I was on vacation visiting when my treated root canal took a turn for the worst. I ended up needing to go to the local urgent care with an abscess tooth, swollen face and too much pain to handle. They called over to Dr Canham who came in on his day off to see me as an emergency. He treated me and got me an appointment the next am. Amazingly helpful and understanding of my situation. Took excellent care of me and made me feel at ease about everything. His staff and he are very professional and friendly. Highly recommend! Only negitave is that I live 15 hours away and cant make them my regular dentist! Thank you so much again for everything!!

I was visiting in the area and needed an emergency treatment, they got me in with no delay. The staff was great! I was super nervous and they ensured my experience comfortable. The staff did a superior job, Dr. Canham was spot on. Thank you!

I never write reviews, but I thought I would give Southern Smiles one bc they deserve praise. My family and I moved to HH a couple of months ago and after a little research I chose Southern Smiles to have my wisdom teeth removed.. at the age of 37, I was quite apprehensive. What I can say though is this staff is absolutely incredible. From the front desk to the operating chair, it is first class. I received a call over the weekend to check on how I was doing, I was unsure about how healing was going, and they allowed me to come in right then to take a look. Dr Canham even offered to bring by medication if I needed it. The office will even text me answers to questions I have. Im sure there are just as qualified dentists on HH, but I chose Southern Smiles and glad I did. If you are on the fence, give these guys a shot! My only gripe is that the tooth fairy left me hanging and I got zilch from her.

We are currently here visiting for a week. A member of our party had a temporary bridge come out and we needed a dentist just to glue it back in on an emergency basis. Despite their website specifically saying they take emergencies, they said it would be two weeks Before the dentist could fit him in for what should be a 10 minute procedure. Definitely would not recommend this practice.

I have had a great deal of dental work done over the years. The state of the art technology and knowledge for professional service is outstanding.

My appointment was to cement a crown. When I made my appointment with Jennifer I explained my situation and she made an appointment for me. Upon arrival I was requested to fill out a three page questioner and was led back for X-rays. I asked the technician if this was necessary to replace a crown and she said yes. After that, facial photographs, more X-rays and more photographs. Again I asked if this was all necessary to replace a crown. She again said yes. I met briefly with Dr. Canham who explained that a plastic crown would be necessary which was professionally made and installed.I must say that all personnel that I came in contact with were very nice and very professional.Im not happy with the fees I was charged. I dont understand a New Patient Emergency charge or excessive X-rays that were taken.I have no problem with the Temporary Bridge charge.

Best Dentist I have ever seen. Dr. Canham and the entire staff are absolutely awesome. By far, it was the most thorough exam Ive ever been given. Their Zoom teeth whitening is cheap and great too. I highly recommend.

We are so happy to have found Southern Smiles. We have been coming as a family for over two years. It is a drive for us but well worth it. We love Dr Canham and the entire staff of Southern Smiles. They treat as though we are at the spa. The massage chair is extraordinary! We are always so impressed with the latest and greatest technology being used.

Ive been going to Southern Smiles for a few years now. Dr Canham and the staff are great! They have state of the art equipment and staff that understand you. I left there today after getting a routine cleaning and realized I no longer dread going to the dentist! The cleanings are always gentle. No jabbing or prodding which over the years really made me dislike going to any dentist. Southern Smiles cured my phobia!

I have been a patient since Dec 2016 when I had an emergency impacted tooth. I was seen that day and was on the road to recovery. I received the best care from Dr. Canham and his lovely staff since day one! This office is by far the best in the industry and if you have a fear of dental procedures, this is the place to cure your fears and have enjoyable dental experiences!

While vacationing on HHI my husband broke his tooth. Dr. Canham and his staff were wonderful. They fit us in and took care of the tooth working late to finish! We were so pleased with the service we received. Would definitely recommend this dentist!!
