My experience living in Chestnut Hill, was pretty good. I lived there from September 2019- May2021. I absolutely loved the leasing team, every single person was amazing! I never had to follow up on anything! They resolved all my issues in literally one request! My apartment was leased to me in top shape and returned in top shape. The maintenance team would respond in less than 24hrs. I gave them 4 stars because of the following reasons.-The property is infested with stray cats. I have witnessed cats on top of my car as well as others on numerous occasions, resulting in several paw prints, and scratches.-The floors are thin, I could hear my neighbors snore at night. Also, they sounded like they were going to fall threw the floor! There have been a few times I had to knock on there door as late as 12am. (The only reason I moved)
This is the worst apartment complex ever. The office staff is rude and disrespectful and they lie. Also these apartments are mice infested the reason I moved. The maintenance crew was the only good thing about this complex.
So let’s see... when contacting management regarding issues she seemed irritated, making smart remarks like “maybe u should’ve went somewhere nicer”. The heat went out 3x and I’ve only lived there for 2years. My truck was broken into while being parked on the street so that’s that. The apartment was great but carpet and there’s a pool (I never used). Maintenance with the exception of one guy would get offended when u ask them to either take their shoes off or wear shoe covers.I took pictures to show them I’m not just some grumpy resident when it came to my concerns. Everyone else working in the office seems cool. The neighborhood is peaceful and the neighbors are chill. Ur in the middle of everything which is great, when rush hour starts remember, ur in the middle of everything. Three stars for peace of mind given how quiet the neighborhood is.
Im going to be honest about my experience at Chestnut Hill. It’s not surrounded by the best neighborhood but it is a pretty good place to live for the price. One of my guest experienced his window being busted due to parking on the street. While there, my ceiling collapsed. The problem was fixed promptly and I felt they actually cared about the situation given that it was a major inconvenience. I had little to no bug or rodent issues while there (I lived on the second floor). Management was pretty good but I paid my rent on time and didn’t cause much of a fuss. Simone helped me get my apartment and she was great throughout my experience. She even recommended a place for me to live when I moved due to the need for a bigger place. I would highly suggest this apartment complex. It’s not perfect but for the price it’s one of the best in this area.
My mom and I live here with my young son. The staff is personable. The maintenance staff comes in a timely manner. The grounds and buildings are well maintained and clean. Like everywhere else, the rent increases EVERY year which is something I hope changes county wide. But, I have no complaints. No roaches. I had a problem with one mouse in 2 years but I think he came from my storage unit. And he has since been “evicted.” Oh, ok. One thing I don’t like. Some things they make you do yourself that I think maintenance should do. For instance, they will give you the tubular bulbs to replace your kitchen lights, but you have to find a way to get a ladder and remove the casing and fit the tubes in place. Since this is not just screwing in a bulb, I think it’s safer for maintenance to do it. But that’s really the only thing. Even when your rent is late, they don’t post tacky, degrading notices on your door. They are very respectful and professional.
I would highly recommend these apartments. The office staff is really nice and professional and stay on top of maintenance issues. They work with you and do there best to make sure that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. For the price there is no comparison to other apartments in the area. The whole time I was here I saw one roach and one mouse I called and they have exterminators come every Monday so the issues was quickly resolved. I wish they had more trash cans though because they have one for like 10 apartment buildings so it overflows quickly and in the summer raccoons tend to want to raid the trash cans. The only other thing I didn’t like was the fact that the walls are super thin it’s true you can hear everything. Outside of that it was a very pleasant experience especially for the price it can’t be beat.
Things were touch and go at first but sooooo much better now. Buildings and grounds are always kept cleaned. Quiet for the most part, you can hear fireworks in the distance in and around July. Im loving the new landscape!
It was the Great Customer Service that had me to make my decision to move here one year ago, (Ms Rashida) & All the Staff in the Office. If you need Service, Maintenance has your back, also to see the Ground Keepers outside no matter what the Climate is, says a lot. Thank you All at Kay Mgmt!“Your Dream work is definitely Team Work”Special thanks to you All!
Worst place to live. rats and roaches are like the terminator, they can not be killed and when you complain about it. nothing happens and the apartment are very small and for the price they ask for, its not worth it
Mice endless mice if u catch one there’s another one omg I should post pictures
This is the worst apartment complex ever !!!! They have endless mice, pipe issues, your shower clogs up and you’ll have water sitting for days before it drains out !!! Oh they don’t care about residents, they literally tow your car and never give warnings !!!! I’ve worked for apt complexes and for our residents we have warning especially for minor offenses !!! This place is the pits !! Stay away oh the gun shots you hear at night is very disturbing ....
Excellent Staff!
