He is always professional, attentive to what I want, and adds in his professional expertise to what he thinks would look best when Im describing the look Im going for. His attention to detail is insane and every time I go in to get a trim, I come out feeling brand new. Since moving to Oahu, it was a different transition to find a new barber. Fortunately I was able to find Xavier. Ive been with him for about 2 and a half years and he never disappoints. Hes very knowledgeable and will help you out to the right cut.

The shop itself has a classic old-school vibe to it, with its decor and location.Charles K. has been phenomenal, using his many skills and tools to create a stunning look each time. My son enjoys coming here and even he with his Gen Z perspective admits how much he likes the cut and look.Charles takes his time and gives his very best effort each step of the way, and clearly takes pride with his craft. He knows what he’s doing and it’s so nice to not have to worry about anything and just relax during the cut. He also makes booking each appointment so easy and is knowledgeable about various hair products. It’s a monthly ritual now to come here—so glad we found this place!

I don’t want bring up name but I was booked at 11:45 yesterday August 11,2021. This barber needs more training. The other barbers doesn’t even care to guide or assist him. I was asking for the head of the shop but he wasn’t around.To cut the story short, after I was done with this shop, I went to another shop to fix it.

Since moving to Oahu I have had a hard time finding the right barber, we all know it’s hard. Found Vintage on “top Barbershop’s near me” on google and I wasn’t let down. Made an appointment with Charles K, and now he’s the only barber my family go’s to now. He even remembered me, and my nephew and our styles after 1 visit and not seeing him for about a month. This shops 10/10 🤙🏼 Clean, professional, kid friendly and sells good hair products in house.

Xavier did a great job! He asked how I wanted my hair styled and did everything as promised. I have two “giddy giddys” (colics), which makes part of my hair stick out awkwardly. He cut and styled my hair to prevent that from happening. Xavier offered great suggestions to make my hair look great and was quick and to the point. He even recommended excellent hair products based on the look and shine that wanted. Overall, Xavier did an excellent job!

Got my first cut here yesterday and I cant say enough good things about the place. My barber, Xavier, got started on my cut right on time and had me out of the chair within an hour rocking a fresh fade and lined up beard. The barbers definitely pay attention to detail here and take the time to lay your chair back and ensure you get a good clean shave. Great atmosphere and competitive prices when comparing with other shops in town. Definitely my new go and I highly recommend checking it out.

This place is awesome! Got my cut from Aaron, he did an incredible job. I’ve never had such a good fade. I don’t know tons about hair, but he was really good at helping me figure out what I wanted and described to me what he was going to do. Looked even better than I was anticipating, my wife was super pleased.Also, great guy to chill and talk with! Had a good time. But if that’s not your thing you can just sit and they’ll cut your hair with little conversation. Highly highly recommend!There is metered parking right outside, but if that’s full there’s paid parking across the street that’s easy to access ($6 an hour).

Usually I am picky about where to cut my hair and how to cut it but this is my 2nd time coming to Vintage to get the same Mid-fade haircut. I really enjoyed cutting my hair here, they are friendly, clean, on time, very professional, very polite and very refreshing. Aaron and the others are skilled and the customer service is on point! It’s Hard nowadays to find good professional haircutters. Make sure to make your appointments ahead of time as some of the long time cutters get booked up quick. The online booking system is very quick and I like the reminders they give you so you don’t forget about the appointment.

Xavier has been the only barber to cut my hair for the past two years (I’ve even put off a haircut an extra week since he was booked solid) and all I get are compliments on how great it looks! From the time I have spent in Vintage, it’s easy to see how skilled and meticulous all the barbers are with their craft. There’s a great vibe with everyone here and it’s a very relaxed place to get your haircut. Great barbershop! I’ve been several times. I normal go to Aron but needed a hair cut and he was booked up so I decided to go to Xavier. Could not have been more happy with the out come. If you need a good haircut I recommend either of them.

I’ve never been to any barber shops like Vintage in the past so this was a life-changing moment to be honest. I came out looking brand new, much younger and sophisticated looking. I still remember all my co-workers who complimented on my hairstyle back then and still doing so now (on ZOOM).Fast forward to the present: I have been going to barber, Aaron Fune for all my cuts. He’s been my go-to for all of my hair needs and I’m able to talk to him about my concerns openly. I think that’s what makes Vintage so special - you develop a personal connection to these barbers that they stop being your barbers and become your friends that you can talk to about anything. The experience each time has made it very worthwhile and I drive out from Ewa Beach to town for this experience. Great job, Vintage!

Its my first time coming to Vintage Barbershop, and the experience was amazing! I had Leo as my barber/hairstylist, I got a mid skin-fade with a little touch up on top. Charles Kaukeano has been my barber for about a year now. I can’t go to anyone else. He knows exactly what I like and even in quarantine he got his safety certification and never left me without a barber. High Skin Fades are a go to for me and they always come out fresh and clean. Awesome locally owned barbershop. Mainly popular with men, do great buzz cuts, line ups, parts, beards, etc. Most seem to have their regular hairstylist but I often call and take whose available and have never been disappointed. Id recommend always calling ahead, not a walk in place, and cuts will run you about $36 before tip so while its not the cheapest I think its justified by knowing youll always get a quality cut. Decent lineup of products, sports on TV and beer available. Parking is tough downtown but the municipal parking is about a two minute walk and is fairly cheap (maybe $1-2)

I have been going to Mojos for well over 2 years now. I have seen many Barbers come and go. What made me want to write a review now after all my times, is my newest barber that I have switched to. I have gotten my last 5 cuts from her, and she is nothing but exceptional. Sarah Rorie, is very skillful in what she does, and you can tell that this is something that she enjoys doing. My cuts have never been crooked, or a stray hair here and there. She makes sure that every customer gets her best. If you are gonna stop by, or you are thinking of giving another barber a try, Sarah Rorie is definitely no let down.
