Having been a member at this location for over 6 years, the club was truly in need of an upgrade. I went in last night and was impressed beyond measure. Everything has been replaced, new lights, flooring, and a more open floor plan that is inviting and versatile. I was greeted by totally awesome staff including Charlie who is still there crushing the PT side of the business. The man gets it done for sure. Without question, I am excited to be working out here again. My only complaint is the removal of the 24/7 hours which was a reliable benefit for me after work. I am hopeful that will return when they can hire people willing to cover those late night shifts. If they need help with overnights I am certainly willing to pitch in if there is an interest. Overall though, Upgrade DELIVERED!.

Staff are very nice, the gym is always clean and organized. There is a lot of mechanics in there so almost no wait. They also offer workout programs and personal trainers. 100% recommended.

I wish you guys can go back to 24/7 because I can only work out after my work schedule after 10pm....

My experience at this facility has been mixed. Overall, it has a good variety and amount of equipment that a good workout can be had easily when I typically go in the morning. At $10/mo, the value proposition is strong. They are renovating currently, which has me hopeful for this future of this gym. With that said, cleanliness is an issue for this facility. I’ve never once seen a team member clean any of the equipment or gym floor - and it seems that based on the amount of dust and build up that the facility has been this way for a while. Unfortunately, when I raised these concerns to employees, sent emails to the manager, and even emailed corporate, I never got a response or more importantly saw any results.

Ive been a member since 2 rebrandings ago. During covid they started renovations that are still going on and this is probably the first time theyve renovated in over 15 years. No joke- you can usually find the brandings of 3 gyms prior and the same lights and sauna pieces broken. I cancelled recently because they arent going to go back to being 24/7. After renovations maybe it will be worthy of more than 1 star.

This is the nicest gym. It’s clean they follow COVID-19 protocols. The equipment is top of the line. The staff are very kind. They do take COVID seriously.

I have been going to this Crunch for a few months. It is a non-pretentious gym with a nice variety of machines. One opportunity I see is to improve cleanliness. The machines are often dusty and could be wiped down more often. I often see staff standing around and wonder if they could instead be wiping down machines more often - especially during the pandemic.The staff is quite friendly and helpful when I have asked them how to use a machine. I want to put a special plug in for one of the trainers - Travis. He is knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. I have been training with him for about a month and he has been great to work with. I confess that joining a gym and hiring a trainer was intimidating but Travis has been great to work with.

Nice gym. However, the morning stuff if very unreliable. I have showed up to the gym at 5:00 Am only to find out that the gym is closed without notice. This has happened twice within the last 3 months. Gym hours are 5:00 Am to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday...Not the case. It is the most annoying and frustrating thing ever especially for those of us that have a morning routine.

Nice gym cant wait for them to finish the renovation.

I am giving 3 stars because I like this gym, but at the same time there are a few things that should be taken into consideration by their management. The gym is nice and clean, and the equipment is great. However, it is always overpacked with people. There is no single time I went to the gym and found it easy to find a barbell to workout. The machines are always occupied. It is always crowded like crazy, and there is no social distancing. They should have a certain number of members to maintain social distancing and to keep the equipment available to everyone who needs them. They are allowing a lot more than their full capacity, and they are clearly not following the cdc guidelines on social distancing and limiting the capacity to 25%. I also gave some stars because I want to give them credit to the classes they have. All classes are great, and all the trainers are nice and professional. Unlike the gym area, the classes are always not packed and social distancing is maintained. I hope that they take into consideration expanding the gym area and limiting the number of members, so that it doesn’t become as packed as it is right now.

🖤🖤🖤I dunno how my review got taken down?Place is excellent. The reason I stayed with crunch Fitness for years. There is 5 heavy bags here. The newer Olympic lifting platforms with spots to absorb drops. A mid sized area of cardio Machines (large is like those places who only do treadmills) . Many machines an free weights. Only one traditional dual cable pulley area. . They have one of the other stand alone dual cable machines. Group training for some of the usual cardio type workouts. Awesome an beautiful staff who many obviously work out.If you get tired of being yelled at for being a lunk who does lunk things like : actually lift weights; then this is the place for you! 👻

I am a regular at Crunch and have been for some time. Overall, I am pleased with the facility. Some of the things that I like are the diversity of clientele, equipment, and the classes. There is child care for those that require that. It is very reasonably priced, convenient, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful when addressing concerns and do not pressure anyone into personal training although they do not interact with clientele as much as in previous times. I enjoyed running discussions and friendship with the previous manager Kim. Since it is a new year, I think that the facility is getting a bit crowded and so the equipment is getting more use therefore more machines out of order and taking some time to repair. Overall, they do a good job of maintenance. There are some minor irritants. Although I do like the music selection, it is often so loud it is difficult to listen to headphones.

Beware you cant cancel your membership unless you go in to cancel it, even tho you moved states away

I went into crunch for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic and NO ONE was wearing a mask, including a few of the employees. On their website it is listed that you are allowed to take your mask off if you are doing strenuous activity, however people were doing things such as lifting, and just standing and talking all without a mask on. There had to be at least 30 mask-less people in the gym including employees. Surprised the Ohio Health department hasnt been called on this place yet to be honest.

Crunch use to be a great gym then the pandemic happened and now as long as you don’t value your time or if you don’t actually have goals and a strict workout schedule, it still is. 3 times now I have waited for the gym to be opened, first was 10 mins then 15 mins to walk into a disgusting dirty gym, and now today I waited 45 minutes for no one to show up. When someone actually does show up all they do( there is a select few that don’t) is lean against the counter and look at their phone. It’s funny when it comes time for them to receive your payment they are right on time.

Let me start with the positives - the cost is reasonable, there is a nice variety of classes, the instructors and the class times are very good. Whats disappointing is the lack of cleanliness especially in the locker and restrooms. I was a member of Aussie Fit before it became Crunch and they placed a high value on cleanliness. The cleanliness has declined with Crunch and its the worst its ever been now. What makes it even harder is last year they employed an outside cleaning company which did a nice job keeping the locker and restroom areas looking and smelling good. For some reason they are now expecting Crunch employees to clean the locker and restrooms, which is not happening. And its not just me who feels like this. I and many other people have complained to management about the dirty condition of the locker and restrooms and they say the right things but nothing changes. So I guess barring an outbreak of some virus due to the dirty state of the things, I will continue as a member for now due to the positives I mentioned above.

Great place to workout (very diverse types of equipment), energetic and friendly atmosphere. However, if you want to downgrade they dont tell you ahead of time theres a $10 fee to do so. Also, 60 days after you signup you pay an annual fee of $41.93. So beware of the hidden costs they dont highlight when youre signing up.

I’m a regular at this location. I migrated as along time planet fitness member. I enjoy all the different equipment however the gym is very dirty. It looks as though the locker rooms are never cleaned nor the gym floor. Also there is always broken equipment. The place could use some serious updates as well. The Reynoldsburg location, in comparison, is very clean and much newer unfortunately it’s too far.

Been going for years. Plenty of free weights, and enough additional amenities (tanning, sauna, kiddie corner) to make the cost of membership a steal.

This gym is awful. Takes forever to fix equipment when it breaks. Very dusty and dirty, even before the lockdown. Employees always on their phone leaning on the counters. Have them clean or dust. Not enough machines. Laughable that they now take your temperature for everyones saftey when entering, but when you look up and see youre breathing in mold all over the ceiling. The only saving grace is the price. Look at other options.

I love going here. It is cheap. My son loves the childcare. They have more squat racks, benches, and free weights than any gym Ive been to before. The locker room could be better (usually too hot and needs better cleaned).

Nice place to workout employee are cool easy to get along with people that workout here are cool and stay in there lanes but I have met a lot of helpful people here to help complete my own goals nice equipment, to use in your workout goals also they have a speed ball and bags!

Overall, I really like this gym. But I have noticed as of lately that a lot of the equipment getting worn out (mats, rope cable extensions, other equipment etc) also some of the plastic on the baseboards (randomColors on walls etc) and other esthetic pieces of the building are damaged. I feel if they are increasing prices and have an annual fee, they should use it to fix things. I do like that they have a sauna!

Turn the heat up in the mens sauna! Its never hot enough with the door not sealing. Gym is good for the price. Dont expect it to be the most clean gym though. Also, they have room to add much more equipment, but they dont seem interested in spending money on upgrades. Please, just turn the sauna heat up.

Nice instructors and staff. Plenty of options there. I have Peak membership now, upgrading during summer for small group trainer, too. I enjoy the variety of classes plus options to work power half hour circuit myself, do treadmill, stationary bikes, weights, etc. as Id like. Reasonable price for all the options and extras.

Manager is delightful, she is always willing to help me even if its busy.

Excellent gym, I went with a bud as a guest. My brother has membership here though. I was surprised at the amount of machines they have, along with free weights. I usually workout during early morning hours and noticed that the gym isnt too packed at those times - perfect for me. If you are looking for a 24/7 gym location, Id give this spot a shot - wont regret it.

Love this gym been a member for roughly 3 years or so. Couple things cleanliness has def. gone down hill. A few of the TVs there have been broken since I first started coming here. Other then that love the place and the kickboxing :)

Pretty good gym. I definitely like it better than anytime fitness. Theres a few machines which have been broken for a while now. Mens mocker room is kept very tidy. Really like that. They have any equipment youll need.

Crunch Fitness is a bunch of crooks! You be in a month to month personal training situation with them and NEVER get your sessions made up then cancel and they still want to charge your credit card (which you never gave on file) and say the sessions they charge you for are in limbo until they expire! CROOKS! Gym is trash! Manager Kim is rude and so is Charlie the personal trainer manager!!!

Reasonable rates, great hours, offers classes and has pretty much all equipment you could need.

The showers are falling apart and not clean. been here for two years and its gotten so bad Ive decided to switch which is aas because I loved it. Its open layout and you know where everything is but the smell and not being clean isnt good. $10/month with $40/yearly and it took them the two years to replace broken equipment.

Maybe a bit dirty, maybe a bit crowded but it’s super affordable and there is a great selection of weights and machines. I’ve been coming here for years on and off.

I absolutely love this gym. The staff/trainers are very welcoming. However, I had an incident where I couldn’t remember my lock combination & couldn’t get into a locker. I asked a gentleman at the front desk if he had anything I could use to break the lock off. His response was, “I don’t have anything. I say go buy bolt cutters and come back or try and remember your password.” I get it’s my fault for forgetting the combination, but I felt his response was very rude and insincere. If I could remember the combination I wouldn’t be in this mess. You’d think a gym would be equipt for this situation because I’m sure it has happened to people before.

I love this gym has very good environment. I use both locations and enjoy both sites! I wish they had larger dumbbell s would be my only complaint.

Great place but the turn around for broken equipment is pretty slow. Also, bring your own wiping towel because they run out of the paper towels quickly and you cant wipe off the equipment. Great atmosphere, unlike planet fitness where everyone jugdes you for trying hard.

You get a lot of gym for a very low price. The staff is not pushy on buying their products and additional services. Very well-kept locker room.

Been going there for a few months now, the equipment is good and they seem to be constantly looking to improve it. There is always broken equiptment though, which kind of sucks.I used to go to power shack and they are wayyyy better than them because power shack succckkkssss.Overall a good gym. Not the best gym I have ever been too, but for the price I have nothing to complain about.

This is a filthy gym with broken equipment. The Manager at the Hilliard, OH location is on a power trip and needs customer service training! Id rather pay more money and be treated with respect.

Ive been going here for about a year and a half, so I went through the transition from Aussie fit to Crunch. The price for crunch is cheaper, and it shows. Things arent as clean, and equipment is constantly broken. There were two cardio machines that I told the staff were broken, one of them being the rowing machine. I feel like they slap the pink out of order sign on it for a couple weeks then take it off without touching it. The rowing machine still doesnt work.If youre a lifter, theres never really a good time to come lift without ALL the bars being taken. Dumbells too. I feel like it gets more and more crowded every week I go.I suppose its decent, I may be bias because my goals have changed and Ill be joining another gym when I move in October. But you get what you pay for I guess.

Great gym!

My wife went to this gym for a few years but then we moved. It happened to be that the annual fee was due right as we were moving. We happened to call them to cancel the same day the fee was due but theyre keeping our $40 because they say their contract says we had to cancel 10 days prior to the due date. Its unfriendly of them to keep our money on the way out and it burns any goodwill my wife had for them.

I usually never leave reviews.But the quality of this gym calls for it.first off the customer service is terrible everytime i try to tell the staff that things are broke or missing they shrug it off tell me it will be fixed soon but never gets fixed its been 3months that the sauna has been down. Then when they fix it,its for a limited time then it shuts off so i can never use it at night i work during the day so the only time i can workout is at night and using the sauna is a must but i never get to use it everytime i ask the night shift to turn it on they say its broke or the doors locked to the power switch but that is not true at all why tell me i get sauna use with my membership when i dont that is really miss leading and it pisses me off i recommend power shack or metro. Everything works at those places and the staff are really professional unlike crunch staff all they do is sit on their phones or play around i have to wait to be checked in because they are either looking down texting or not even at the counter. i will be taking my business else where until they fix this gym it needs a complete make over staff and equipment FIX IT CRUNCH YOUR MEMBERS ARENT HAPPY. P.s. the locker rooms are filthy and they always stink to the point you can smell them from the leg press machine and nobody ever re racks weights and the staff never picks up after people it is there job to pick weights up if people leave them out i shouldnt have to take 8 45lb plates off a machine just to use it.

Find another Gym, this people charged my credit card without my authorization maintenance fee they charge my credit card $114 for a two months period for 1 person. Horrible gym, DIRTY, broken equipment and the worst Management. I will makes sure nobody I know joins this gym.

THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE VERY RUDE, MENS LOCKER ROOM ALWAYS STINKS, NEVER ANY PAPER TOWELS OR TOILET PAPER IN THE BATHROOM STALLS, THE SAUNA NEVER WORKS, ALL THE BARBELLS ARE BENT, DUMBBELLS ARE FALLING APART. OVERALL HORRIBLE GYM! I KNEW THERE WAS A CATCH TO THE $10.95 A MONTH MEMBERSHIP.
