My first experience was amazing, except the fact that she nicked me with what the drill on my fingers multiple times. I asked Susan please do not drill too much on my nails because I do not want them to become too thin, of course you didnt listen to me so the result was me ending up losing part of my nail. I do not recommend anybody to go back to that place I paid $170 for a service that was horrible I spend so much money and the nail polish which was gel started to peel off my nails on my toes after 2 days and the pictures below will show you what Im talkin about. And the Blue Polish I have on my nails is from my old nail lady who did the best that she could to fix my weak nails but as you can see I lost half of a fingernail on my right ring finger

Kelly was caring & knew her work. I ended up going simple since what I originally wanted involved a lot of work. Michael did my fill-in. Im in aw!They did my 10yr old son manicure & deluxe pedicure & were caring as well. I love how each person has a name tag.Place was super clean! This is my 2nd time coming back to this business. I didnt have a good experience the 1st time, but was persuaded to go back, because of a friend, the 2nd time.I should have stuck with my instinct, because the 1st time I visited, I had a rude, impatient staff member. This time, I had a staff member who cut into my toe, because she was rushing to do a simple pedicure.When I arrived, they also took 3 people that arrived after me. Now, maybe they had appointments and maybe since I was only requesting a basic manicure and pedicure, I feel like I was not put 1st.But, I feel a customer is a customer, regardless of how much they spend.And... if I had a good experience at your business, I would have tipped appropriately and well & become a regular customer. Needless to say, will not be back at this business, to give it 3 strikes.**Note to the owners; Treat all customers the same and that will guarantee you future customers and devotion for a successful business.

Don’t even thinking about getting your nails done at this place. Bad customer service, over priced and works fast to get the next client to make money only. Did my nails and a week later (Sunday to Sunday) already had 4 nails popped of and 2 more lifting. I called to to see if they will fix then they told me I have to pay to get them done. How you pay 45.00 for a full set for only a week?

I walked in to get a pedicure. The gentleman at the door was very nice and i was brought back relatively quick. That was the best part of the service. I get a regular pedicure which i get every two weeks and have been for roughly about 10 years. The lady was done with my pedicure in less than 5 mins. There was no massage or lotion rubbed on your legs and as far as cutting the cuticles that didnt happen either. When the lady was finished i was shocked but i thought ok maybe their basic pedicure is cheaper since you dont get everything that every other place offers. NOOO my pedicure was 32 dollars just like any other place i have been too. I typically dont do reviews but i was so mad that i wasted my money on this that i didnt even leave the parking lot before completing this review. I definitely wouldnt waste your time or money for this place unless you like paying more for a lot less.

Modern Nails and Spa OMG...Long time customer of Modern Nails. After moving to Miami from Hollywood I travel to modern nails because it’s hassle free and efficient. it’s a very professional nice and friendly environment. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and works as a team. I usually go to see Samurai however he was not in one day and I had to see someone else. My nails were cut down and could not be altered to my desired shape and nail polish was sloppy.I left very upset and disappointed because in the past I’ve have always been satisfied. Long story short, the next day I called to tell them about my experience and that I wanted to come back so that they could see them. I really didn’t want to complain but I thought you know what, I’m a loyal customer and I really like this place. Long story short I spoke to someone and she said come back today so that I can see them. She took them off and did another full set for the inconvenience. Still a long time customer.

Exceptional service every time I go and get my nails done. Ive been going to this nail salon for a few years now and they never disappoint. To tell you I make the 45 Min drive every other week from Miami with no hesitation because it is worth it. My nails always come out on point and lasts so long no cheap powder or products used here. Macy is my go to if shes not available Amy is also great. I think everyone they hire does a spectacular job and staff is always welcoming & friendly. I never feel rushed even at times when I just pop up without an appointment they attend me the same way with very little to no wait time. There salon/spa is always neat and clean which is a big plus for me because most Miami salons are dirty, filthy, unorganized and so on lol. I recommend and refer everyone & anyone here. I feel like they overcharged me because it was my first time and I couldnt find any posted sign on any of their walls. The nail technician Taylor rushed through my overlay and pedi because she was backed up and had to get to her next client. She messed up my design and didnt fix it. It wasnt the best experience and I wont be back

I have been a client here since i was 13 years old I am 34 now! Will not go anywhere else! The staff is amazing and they always do a great job! They greet you by your name and are always very kind and professional! If ever you are not happy with the outcome they do their very best to fix it! They are honest and up front about what they are capable of executing and what they can’t! Honest people! Cookie is my go to girl! For an amazing Pedicure go see John! With COVID i wasn’t sure about getting back in the salons, but the environment is clean and they take all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe! Definitely best of the best!!!!

I’ve been a dedicated customer for 7 years but after my experience yesterday, I will take my business somewhere else.Over the years, I’ve had my nails done by Macy and Martin. No complaints. In fact, They were my reasons of returning. After they’re departure from the company, it wasn’t the same. I had my nails done twice since. The first one my nails broke in two days because it poorly built (thin acrylic). But yesterday experience, is the WORST! I had my pedi and mani done by Susan. In the front of Susan, I’ve asked the gentleman in the front I wanted a gel full set mani and regular pedi. I’ve repeatedly said it with her reassurance of understanding.I was distracted by a phone call that I wasn’t paying attention when she was doing my pedi. I was shocked by the total bill. When I asked why, I was told by the gentleman that Susan said I wanted to gel pedi. She walked up to us raising her voice insisting I did when I know I haven’t. She got mad, slammed the pen, and with an attitude asked me to come in the back she will remove the gel. I had no problem because I love the massage chairs. When we went in the back she spoke loudly to her colleagues about me and the situation, everyone was staring at me as she continued to speak in their language. I was embarrassed. She continued to bashed me. And of course, I told her “you can’t try fix your mistake and speak of me”. She then “accidentally” stick my toe. I walked in the front paid and told the gentleman (btw his name is Cam), I won’t be returning.Susan is a exceedingly Unprofessional and had a terrible attitude. The lack of customer service is deplorable.

I did not ask before how much everything was because I sure know gel pedicure and set of nails would not cost me $100. The guy overcharged me and I expected the person at the Register to say something instead he goes with it but he seems in disbelief that it cost me $100. My nails didnt last a week and half and one nail popped off. Would not recommend.

Nice setting inside but a bit pricy I have never paid $35 for regular polish acrylics normally that’s gel polish price. They charge extra for unnecessary things. So I didn’t end up getting the design that I originally wanted because it was out of budget. The nails could have been painted more neat but overall my nails came out decent.

I’ve been using Taylor for 5 years now she excellent. Only concern I have is my 8 years old daughter always has to get a service when I bring her along. Which is not fair I mean I understand the whole COVID thing but it’s no like the place is not big for social distancing. Besides when someone is getting there upper lip done or drinking a drink how protected are you from COVID?

My first time here. The staff was nice, they have a good amount of spa chairs. I may have gone at the right time (3ish on a Saturday)because I didnt have to wait at all. I like to get overlays on my big toes and the guy did an awesome job, as well on my acrylic nails. Im not much of a design on the nails person but I was definitely pleased with my services and I will be back!!

My favorite nail salon! This is not the closest one to my house but I left the one I’ve been going to for years to continue returning to modern nails. I have had different techs do my nails and they all do a great job. It’s clean they’re friendly and organized and very nicely decorated.

When I entered the place with my son one of the workers disrespected my in such a bad way then she gave me a nasty attitude and told me not to ever bring my son there ever again. Then she told me I couldn’t do my eyebrows there. That’s not how you treat customers there is no respect in this place.i highly recommended for everyone to go to YT FAMOUS NAILS I went there after and my son and I were treated like gold they gave my son water and chips the service was amazing clean and respectable. Model nails they need new employees and they need to learn how to respect people’s children.

I see alot of mixed reviews for this nail salon but Ive been coming here for years and I love it. My Nail Tech, Macy is Amazing!! Im very particular about who does my nails but she has yet to fail me. I love how she sometimes pulls me out of my comfort zone and encourages me to try new styles that I end up loving! Regarding price, I dont think its expensive but then again, you get what you pay for. I like for my nails to be gel, long, and Im all for gemstones! So my nails are a little pricey but a standard gel full set starts at like $28.00 dollars. Their Pedicures are good.. the spa area is nice, well designed and clean. The massage chairs are comfortable and really add to the experience. They offer an array of services... all sorts of different combos for manis and pedis.. they offer waxing services, lashes and they recently added threading, which has become my favorite method for cleaning up my eyebrows!. Coming here, I know I get to pamper myself and I will leave happy.

The place is very modern and looks very pretty but the service is horrible.. I took my daughter for a service and there was nobody at the door to greet us .. the girl that came to ask what do we need was very shy and seen to not understand what we wanted .. direct me and my daughter to follow an employee that speak minimal English and had to call another person to help with what we needed .. my daughter got a cut in one of her fingers due to the rush of the service .. on top of that the service was expensive ...never going back .. after this first visit

My experience was amazing today. I was a walk in and waited for about 20 minutes for a pedicure, eyelashes and brow wax. My tech always asked my preferences, took her time but was still efficient and always checked to make sure I liked the results. She even gave recommendations and instructions on my lashes (lash virgin). I always come here when Im in town and Ive never had a bad experience although it is heavily based on the tech and customer service.

Got my nails done here on Friday for the first time. I saw them spray down everything with alcohol before being used. They make you wash your hands before and have little prepackaged zip locks with the nail files, buffer, etc to use for the same person and then hand it down to the person doing the pedicure. Macy did my manicure, I loved them. They came out super clean, I’m usually the annoying person who points out little mistakes on my nails but she even saw a little fuzz on my pinky and fixed it all over again. Candy did my toes. She removed every little piece of skin and shaped my toes perfectly. Nail color was super cute, they have many options to choose from. I was really happy with how everything came out and overall how clean everything was. Will definitely be back.

My hair stylist nails are always on point so I asked her where she got her nails done and finally decided to leave the comfort of the nail salon I was familiar with .... Best decision ever! Macy was amazing. Im so in love with my nails. She is a master of her trade. Artistic and open to anything. There was no waiting! A cute little area in the front thats sells jewelry and all kinds of accessories to go with a fresh new set! The whole salon aesthetically was beautiful and huge! I immediately fell in love! Cant wait to go back!

Great customer service, love my nails. Gel mani pedi during the week was $48 (I do not think they charge different for the weekend). So many regular customers there, that shows the quality of the establishment, relationships!!

The only reason I dont give the place 5 stars is because I dont care for the personality of the owner.Also, they stopped serving wine with the pedicure (as cheap as it was).The positive side of this salon are the nail techs. Theyre all nice and they do a good job. The owner must pay them well because I would have a tough time working with a personality like that (maybe its just me).

I absolutely love modern nails! I’ve been coming here since I was 12 years old & I’m now 19. I come every 2 weeks for my regular mani pedi, eyebrow waxing, & lash fill ins & not once have they failed my satisfaction they’re also flexible, accommodating, & overall fairly patient to children & adults not to mention the prices are soo affordable - personally, I think it’s a steal compared to the quality of work I’m always pleased with the aftermath & not once have been disappointed. The staff are also very nice & polite & they’ll do what they can to accommodate you as far as assigning you to someone you’ve specifically requested. If you need a place that’s affordable, great quality, & welcoming - highly recommend ♥︎

My very first time here and it was amazing !!! I saw Taylor right from the start and I showed her what I wanted and she did it exactly ! She was fast and super nice and friendly. The spa was very clean, the ambiance was very peaceful and everyone was very nice . The massage chairs were also awesome ! My husband also went and received a pedicure and he was very impressed with how clean and peaceful everything was ! Definitely recommend and definitely will be going there again !! :)

Had my my nails done a few weeks back and had the dip powder done with tips. The girl basically refused to glue my nail to the tips leaving and awful gap and made the nails.so thick and really looked horrible on my hands. I will never go back.

I am traveling the country, currently, and really needed my nails done today... I had a busy day and most places were closing. Modern Nails took me in right away, and were SO accommodating. Hannah did my nails, and I am extremely picky about my nails. She was quick, served me wine the whole time, and made my satisfaction her number one priority. I am in MANY nail salons because I travel full-time, and this trip was such a great experience. I had a fill-in and gel polish, and a gel polish deluxe pedicure. They even threaded my brows for me. Hannahs sister did my brows. I am going back in 2 days for a facial, brow tint, and eyelash extensions. They are so sweet and attentive. Hannah is so so sweet, she pays attention to detail, and she truly wants to do a great job and make her clients happy. I highly recommend her. Next trip, I will be doing the dip powder, which has become my new favorite, but a lot of places still dont offer it. Modern does. Everything from dip powder to facials, Hannah and the rest of the sweet staff at Modern will take great care of you.

The place was friendly and inviting. My techs were not very approachable at first but realized my joyous personality and became warmer.I like it...my first time but definitely will go back again.

I got my nails done there 4 days ago exactly. The young lady who did them was very sweet. It was my first time there and I got a clear full set with a clear gel on top. The day after it began to lift. I live 30 minutes from the area and had work during the hours of their business operation. Fast forward to today, it’s been 4 days and they look absolutely terrible. I’ve never had an issue where it lifted and looked like that, I also don’t do anything heavy duty with my hands, when I called the gentleman said I could come in and said it’s almost been a week so just to come in and he’d check them out. Unfortunelty if that’s the response, I’m not interested in driving all the way back, just to be told there’s nothing that can be done since it’s been almost a week. In customer service it’s just nice to make the person feel welcomed and comfortable. A simple “I’m so sorry to hear that, come in and let’s see what we can do for you” would have made me rush there right away. But now I’d rather pay someone to redo them all together else where.

Been going to this salon for a long time. They have very skilled techs that do amazing artwork. The salon is spacious but comfortable.

This nail salon is perfectly fine if you want simple regular nails but do not ever come here if you want any kind of design or specific look. I brought in a picture of a simple drip design on Long oval nails. I originally wanted just regular nail polish full set acrylics. I showed the girl the picture she quoted me $42 for the nail shape and the design which was a little high in my opinion but I was doing the drip on each nail so it made sense she agreed I agreed. I do want to say that I have not only had this design done at other Salons successfully but I have done it myself at home on family members its really not that hard of a design. She shapes my nails for the acrylics perfectly fine does a great job Im not going to complain about that. I open the photo put it down next to her so that she can look at it while shes painting she does the first nail and its horrible it looks nothing like the photo its like brush Strokes its sloppy Im not happy about it. I try to politely point out the differences in the photos and say hey like this needs to be cleaner lines Etc. She does the next nail its slightly better but still bad still not like the photo so I say okay is there someone else who can do this design for me. I didnt want to be rude but I am paying good money and this is for an event so if shes not able to its a struggle for her maybe someone else can. She says to me no its just because its its not gel paint its regular paint so it dries too quickly I cant do the design. Anyone else would do it the same way. She does another nail again slightly better still not like the photo so Im getting frustrated at this point I pull over the receptionist I ask if theres someone else who can do the design for me I show her the photo I showed her the pinky which is just horrible I show her the design it looks nothing like it she insists again that its because its not gel paint so at this point Im like okay if I upgrade and pay more for the gel paint can you guarantee you can do this design for me. The nail technician is very frustrated at this point and says if you do the gel it can get done but Im not going to do it for you Ive wasted my time. So she starts to speak to the other technicians around me in another language you know letting them know whats going on Im assuming probably saying some not-so-nice things about me and she pulls over the nail technician next to her and says he can do it for you. Im like all right so I show him the photo of the design again a simple drip design he precedes to not even try I could see it in his effort there was nothing he just took the nail brush and like blotched it on the tip of my nail Im not sure if he was also frustrated with me Im not sure but it was ridiculous it was worse than hers there was just clearly no effort. I know that it was no effort because no professional could be that bad. At this point Im over it I just want to go home Ive wasted $50 so I say okay just do a French nail so he does the French nail for me and says its going to be an extra $8. I did not pay the extra $8 because I was quoted for the original design which did not happen and I would not have upgraded to gel if they had not promised me they could do my simple design if I paid more for a gel. I dont understand a professional nail technician not being honest about their skill level. If youre unable to do a design just tell me up front and I can pick something simpler. Needless to say I will never be coming back here Not only was the customer service bad but their technicians cannot even do simple designs with an actual photo reference. In my opinion your money is much better spent anywhere else.

The lady that did my nails had an attitude because I wanted to pick another color. She was happy after I tipped her my money which she doesntDeserve. I would not recommend this place at all.
