I have never stayed in this unit. I apologize to the owner for the terrible review that was written here previously. I dont know how it got there, but I didnt write it. I have sent a report to google regarding this error. Im keeping this review here so the owner can see it, and will delete once acknowledged.

Excellent place at the beach

My family has been vacationing at Hilton Head since 2003 and have always enjoyed the times we stayed at Beachwood Place usually renting 3-4 of the units. This year has started off in a disappointing way. Our 25 year old son and 5 of his friends rented a unit on the 3rd floor. My wife, daughter and I are on the 2nd floor and our older daughter and her family are on the 1st floor. Other family members are also on the 1st floor. Last night was our first night on our vacation. Our son and his friends were out having a good time as young adults will do. They returned and apparently were a bit loud. A number of guests called their owners. The police came by and told then to just keep quiet and left. All we heard last night were the fireworks shot off on the beach at 1:15 AM which apparently was ok but illegal. The guests told management they were monitoring our son and his friends and reported 8 people coming and going from there room, beer cans left in the grass by the pool and they could not get to sleep until 4:00 AM. Not of that was true and our son and his friends were sleeping by 2:00 AM. This afternoon my son and his friends were evicted. No second chance, no consideration given considering the accusations were not all true. Yes, they were loud when they came back but knocked it off after the police left. I saw their unit this afternoon. It was clean, nothing was broken and no bad odors, etc. I said I would vouch for their behavior the rest of the week. They said they would go door to door and apologize to the other guests. The manager said there was nothing she could do because the HOA Presidents word was final. In the 13 years we have been staying in the Coligny area we have seen and heard many things from guests staying around us and nothing was done. Now for the rest of this week we have to walk around here and sit at the pool wondering who around us felt so strongly that our son and friends were given no second chance and no benefit of a doubt. By the way, there were a number of cars parked illegally on the premises today despite parking spots being open. Early this morning before 7:00 AM someone was running across the floor in the unit above us but we didnt complain because we know what its like to be on vacation. Last night someone vomited from the second or third floor. My son observed that as he and his friends were saying goodnight to some of our family members. We wont be back but Im sure that wont matter to anyone.JLH 7/17/16
