kept me informed every step of the way. The result was better than I expected - always a good thing. I highly recommend Dr. Inoue.

What an awesome dental office! Parking was easy, the office is super convenient and very nice, and the whole check up and cleaning was a breeze. The staff is really competent and friendly, both in person and on the phone. Dr. Mandich was my dentist when he worked downtown, and I was glad to find him again at Ala Moana Dental Care. Im old enough to remember when going to the dentist was something to dread, so its really nice to know that the whole process will be easy and pain free.

This was a very pleasant experience fore me. I needed a cleaning, had just moved to Honolulu, and didnt have a regular dentist. I called (at around 6:30pm) and they were still open and scheduled an exam, x-rays, and cleaning the very next day. They have a plan where if you dont have dental insurance you can pay less than $200 to get all of this service plus another cleaning in six months. And when I was done and I was paying them, they said I get 1/2 off this deal if I paid it all up front. So thats x-rays, an exam, a cleaning, and another cleaning in six months for less than $100. You cant beat that and I am very happy with the dentist who answered all of my questions and the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth. And they validated my parking which was in a garage right above their office!

I havent been to the dentist in a while and I was quite nervous but when I arrived it was very pleasant. The front office was extremely neat/clean and modern. I was handed an ipad to sign in and fill out my information. I was then greeted by Dr. Declan and we proceeded to get my tooth extracted. (as per my wishes) He was so gentle with the novocaine I could hardly feel it. Before I knew it without any visual knowledge he had pulled my tooth without a flinch. I WILL be returning! Thank You Dr. Declan!

My experience with Ala Moana dental was excellent. The staff is friendly, and it is convenient for me because because they open until 8pm, it is hard to find dental clinic that open that late.

Fast, friendly, & gentle cleaning once again from the positive staff at Ala Moana Dental Care.

Deveroux has done good work on my teeth, for many years. The other younger dentists are not so good, they made some (serious) mistakes in diagnosis.Admin and staff is AWFUL - too many untrained and rude. They did crown estimate about 5 times and every time it was wrong or missing something. Finally they provided a number but forgot to check that my insurance does not cover crowns.Another time I came in a few days before my insurance kicked in, I was there just for 65$ cleaning, and they treated me extremely rudely.One time I was there to take X-rays and the X-ray tech was some young lady covered with tattoos, and she didnt even look at me, did not even talk with me, and took wrong X-rays. She missed the part that was the problem, all the way in the corner. I politely reminded her. She just gave me dirty looks, never said a word, and went somewhere, then told me to shut up and that X-ray is ok. It wasnt. I could see it on the screen. At that point I was very frustrated and I told her in front of everyone that I do now wish to ever see her again. The response from the manager? I had appointment at 8am to see Dr. Deveroux and she called me at 7:30am to tell me that she is cancelling my patient status. Dr. Deveroux did see me for like 5 minutes and he said that he does not have the time to train his staff anymore bc there are too many of them.

I am actually reviewing Dr Mandich as he was my dentist. I had a great experience at Ala Moana Dental. I had an excruciating painful toothache and I was trying to hold off until Monday so I could go to a Dentist close to where I live (Laie, North Shore). However the pain persisted and I found Ala Moana Dental open on Sunday and made the long drive downtown. They diagnosed the problem quickly and got to work. My root canal however, was not straightforward and I gave Dr Mandich quite the workout, but he was definitely up for the task. He explained every step so I knew what was happening, he consistently asked if I was comfortable, and when things started to look like I would need to be referred to an Endodontist he said he would give it one more go. He fixed the problem with such professionalism and I was 100% pain free. Even when the anesthetic wore off I had absolutely no pain at all. I was so impressed and drove an hour home in stark contrast to how I drove into town. This was an amazing experience and I absolutely loathe going to the Dentist. Thank you so much Dr Mandich and the team at Ala Moana Dental Care. I will make the drive into town for such wonderful service anytime. Cheers
