84 tall Thermador built-in refrigerator. Not the easiest to throw out. But it is what factory service told me after 3 factory service calls with only recharging the coolant which was obviously leaking. After that we tried another approved provider, they told us it would be cheaper to replace the fridge. Dionis from Ocean came in, actually looked at the piping and put some tracing dye in it. They came back to find the leak and ordered all the parts and fixed it for about half the price of factory, plus that was including new door seals and they credited us for the initial service call. At last, a company that gives you a window on certain days, not 9-5 but 10-2 or 9-11 and they show up every time within that window and call you upfront.
Victor was extremely knowledgeable, about the specifics of the refrigerator/Freezer. He spent the time explaining to me what was wrong with the appliance. Came on time, and was very professional. I am very satisfied, and would use Ocean Appliance Service again.
I never post reviews, however wanted to share how impressed I was with the timeliness and great customer service I experienced. Danny was punctual, called when he was 15 minutes out and very professional.
My experience on the phone with the customer service woman was an F. She was not helpful in getting me an appointment time that worked for me. I spoke with her 5 times, until I got the right time set up. Then, when my appointment window was here, and I was sitting home waiting for the repair man, I tried to call the company office to find out when they would arrive. The recording kept coming on, and I spoke with nobody. Then the repair man came. He was an A+... Just fabulous! Charming, professional, and knew immediately what my problem was. He fixed it in a quick period of time, and explained what to do if the problem came back. Again, he was wonderful! I would use them again, even though the receptionist was a ZERO.
Outstanding service! Technician arrived early (company notified me via phone to let me know). Fixed the issue within 20 minutes. Highly recommended!
Service was prompt and on time. We didnt choose this company GE did based on our area. Didnt receive 5 stars because the service man didnt have shoe covers and refused to remove his filthy sneakers on my carpet in my brand new home. Between covid and having a baby that crawls on the floor, having and maintaining a clean home is of utmost importance. I wish this was respected and honored.
I call them to repaire my Viking refrigerator the first he said it isa part of the freezer apparently he ordered the part at the time he came to replace the part he found out it was something else wrong so the fist part he turned and he got other part he replace wich I have the part he replace then after 3 days refrigerate got very hot and sparkle happen and the refrigerator is totally gone the problem they don’t know how to repaire viking I spoke the a manager let them I going to get Viking company direct to repair I ask for my money back that I paid wich is 348.90 plus 115.00 I call again after one week to ask for my refund the secretary Annie was very rude and refused to let me speak to business owner or give me his name wich I had to recherche his name Coris Frankie

Poor communication from office help to customers. they dont call you the day before or notify you on line as to when they will come to your house, and when confronted they deny and say you were notified and since you didnt respond they will have to change your service date to 2 days later. we discontinued service with this company and have found another appliance company that has already taken care of us. we did use ocean appliance one time in the past and the technician did a good job. they just need a good full time secretary that answers the phone and follows through with customer.

He was reliable, called ahead of the appointment, and arrived when he said he would. Josef was courteous, pleasant and professional. We were pleased with his service and with Ocean Appliance.
I was very disappointed in Ocean Appliances communication. I ordered a part for my refrigerator, and paid for it in advance. They never called to say it would take a month to get it in. I called at least twice during the month to get an update and even left a message for the owner/manager and never received a call back. Ultimately, when the person finally came to fix the refrigerator, he did a good job.
Purchased extended warranty through Best Buy. 2 years later, I started having Leak Detected error code on my Samsung dishwasher. I called BestBuy repair center who scheduled a repair with one of their service companies Ocean Appliance Service. They were on time, and the repair technician diagnosed the problem as water in the catch basin underneath the unit. He also wrote on the repair order that although he could not see any actual leaking at the time, he ordered a drain pump to be replaced. It took 3 1/2 weeks for the drain pump and his return back to my home to replace the pump. During this time, we had no use of the dishwasher - he left the unit unplugged and told us not to use it, the unit was not secured back in its place (with the mounting screws), and 2 of the panels were left off. When the technician came to replace the drain pump, he said that he was not sure if it was really the drain pump that was the problem. He put the unit back together with the old pump still on, ran a few test runs, said theres no leak now. He said for us to call him back if it happens again. (?) So basically he did no repair, took the unit apart, left it disconnected, and told us not to use it until he came back with the new part.... and then did nothing. He said that he company wont get reimbursed by Samsung if it turns out the problem isnt the drain pump. (All I want is for this problem to be fixed). I can promise you this - if this problem happens again, I will insist Best Buy use another repair contractor to come to my home. I will never EVER recommend Ocean Appliance. Oh - and the best part, the technician said if we have this problem again, call us directly and well make you a priority. No chance bud, you can keep that new drain pump you took back with you. A copy of this complaint has been made with Best Buy - its important they know their customer was not serviced properly by their contractor.
This was the worst service company I have ever encountered. Once they discovered my wall air conditioner was under warranty the technician called his boss and on speaker we could here the boss say can the husband and wife hear me? Then the tech. started to pack up his things, would not speak to us or write up a ticket and ran out. The next day another company was sent to us and it was a totally different experience. They were professional, knowledgeable and polite. My issue was solved but not with this company. Do Not Use- I had to give them one star to post this. Otherwise I would give them no stars.
Customer service is unhelpful and rude. Technician missed two appointments and never called to inform he was not going. When he did show up he replaced parts but did not get the unit to work. Never informed us there were additional issues. When service center was called, rude customer service representative said it was not her problem the ticket was closed because he replaced parts. Offered not help at all and hung up for no reason. Worst experience ever!! Deserve less than the one star indicated.
Had a great experience with this company. Called for service on my Samsung FlexWash and they sent out the technician Danny B. withing 2 days. When he arrived he quickly diagnosed the issue being a simple overflow issue (no parts needed) He did not play games and try to oversell. He was very professional and courteous. Took the time to explain what caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future. Will definitely use them again in the future!

We spoke to two people on the phone and they were great. They made us feel confident they were the right people to call for help. Our technician, Danny, was fabulous. He diagnosed our problem and did exactly what he told us he would do. He had to order the part but assured us he would be back in about a week, and, he did. He was very good about social distancing and he wore a mask the entire visit.I feel so good about knowing we found a great company.

Ocean Appliance Service technician, Danny was rude, obnoxious and inconsiderate.The technician insists on ringing the doorbell and knocking on the door simultaneously.This upset my 3 dogs and disrupted the 3 adults working from home due to COVID.The technicians response was that it is company policy to do both. He does not have time to wait on people.He was argumentative and became angry with me. Then, he promptly repacked the ice-maker and told me to find another technician.Ocean Appliances need to train their technicians in proper customer service.

I loved the updates with regards to the appointment. Only hiccup was the tech forgot to schedule me.I called ocean and they remedied it immediately.The tech was good. He knows his job.My only comment, he was at my door on the phone, sounded like a personal call, and was repairing the appliance while on the phone.!He solved the issue,I think, will have to wait and see but I would prefer to have his undivided attention.
Great job done by this company!!! Our Samsung was not producing ice, we called numerous companies, some came out looked at the work required and never came back. Some promised to come back, but it was difficult to get a hold of them. This company (Ocean Appliance) not only did they show up, but they were EXTREMELY courteous and friendly!!! GREAT JOB to the entire team from the technician to the administrator.
The Techician was competent enough but the company needs a better customer service reception center imo. I was receiving cancel emails for calls when that wasn’t the case. I was not impressed with the customer service on the phone outside the manager nor the customer service from the technician. The technician was capable but his personality was lacking imo.
The work is to repair the oven on a gas stove, However, a part had to been ordered and once received the work will be have to be completed.
Tech came out to switch a board and that didn’t fix the issue which was simply no ice or water dispensing. After speaking with Ge he ordered another part but left without even verifying if the fridge was operational. It is most certainly not. Not cooling or freezing. My wife called next day and was told they would call back after getting in contact with the tech. She followed up 2 more times and no one called back. Now it’s Saturday and you are closed until Monday. Now all my food is going bad and you can’t answer the phone or simply return the original call you were supposed to. This is unacceptable. Not just the part of the tech leaving without verifying the fridge was working as it was before and now not even having the common courtesy to return the call after you caused this. Unprofessional and unreliable. I’d give you zero.

They did what GE refused to do. GE had parts back ordered for months and I went and found the parts myself online. Ultra easy to do. GE refused to install them even after I was told they would install parts that didnt come from them. These word ge parts. I understand you cant guarantee the parts at that point, which is what I expected. Ocean installed the parts at a reasonable rate with a reasonable lead time for scheduling. Thanks.
This company is expensive, unreliable, offers awful customer service, and is disorganized.I was waiting all day long for them to show up for service twice and received no calls to cancel. They rescheduled my appointment for their earliest which was a week later. The tech took 2 hrs to replace a gasket. Before he left I told him the machine did not have the noise it was making. He attributed it to needing oil and said he didn’t have any in his work truck, that he would return Saturday. No one ever showed up, and he has not answered calls or text despite the fact he confirmed the day before he would show up.Stay away from this company. In need of a gasket? Save yourself 400 + dollars for service and the gasket!
Excellent communication, followed all COVID protocols and guidelines and pleasant to deal with at all levels, my technician, Danny, ordered replacement parts for my Samsung Range Oven which was under Costco Concierge warranty. Thank you Ocean A/C & Appliance. I only wish that Costco and Samsung would have assigned your company to begin with rather than Lakes Electronics which I refused to have in my home. I can now happily report that I went from one extreme to the other! Thank you Ocean A/C.
My only concern I had was that the office did not communicate to keep me up-to-date on the status of parts delivery and when they were coming install. I did receive computerized call giving me this information. There parts prices were fair since I tested them against an appliance parts distribution center I have use in the past.
Worst customer service ever. They never fixed the issue the first time but they charged it.It took more that a month for them to resolve the issue and they even charged it again.Very unprofessional technician and customer service over the phone.

With a warranty purchased by Home Depot after a delayed first diagnostic visit, they came back several days later with the wrong part. Incredible, and I still have my refrigerator without repairing.
They did a great job. I called them for an LG Refrigerator that stopped cooling, and they booked me an appointment for the next day. They came out within the time range they provided me (they also sent me a link that I could monitor how the tech was progressing that day so I would know more accurately when they would get to my house). I also received a call from the tech when he was on his way. They quickly diagnosed the issue and ordered the parts to fix it. Two days later they were back out again to fix it, and within an hour or so, it was all done. More importantly, I was just out of manufacturer warranty, and they were able to work with LG to get my repair fully covered. They saved me hundreds of dollars... Great work!!

A to Z appliance service evaluated two appliances for squealing valves and excessive noise when running. Although recordings were available to prove my complaint was accurate, these recordings were not accepted as some of the noises in the recordings were not able to be elicited during the visit. When complete, I was informed my water pressure was causing the squealing of the hot water valve, only, on the washer and the continuous buzzing and squealing on the dishwasher.
The technician was very thorough and once he figured out what was wrong he took the time to explain it and educate me on the new features of the dryer. Something the salesperson should have done. Priceless!!!

I used Ocean Appliance through Lowes warranty. I had many problems with the initial appointment. It was scheduled and then rescheduled twice. The original time it was rescheduled, I received a phone call from someone at the office to reschedule it. All of the other times that appointments were scheduled or rescheduled, I was notified of the date/time via email or a recorded call. If I wasnt working from home, this would have been a BIG issue! When the technician finally showed up Dec 17th (originally scheduled for December 7th), he was here for 5 minutes and determined that the issue was the draining mechanism in the washing machine. He said that he had to order the part and would be back in 3-5 days (before Christmas). I heard nothing from them for weeks. A different technician finally showed up January 11th only to discover that the part that was ordered was not correct. The 3rd technician came back January 25th with the correct part and repaired the washer. Luckily my washer was functional. If it hadnt been, I would have been with no washing machine from December 7th - January 25th. Sorry, but with all of the rescheduling and ordering wrong parts, I dont recommend this repair company.

!*!*! Please read this if youre considering hiring Ocean Appliance.Our dryer was making an incredibly loud screeching noise, so loud our neighbors could hear it. It was under warranty, so I contacted the warranty service and requested that Ocean Appliance do the work because they provided excellent service on our washer 8 months ago.The tech arrived on time, heard the noise and said that it could be one of two things; a drum roller or the pulley. He said hed order the parts and would get back to me. When they fixed our washer 8 months ago, they had to order parts and were back to complete the repair in 2 days. This time, I didnt hear back from them. I called them about a week later to get a status update. They told me they would receive the parts in a few days and set up another appointment. Again, the tech arrived on time with the parts. He disassembled the dryer and looked at the pulley and told me that the replacement he had was not the correct one. Without removing it, he turned the wheel on the pulley and said that it fine, and wasnt causing the problem. He then proceeded to replace 2 of the 4 drum rollers, (which look like roller blade wheels), and lubricated some other parts. He partially reassembled the dryer and turned it on. At first it seemed fine, but then it started making a new, different clicking noise. I pointed it out to the tech and he said that there was nothing he could do about that noise! I told him that it wasnt there before, but he didnt care. Then, the dryer started making the loud screeching noise again. He started looking into the machine to identify the problem when all of a sudden the screeching noise stopped. He turned the dryer off/on a few times to see if the noise would come back, but it didnt. He reassembled the dryer and told me to call him if the screeching noise comes back. I couldnt believe it! The screeching noise was back just a minute ago, along with another noise that he introduced, and now he was leaving! When I asked him how could he leave when it hasnt been repaired, he replied that he cant identify the problem if its not making the noise. I reminded him that he stated it was either a roller or the pulley. Since he already replaced some rollers I asked him why doesnt he replace the pulley, to which he replied that he checked it and the pulley is fine. As he was getting ready to leave, I noticed a screw on the floor. When I pointed it out to him, he picked it up and said that it came with the rollers he replaced and wasnt needed because the dryer already had them. **GET THIS: He then stated that he never misses any screws because he always counts them to make sure he puts back the same number he removes. As hes cleaning up the area he says whats this? and picks up a bunch of screws he forgot to put back. He had to disassemble the dryer again to put these screws back.You can guess what happens - The next day, the dryer started making the same screeching noise again. I called Ocean Appliance and made another appointment, which I confirmed by email. OCEAN APPLIANCE NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT OR EVEN CALLED. I called, left a message, but no one replied to me. Then, I get an email from the warranty company stating the Ocean Appliance has closed the service case saying the repair was completed!I called the warranty company, explained everything that had happened, and told them to send out a different service company because I would NEVER use Ocean Appliance again. A couple of days later, another company came out, heard the noise, replaced the pulley, and now everything is fine. The clicking noise is gone too.I received a survey from Ocean Appliance, to which I entered a not-so-good review. I received a communication that I would be contacted about it, but no one ever did.Needless to say, I was so disappointed with Ocean Appliance. I was curious to know the quality of service others have been getting from Ocean Appliance, so I looked up their reviews Yelp. All I can say is Wow! I recommend that you check them for yourself.
Although the process of getting an appliance repaired (when it takes one visit to diagnose then a waiting period to order the needed part) is frustrating, this company got it done for us and the display on our GE refrigerator is back to working as it should.
We have an expensive Samsung slide in glass top range. Our glass top started looking rough and worn. We decided to have the top replaced (Lowes highly recommended) Ocean appliances for the replacement. Top was ordered and arrangements were made. Fast forward a few weeks later to Oct 5, repairman removes the old top and in the process breaks the circuit board. We now have the burners working but the oven and control panel is dead to the world. We spoke to the manager on 4 occasions as of today they still cannot find a supplier for the new board.... We are truly hoping they will make this right. We are understanding that Accidents happen!!. I will be sure to update this post once we have resolution.Update 12-1-17.I would just like to say that they replaced the broken part, and we are very pleased with the servive recieved, I would definitly use them again..
I just want to thank everyone at Ocean’s Appliance for their wonderful work and support when my refrigerator quit work. They were diligent taking on the difficult task of looking for a Freon leak on the inside of my refrigerator. From the scheduling to the technicians I was treated with respect and kindness. I was informed, the night before, by phone when they would arrive, and then a call about 15 minutes before their arrival. They were always on time and were so knowledgeable working on my LG refrigerator. I realize they are extremely busy, and you may have to wait a few days, but it was totally worth it. I would use them again if the need arises and know the outcome will end up perfectly.
Five stars all the way. Communication is great. They know what they are doing. They arrive on time. They have repaired my fisher & paykel dishdrawers, Kenmore Elite advantium microwave and Kenmore Elite dryer. Frankie and Arnold are very professional and Arnold is a true appliance whisperer.
Frankie and Arnold came out yesterday to perform their semi-annual repair on my Samsung refrigerator. I won’t bore you the details other than the fact that we have a design defect from Samsung.These guys literally disassembled my refrigerator and freezer and reassembled it in what i would consider record time. They were here 6 months ago for the same issue through no fault of theirs.I believe that i haven’t met more technical savvy and personable techs. Always clean, ready to fix the problem and are a very pleasant experience.I would highly recommend Ocean’s Appliance service to any one.One warning though, if Arnold starts humming quickly turn on some music or you will be humming the same thing all day!

They were quick to diagnose my AC problems, ordered the parts and fixed my central AC. Im very happy to have used them. They are extremely professional! I highly recommend them.

As everyone has said previously - dont use Ocean Appliance!I called Ocean Appliance at the recommendation of our landlord for a washing machine repair and it took 3 weeks to get them scheduled to come take a look!The first time I scheduled them for a week after I placed the call for an appointment and they said they would call me the day prior with a time frame for them to stop by. Due to me having to work, I had to call them back and request an afternoon window and the lady at dispatch was very rude and said that was the only time available and they could only reschedule the appointment. So I rescheduled for a week later and was called by their automated system a day prior the the appointment with a 10 AM-1 PM window. Around 11 AM, the automated system called me and said the technician was en route and would be there shortly. I then heard back from the dispatch center an hour later and was told the technician got stuck at a bridge and bypassed my appointment and would try to come later and that he should be there in another hour.In another hour I called back and spoke to dispatch and they said the technician was still at the appointment and theyre not sure when he would wrap up and to call back in 30 minutes. At this point, Im frustrated and freaking out because I had to leave the house no later than 3:30 PM to get to work, and I was originally expecting them between 10 AM and 1 PM. I asked for a manager to discuss the problem with and they told me that they didnt have a manager there and the manager wouldnt be there until next Wednesday. So I called dispatch back at 2:30 PM and they said the tech (Adrian) should be there by 3 PM. Fortunately the tech did show up at 3 PM and apologized for being late. He was moderately courteous and figured out the problem pretty quickly and provided an estimate for the service. I asked for a discount on the service fee or if the fee could be waived for the inconveniences today, and he said his hands are tied and I could only call the office to make a complaint. And when I spoke to the office earlier in the day, they said there was nothing they could do either.I feel like no one at the company cares about their customers or customer service. I wasted a whole off day waiting around on the tech for no one to seem to care about me as a customer. Stay far away from Ocean Appliance and use someone else!**Update: I love how the owner/manager responds saying good for them that the problem was fixed. If they really would have researched the information they have on their end, they would have seen that the problem wasnt fixed and they only provided me with an estimate. Meanwhile, they just want to brush my feedback off like its nothing... great customer service... Im not mad that I didnt get a discount. Im upset that you kept me waiting around all day when my appointment was confirmed from 10 AM to 1 PM and no one could give me an estimate on when I would be seen. Ive had other contractors come in to my place and treat me with respect and respect my time. Ocean Appliance doesnt do any of these things.
They will not answer your call. They left a ticket open and unanswered, and when I tried calling them to get it closed, THEY WILL NOT ANSWER. They drop your call and refuse to help you.
On Time, Professional, and completed the service in 15 minutes were as another company was in the kitchen for 45 minutes and couldnt figure it out. The other company thought they would have to order me a new door.
Friendly, quick appointment, on time, still havent been able to fix the problem on the 3rd visit.

I had bought my new washer and dryer from Lowes and when something went wrong it was all covered under the Extended Service Plan I bought. I called Lowes and they immediately called Ocean Appliance in Hollywood to take care of it. I am really glad they did. I had a broken ice maker in my Samsung refrigerator. The technician came on time and quickly recognized the problem. He ordered the parts and set up the appointment for the following week.He returned as scheduled and did an excellent job replacing 4 defective parts both inside and outside of the unit. He was courteous and kowledeable and knew what he was doing.Another time I had water leaking out of the bottom of the refrigerator. I called and a technician came and immediately analyzed the problem. The two drainage tubes were stopped up and there was a great deal of water under the vegetable and fruit bins. This was leaking out and heading to the floor. Again, a fine technician who was professional and responsive to the problemThank you Ocean Appliance! You have a good team working for you.Even the phone representatives do a good job whenever I have called in.
The tech that came out, Dionis is his name, was very good, found the problem and fixed accordingly very professionaly. I received a message one day before with the time frame and advised me that I would be the third on line, which made it easy for me to figure out the time that he finally came, gave me a call 20 minutes before. I would recomend them for any problem you have on your appliance.
The owner which is the lady that answers the phone is very disrespectful. Ive never come across such bad customer service living my entire life in south Florida. Please those that read this take my review on them to heart. They have left me for over 2 weeks with a broken fridge. Her answer to me was oh well. They set an appointment with me and the day of the appointment they canceled, and said it was to far for them to go.
Im normally not one to write reviews, but given my wonderful experience with Ocean Air, I felt compelled to share my experience.My 2 year old a/c unit was no longer cooling my home. Not liking the response times offered by other repair companies, I reached out to Ocean Air because of a friends recommendation.I could not be happier that I did. The phone operator was courteous and seemed genuinely concerned for my problem. She was able to arrange for a service repair the same day! The techs came, removed and cleaned my inside a/c coils. After cleaning them, they looked brand new! The tech even spent extra time after the job just to make sure the cleaned coils solved my problem. It worked.One of the techs even watched my son while I took a 5 minute important call from a client!I highly recommend them!
