I have used their service several times. For the last instance, I was given a price for a multiple packages shipment, and I scheduled the pickup. When the pickup crew arrived, they realized the office made a mistake in the quoting process not including all my packages. Then, the owner expected me to pay for their mistake and gave us all an attitude (even hanging up on their own employee). The poor guy was not at fault, as he was only doing his job. I had used them before without any issues, but this mistake was managed so poorly that Ive decided to take my business someplace else. Customer service needs to greatly be improved.
I used Larimars services in 2019 to ship two large boxes. We were charged extra due to import taxes. We use another cargo shipper from New York, and i had never heard of that before, but I was in a pinch and needed to ship. This week, I needed to find a shipper in Florida and contacted Larimar. The boxes that cost $70 from NYC cost starting at $90 from Florida. When we answered all of the questions, the standard box now costs $150. Anything bigger costs nearly double. We contacted another shipper with a great reputation and are able to ship our boxes for less than $90 each. If you are looking for a shipper, please know that standard size boxes should not cost you this much. Pair that with the reviews about theft on here... dont waste your money. Do some research and find another company.
This shipping place has near failed me. They always deliver on time and never experienced anything being missing. I send frequently since 2017.
The gentleman who picked up the cargo were great, very nice and patient. The staff at the office were nice until it was time to pick up the cargo. When they arrived, they confirmed the price and we proceeded to write them a check. Seeing as they were picking up from a business that was fully operational that day, it took about 10 minutes to write the check. One of the drivers was on the phone with someone at the office during the 10 minutes and when he put her on speaker, we heard her say, and I quote What do they think of life? Making people wait so damn long, the world doesnt revolve around them and more. For just 10 minutes of there time it was a big deal. I (the receptionist) thought I had the right company for the job. Customer service is key, its not like we werent going to pay, we just had to get a check. It could happen to anyone! Extremely rude and made me look bad at my job. Safe to say, will not be using again.
GREAT COMPANY! I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS AND I HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. CURIOUS AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE KEY AND THAT IS THAT I GET ALL THE TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. MISSING ITEMS FROM BOXES? CHECK WITH WHOM EVER IS RECEIVING MERCHANDISE, BUT WITH THIS COMPANY I ASSURE YOU THAT WHAT YOU SHIP IS WHAT YOU GET!

Its simple, declare what you are shipping, pay customs fees, pay at the time of pickup for your shipping and I will promise you, your cargo will arrive intact and on time.🙂 If Items are not declare your turn around time will take longer. Great service, packages arrive in a few weeks (which is Awesome, since other vendors take a month or more), prices are reasonable and the best part is that your belongs are secure and arrives as you prepared it in your box (had prior bad experiences with other companys that belongings mysteriously disappeared).I began using there service back in 2015 and satisfied with overall service, i really cant complain, now my mother (picky lady) is there faithful customer.Dont take my word, just try it and you will not regret it!
I have use them for years sending boxes and all kind of appliances. Last time I use them, two of my boxes got to the Republic damaged. Like if something corrosive spilled on it. Two boxes completely ruin, I though they will pay for my loss or at least respond for it. They did nothing I even call Miamis office and other than a song and a dance I got zero responsible respond. I guess you cant count on them to face or solve any situation.
Very helpful, the personal was wonderful, definitely will used them again.

I do not recommend this company or my worst enemy. I had the bad luck of sending a box to my family with this company. In the box there were used clothes and food most clothes were for my little niece. They picked it up on January 15 and The box was delivered on 07/02/20. To my surprise in the box there was not even a quarter of what I sent to my niece they opened the box and rummaged through all the things The things that I put in the middle my mom found her down And there were a number of things missing my mom I found it strange that the box arrived sunk and with a great emptiness when I was the one who made the box I told him that I had to leave things outside because I had no more space in the box.
