The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Scott was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu and also very kind. He gave us his honest views of what he thought was good and what he would recommend for us. My wife and I shared 4 appetizers and a dessert. Everything we had was delicious. Mahalo for a great dinner!
Wow. Just wow. This was an awesome dining experience. Amazing cuisine, fabulous service, beautiful atmosphere - 3660 on the Rise is truly a five star experience.
Excellent food...ambience...service!!! Our server...sorry but didnt get his name...was great!!! We had the ahi katsu, crab cake, and escargot temptations...all were terrific. For dinner I had the Chinese steamed opah...very well done...chef let the fish star front and center. Others in our party had the lamb chops, miso butter fish, steak (perfectly med rare), chicken, fresh catch (mahimahi), and NZ salmon...everyone seemed 100% pleased with their selections. We also had dessert...bread pudding and 4 or 5 others...all plates were clean by the end of the night. A definite 5 star night!!! We will be back!!!
Friendly staff and most helpful. The food was great as well. Reason for not 5 stars was lack of choices for food and wine lists. They are not working on their normal menu due to the covid-19 situation obviously and for which the reason for the 4 star vs 5 star rating. Everything we did choose (based on a availability) was delicious. Will go again as soon as they get back to their normal operations.
Wonderful food, great service!! We love this place!
Service is always exceptional on a consistent basis. Food is top notch, especially the ahi katsu — a favorite. Creme brûlée is also a favorite. Personally, I prefer the appetizers to the main dishes. There’s no shame in doing all appetizers with drinks and desserts to follow, folks. Parking is easy too.
Dining room has been moved to a banquet room with spacious distancing of tables. Impeccable service. Menu offered is smaller than pre-Covid but the faves, Spanish octopus, duck breast and leg confit, sesame tuna are still there and outstanding. Today we had the specials garlic mushroom snails in puff pastry and a prime rib to die for.
Really liked it. Thanks.
The food was very good hands down. the service was pleasant and very attentive. the only issue i had was that the restaurant is 28-years-old and still lacks a point-of-sale system from when I was here 20 years ago. they use a 10-key calculator to print out the checks. I went with another couple recently and we requested separate checks. the way they subtracted everything on the 10-key calculator looked like scribble and nothing was itemized. it was very confusing and none of staff offered to help us when we expressed we couldnt read the receipt. it isnt and shouldnt be an issue in this day and age (year 2020) when asking for a digital receipt or separating/itemizing receipts. it may not be part of the infrastructure to install a point-of-sale system but allowing your guests to see what theyre paying for is flat out fair. you dont give your guests a 10-key calculator print out of the receipt without explaining what theyre paying for. i wont be returning to this restaurant because I feel that the owners are not thinking about the longevity of their footprint. In this day and age, younger people who are making more income like to enjoy fancy meals but are not ashamed to split the bill. its a different generation and the owners dont understand the change in culture or technology. I want to go out with my friends to have dinner but wont be picking up a $600 tab just because the staff doesnt want to assist us with itemizing the bill due to a lack of a point-of-sales system. Very disappointed because this restaurant had a lot of potential to earn a solid rating from me.
Awesome service. Great example of the aloha spirit.
A diamond in the rough..!!! We celebrated my inlaws birthday here.. kids menu is available. They also have a bar that mostly serves fine wine.. they validate parking.. which is nice..Our orders differed from each family member.. none of us ordered the same dish on the menu.. so we got to try almost half of their main course menu..And EVERYTHING WAS VERY INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS.. steak, duck, salmon, fried chicken, the appetizers, etc were all very tasty. Presentation was very creative!! Portions seemed pretty fair to me.. just enough to get you full.. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK..!!!
3660 On the Rise is a favorite of our office. We have had two Christmas parties here. Food is delicious and service is top notch. Their butterfish is awesome, crab cakes are delicious and the mile high Waialae pie is to die for. Will definitely be returning.
Amazing food and the staff are very friendly but professional. The food that comes out always makes your mouth water. It so good you dont want to leave anything on your plate.
Ahi Katsu is always good.
Nice ambience and good for conversation. Casual fine dining. Try the crabcakes. Yummy! Nice seafood selection and awesome rack of lamb. Parking is free but very tight. Go with a small car.Pay parking next door in an open lot. I believe its Diamond parking.
Took my wife there for a nice dinner, so we dressed up...wore shoes. Atmosphere was nice, food good but priced a lil high cause they set up as a higher end restaurant. Service was good, but the servers need training for such a set up. Parking and location was good. Overall good.
Amazing quality, great service!
The crab cakes and won ton lacked a bit of taste (pasta in the sauce that came with the won ton was delicious though!). However, my duck dish was delicious! Our waiter (older Asian American male) was awesome too! Very friendly and thorough!
Went there for a banquet dinner and I did not think the food was that good. I felt like it lacked flavor and that the pasta salad options were very vinegary. The atmosphere was good but it could have had more substance in the ballroom and the selection could have been wider or better quality food in the selection. I also was highly disappointed in the dessert. I do believe that the service was very quick and that the location was very private. It was not easy to find the banquet halls in relationship to the restaurant.
Our dining experience was flawless, from the service, appetizers, entree, and dessert. The Maine lobster wontons are excellent with the hint of truffles. The stuffed tomato salad is wonderful. I had the a rare seared wild salmon which was delicious. My wife had the surf and turf which was beyond excellent, melding of delicate flavors. Cant wait to go back!
Great service, attentive, but not overly. Everything about the food was exceptional!
Loved my dinner here last week. And Eric is the best waiter. Thank you Eric!!!
Delicious food, sophisticated menu, great service and good pricing. Definitely place to dine when in Honolulu.
Awesome service, really good food too!
The food and service are excellent. The decor is modern and conducive to both group and intimate dining. I shared the 360 medley with my friend and it was more than enough food to go around. A perfect place to plan a perfect evening.
Been going here for decades. Reasonable prices and excellent service from the time you enter the door.
Though Ive never enjoyed the restuarant, the banquet services are AWESOME. Servers are friendly, attentive, and helpful. The prime rib and roast pork are soooooo ono.
The lamb was great and the litchi martini is incredible. Too bad the Maine Lobster appetizer had Salty Sea we put on it. What a waste of great cold water lobster.
Ahi Katsu is the best. Love this place.
Food was really bland. Go to a cheaper, better restaurant. I recommend Nicos Pier 38.
3660 On The Rise is always good. We had steamed opakapaka that was amazing also the butter fish which was good too.Great service!
Salad was fresh, drinks were really good, appetizers were fantastic, catch of the day was good. Great service and atmosphere. I will go again.
Had a great dinner at our Rotary Club change of leadership meeting. Very good variety of food on the buffet. Fantastic dessert.
From start to finish. Super ono!
I was there for a business event on Wednesday night, and the buffet was pretty good. The staff was excellent with great service.
Awesome food and service. That you Eric. Great service!
Our first visit there and we were pleased on every point. No views, but beautifully decorated, efficient and friendly greeting at the entrance. Great service -- enough attention, but nothing that interfered with our meal. Food was superb. Lamb chops, butter fish, fresh catch and beef tenderloin were ordered at our table. Everything was done to perfection, beautifully presented and no one had left overs -- great portions but not over done. And the accompaniments were so well integrated, that you did not want more food -- each plate was perfectly balanced for taste, portions and presentation. It was a birthday celebration so we did opt for some sorbet, but they also offered a beautiful crème brule and some short cake among other desserts -- I have confidence that they would have all tasted great. Reservations recommended. Parking underneath the building (validated). Clean, convenient rest rooms.
Just had a fabulous meal tonight at 3660 On the Rise. I had the butterfish and my husband had the opah. Wow, both were so tender and flavorful. Great service and validated parking. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We had my daughters first birthday here on a Sunday for lunch. The food was phenomenal. Everyone raved about it. The room is perfect for a party of 100 or so and even has space for vendors. The only issue was that the parking attendant didnt show up as planned so we had a lot of issues getting into the garage. Luckily the attendant finally showed up right before the guests arrived. Everything else went really smoothly. Planning was easy with Cheryl and the staff were all really helpful and attentive.
Great food with innovative twists. Service is impeccable and the parking is plentiful.
Superb service and delicious food coupled with a well priced menu. Creative wine list too ! Not noisy either 😁
We attended our 40th high school reunion in their banquet hall. It was beautiful, good views of the mountains, polite & professional staff. An excellent venue!
Pros: Chef continues to create wonderful dishes. The serving staff are excellent.Cons: Hostess not feeling warm nor welcoming, and took a bit longer to greet us despite there being no one in front of us. Restaurant was exceptionally noisy tonight and left us unable to hold a conversation.
Good attentive service. Quality ingredients and great presentation.
Great food. Not pretentious, just straight forward delicious meals. Service also very attentive.
Also ordered the Fire Roasted Long Island Duck Breast which included 2 Bao buns and side of starch. We chose white rice. The Duck Meat was excellent; a few crispy skinned portions with a savory Yuzu sauce. Yum! For entree, I ordered the Pan Seared Masago Arare Salmon which included mash potatoes and veggies; squash, asparagus, onions. It was all so rich and flavorful! Really beautiful presentation!
We attended the Tamuras Holiday event, which we have attended many times before. The food typically runs out early so we made sure this year to hit that first. 3660 should be ashamed at what was offered. Our group has decided not to attend in the future if it is at 3660. Perhaps the restaurant is better.
Food-wise, my only criticism was 1 piece of shell in the crab Pasta and Cheese. My much large issue was with the overall feel of the restaurant. The decor was painfully dated and the furniture was so worn that it looked dirty and poorly cared for. The staff was also a mess. The hostess couldnt be bothered to make eye contact, meanwhile the servers appeared so disheveled I wasnt sure if I needed to leave the left-overs for them. They cared little with looking clean, or at least keeping their shirts neatly tucked. Personally our server was happy, attentive, helpful and informative, but he appeared like his garage band just fired him and he was falling on some hard times with his sloppy shirt that was misfitting. I thought this place was a high-end, low key, quaint spot to share memories with close friends and family. On the contrary, I found it had little privacy between tables and had an ambiance of a YardHouse with less beer and more pop/country music playing in the background. I cant stress enough though that I had no complaints of the food in our $40+ dishes, but the overall feel and appearance made it less special for any occasions.
This is sort of a glorified neighborhood restaurant with really good food, friendly service, and a comfortable and roomy space. the atmosphere is upbeat -- everyone seems happy and satisfied -- and the meal is nicely paced for a relaxed dinner with many nice asian touches. it is a taxi-ride from anywhere you might stay (unless with relatives).
Great pupus. Great drinks. Cool atmosphere in the bar area.
Good as always. My familys go to place for special occasion gatherings
Didnt care for the catered food at all...prime rib was too rare, fish was dry, chicken was dry. The best thing was the roasted potatoes.
Chinese steamed fish was excellent. Service was very good. The Caesar salad, which is supposed to be a specialty of the house, was disappointing.
Good good and good service. Love the ahi katsu. Not the place if you are looking for huge quantity but quality is excellent.
Been here many times. The food and service is always terrific.
A great dining experience with delectable food. Service was splendid an enjoyable place to eat.
Awesome service and awesome food!!! Byron and the gang totally take care of you!!! Salmon tataki and ahi katsu are the best!!!
We just celebrated our 24th anniversary here. The service was really good and the food was great!
Great dinner (steak and duck) wine and dessert as well as service.
Its the very best and Ron is the best of the best!!! We have most of our family celebrations there and will continue for as long as they will have us.
This place has risen to our favorite place to eat! We received a gift card and couldnt be happier with the food and service. We think its better than Roys and will travel from Ewa no problem. Thank you Eric for making our dining experience top notch. Actually the whole staff is fun, helpful and professional. I cant begin to recommend any particular dish as everything was perfectly cooked, seasoned and oh so yummy! Ive already referred 4 other couples and 2 will be attending the Easter brunch. I hope to be a monthly regular!
Wonderful food. Excellent service.
Fabulous food and very good service.
Great staff and delicious food!
Fabulous service, awesome food and free parking. I am very picking about lamb, but this one was the best I ever had. Not gamey and very tasty. Their shared ahi, escargot and butterfish was also my favorite. I dont eat butterfish because of the bones, but this one was boneless, soft and tasteful.
Great restaurant. They have amazing special occasion buffets too.
Food is excellent. Service is top notch.
Great service. Awesome food.
Food, wine and waiter were all excellent.
Amazing place. Very well taken care of
Good food. Parking tight.
Some bobbles in the service at first, but ended up great!
Great food and service!
The food was 5 star but the chair made my back hurt.
Great foodExcellent service by Ronald
Nice place. Butterfish is fantastic!
Food and general service was nice. Salad ran out.
Personally I dont feel the food was worth the price. The chicken was a bit dry, even with the sauce
Amazing food, and excellent service!
Attended a wonderful paina, everything was just right. Mahalo!
Outstanding food and staff.
Excellent food and service
The food and service was pretty good
Great food and nice atmosphere.
Amazing food and service here! Unique and interesting combinations!
This place has the best taro rolls ever!
Way too expensive for the portion of the food. Great taste thouh.
Great food AND attentive service
Expensive as heck but some darn good food and service. The lighting is intimate and the place was relatively quiet when we went.
Great food and service
The Scottish salmon is delicious.
Great steak and Hawaiian cuisine
Horrible service. The food we got was cold
