They raised their prices by 120% and the barbers play with the hair for about an additional 10 minutes to help justify the huge price increase. Mens haircuts use to take 10 minutes....now they stretch it out to 20 minutes. Note: theres no hair shampooing involved. Just a simple snipping!

Went here today for a haircut. I feel like I was subjected to a weed wacker instead of a barber. I never had someone cut my hair and switch guards so many times or use the hair dryer once every 5 minutes on my dry hair.AVOID this place.

Like this place, many employees are from the old Thoms Barber Shop in Ala Moana. Prices have gone up, I just cut today for $18+ tax.

I worked at Ala Moana mall for 7 years and got my hair cut conveniently at Thoms. Even though I work elsewhere now, I still make it out every 4-6 weeks to get my hair cut there. Its a new location but the same friendly familiar faces and consistent haircut! The place is easy to find. If you are street level mauka outside of Aldo / Tricked-out wireless, look across Kona street and you can see the bright yellow trimmed building. I hope you, like me, keep on supporting this fine long-time local favorite.

Quick and easy place to get a mans haircut at a reasonable price.Quan Tran is the barber I prefer and has cut my hair for years. He does a great job and is very personable.This is a new location opened by the owner of Thoms Barbershop that used to be in Ala Moana Center. Although no longer in the mall, they are on a side street connected to the mall and very easy to get to. Even if you plan on just shopping in the mall, all you need to do is cross Kona street and bam, you are there.Not much has changed, just the location. Waits are not long if there is a line, but you can always make an appointment if you have a preferred barber.The location is a brighter shop with windows that allow lots of natural light unlike the old location that was next to the parking garage.Forget those chain barbers, you will get a better cut here at a good price. Those new trendy barbershops are way to expensive. Unless you are going for some sort of a fashion model look, keep it real and get cut here.
