The first vehicle was not properly cleaned and prepared for the next customer. I understand oversights happen and would have simply taken the car as it was. The gentleman working insisted on making sure I received the best possible quality of service and quickly made ready a recent return. Very courteous and polite.

Great Experience. I have been renting from Hertz for years and actually stopped because of poor customer service. I thought I would try them out again and when I got to the location they were short of cars and did not have the vehicle I needed. Brian Jones, the manager associate called several places to find me a appropriate vehicle when he was already busy and dealing with a car shortage. Because of Brian I will continue to rent from Hertz again. Good job Brian. Give this man a raise! Brian needs to retrain some of your hertz associates.

They were kind, easy to work with, and I was very pleased with their customer service. The car was clean 👌 I did notice a door ding on my door, but forgot to inspect the car first. I am hoping I do not get charged for scratches already on it.
Do not rent from this Hertz location. Their customer service is absolutely disgusting. They will lie to you and say they have no vehicles on the lot just to back you into a corner and make you pay an up charge if you want a vehicle to attend a funeral. Mind you, the vehicle was on the lot the whole time and was both dirty and not up to date on its maintenance services. I will never rent from Hertz again after my experience at this location.
Pickup:I had a 12:00 PM appointment for pickup. Upon arrival, I was informed that they didnt have the car I ordered. They tried giving me an SUV when I ordered a car for better gas mileage. I told them it was fine. They then said it was on empty because it was just returned and needed to be filled up. I waited 30 minutes for this to happen and it never did. I then told them I was in a hurry and asked if I could just get a car like what I originally ordered. I was told there was none available. I was told because of the inconvenience they would put me in an upgraded car. After 20 minutes I was told SORRY but we actually cant do that. They then finally put me in the car after 1 hour. After 1:15 PM they finally gave me this car, which was dirty. They took it around back to sanitize the car. I took it because I was now running 11/2 hours late. After, realizing that it was NASTY, smelled liked smoke and was right under 1/2 half a tank full!1st Call:I called while still in their office. stayed on the phone for almost an HOUR. Just to be told I would have to wait and call back once the car was returned.Drop-off:Dropped off the car cleaner than receive. Also with the same amount of gas received even though I actually paid for a refuel. Which was never refunded!!2nd call:I was on hold for 30 minutes. FINALLY got connected with someone just to be told they could do NOTHING. Apparently I should have filed a complaint online and since I didnt they could do nothing. I tried to explain that because the person on the phone told me to call back, thats what I was doing. NO ONE ever told me to file a complaint online! She then offered me $25 HAHA. After me spending HOURS on these issues. Requested a call from a supervisor because there was no one she could transfer me to.3rd call:Literally the biggest waste of my time! He just repeated nonsense. Because I was told incorrect instruction and didnt complain online. They couldnt do anything. Even thought their representative told me the wrong information!!! I have never dealt with such stupidity in my life!
I would have given it no stars. Here it is 3:00 pm on Monday and I’ve been trying to get a car since Friday. They were rude and they gave a lady that came in after me a van. My insurance had one on reservation and I was supposed to pick it up Monday. They said they wouldn’t have one ready until 2 pm. So I’m without transportation because they didn’t get me that car. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Don’t waste your time or money on this place
DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION-NEVER!!! This location is the worst! I have never been treated so poorly by any retail/service establishment in all of my life. Had a confirmed reservation to pick up at 3:45 pm. Showed up to get our car, was told that they did not have any cars so we were just out of luck. They refused to call another location to get a car for us and told us to call the hertz 800 number. My husband stepped outside to do so and when he asked me to step outside to ask me a question, they locked the door behind us and left the premises! They were rude, they refused to help us and just left us hanging without a car. It was simply unbelievable. They just didnt care and did not want to help us at all. We are a Gold Member and have never been treated this way - EVER! DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS LOCATION-NEVER!!!
I had the absolute worst rental car experience at this location. Horrible customer service, and good luck working with the support staff and Hertz. This company doesnt deserve your business.

Ive rented two vehicles for the last two weekends, both cars werent washed on the outside or the inside wasnt vacuumed. The last vehicle i rented needed to be serviced.
I recently switched to Hertz from Enterprise, hopefully it will get better. They took a return that came in after me before helping me, but it showed me what to expect. NO ONE looked at the return, just took the keys and said goodbye. NO ONE looked over my rental with me, my husband packed it up and I took off. After arriving at my destination and unpacking I see the car is FILTHY, it was not CLEANED and SANITIZED as I was told and there is a big scratch/dent which was hard to see until I washed the car because the outside was dirty as well, I had to clean the driver window before my trip started. Really sad since they have an over abundance of rentalsHoping the return goes much better or Ill be done with Hertz
Although I love hertz unfortunately I experienced renting a car to travel to a funeral and the tire blew out on me and because it being a Friday after 5 hertz was closed thank god. I was able to find a roadside assistance unfortunately I had to spend more than I wanted on a rental. 😖
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If i could give 0 stars I would. We had to argue about getting a vehicle when insurance cleared it. The staff their are either lost, not welcoming. Clearly there for a pay check. They are not informed and never clear. Th staff are all over the place and never on the same page. Lastly, please remember, THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Beware. This place is a nightmare and they do not care whatsoever.

The staff here is rude and make it seem like you are a burden to them once you walk in the door.If my insurance wasn’t paying for this rental I would choose ANYWHERE else to rent from.I’m waiting for a surprise charge when I turn my vehicle in because it was never inspected prior to renting it.If this happens I will legally address the issue.
This location sucks . The two guys at this location are severely incompetent at their jobs. I kept getting holds totalling almost 500 dollars . This is my 3rd time having issues with them
After using Enterprise several times and finding them just getting slower and slower I decided to give Hertz a try. Found a great coupon at Retail Me Not. Got in and out when picking up really quick. No pressure to buy any upgrades or extra insurance. Return was super fast. Will definitely use again in the future.
Had a great conversation with Mr. Livingston on the way back to Hertz! He is such a great guy. The price was significantly cheaper than anywhere else. The car and overall service were great!

The staff sure seemed helpful and kind but when I had an issue with the billing of a car that I had prepaid, somehow NO one was able to help me. I offered to cancel my transaction and rebook it to solve the issue and was assured that was unnecessary. It’s a long and complicated story but know that they weren’t knowledgeable in their jobs and that the misinformation resulted in my being DOUBLE charged for a vehicle that I rented. According to the bigger boss, the problem “can’t be fixed” so I will remain out twice as much money as I was promised I would pay.

We rented an SUV for a short trip. The staff was friendly and helpful and had 0 issues with the pickup or return. In and out. Well definitely consider them in the future

I dont think it is fair that we have to be charged for Sunday when their office is closed and we are not able to return the car on that day...that is not our fault that their office is closed..we shouldnt be charged and have to pay an extra day due to that...and have to wait til Monday to return the car.

Got set up with a car through insurance. When returning the car they falsified damage to the windshield but refused to verify with their pictures, would not connect me with a supervisor and proceeded to charge our card without authorization. If your insurance tries to set you up with Hertz do everything in your power to go through another company!
Used through my insurance and didnt have to pay anything out of pocket which is always great.
James worked diligently with me to get me the car I wanted and did it in a timely manner not once but on 2 different occasions. He personally picked me up and helped me during a crisis with a body shop. Will use the Hendersonville Hertz again if needed.
Some many issues. If booking online would have given a check list major issues would have been avoidable.

Do not do bussiness here. They will rip you off. My insurance company set me up in a rental. I walk in an asked for the car my insurance company is paying for. I wasnt asked about anything extra. I wasnt asked anything but my name. They showed me what my insurance had set up. Ask me for my card. I asked why they said nothing will be charge it just something they have pending until I return the car. They asked me to sign for it so I did. I returned it and they said the couldnt give me receipt until the insurance did something. I though ok. 4 days later Im see a charge for 262.00. So I called to let them know thinking its a mistake. Nope. Said its for the satellite radio. I said why I ask you for what my insurance had set up. He said shows you asked for it. I said no I didnt. Can I speak to a manager. He let me know he was the manager. I said then you know he didnt ask me about anything extra. I wasnt asked anything at all. You said my card wouldnt be charged nothing. He said you sign it. Yes you showed me what my insurance company was covering. Now your saying you asked... Why dont you tell the truth. You are going to run hertz into the ground. People like this is why the world is so messed up. Hes going to see what he can do. Ill let you know if the company lets him get away with this. Guess I shouldve known they were screwing me over and called to confirm with my insurance company... Really... How was I suppost to know they do something like this. Lets see people

Be very careful of Hertz paperwork. It is awful. Read it thoroughly and strike out and add clauses as necessary to ensure the intent is implemented via the legal language. Caveat emptor.
I went with my daughter to make her first car purchase. A month later, the location called and coaxed my daughter to come sign another contract, something about the lender did not approve the loan because the down payment was too large. Two months later my daughter still does not have tags or registration. The manager, Chris Edwards, screams at us for calling. My daughter went and sat at the location, and he left to avoid her. Manager Chris refused to give me home office or supervisor phone. Matter fact, he hangs up, or places us on eternal hold and all he can say is. its out of my hands.Finally, I went to the Nashville Hertz on Briley. I asked for the manager Ron, who treated us with the utmost respect. He made a few phone calls and within five minutes he told us where her tags were as well as when to expect her refund check. He even gave her his phone number in case she needed more information.If you are purchasing a Hertz car, steer clear of this poorly managed location. Go see the Briley/Nashville location to be treated with respect and appreciation.Chris, most certainly, does NOT display the same image as the the other store. If he were my employee, he would be removed as a manager.
Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This particular branch has the rudest manager. They LIED and said my car would be there and it was not. Please look carefully at all the other reviews for this particular branch. Then go with one of their competitors.

I recently had an accident and was referred to hertz through my insurance company so I came to this location and was sent to the rental department where some very under-qualified, and VERY unprofessional employee named KYLE who caused this company to lose business because of his rudeness and unbelievably horrible lack of customer service proceeded to try and tell me that because I was paying with a debit card that he was going to have to run my credit to make sure that I was qualified to even rent a car from them so I told them not to even worry about trying to help me that I was calling my insurance company to change rental companies to Enterprise and not to send any more of their customers to Hertz!!Enterprise picked me up from Hertz within 5 minutes from me calling them and quickly took care of all my needs!!

Dont ever rent from this hertz!! After an accident my car was totaled so an insurance company who filed my claim helped me rent a car from them. It was a terrible experience! First, the car smelled like someone just got done smoking pot in it. It was literally still smoky. I guarantee it was one of their employees. There was even a bottle of blunt effects air freshener in the door. The person in charge that day made me aware but I had to get to work and it was the only car they had available so I had to take it. Not only did the car smell like pot, but it was filthy. Sticky yellow and brown stuff all over the front dash, doors and down inside the cup holders. It took me two hours to get it clean before I would even let my children ride in it. Fast forward two weeks when I returned the car. Before I returned it i made sure the car was spotless. I asked the guy in charge that day if everything checked out and he assured me I did. One week later a charge for 123 dollars came through on my credit card. Furious I called and asked why. No one had an answer. I asked to speak to the manager and they said he was out. I gave them my phone number and was assured he would call me back. He never did. I called back every day for a week and no one would let me speak to a manager and I never received a call back! So I called their headquarters and found out the 122 dollar charge was a cleaning fee!! A cleaning fee for a car that I got smelling of pot and disgustingly dirty and brought back clean! Their headquarters said they could only refund me 50 dollars. The rest would be up to hertz in Hendersonville. After never receiving the rest of my money, I once again tried three days in a row to speak to the manager and never got so much as a phone call back. If anything they should ne paying me for the cleaning fee because that car was disgusting and I had to spend my time to clean it. I will never rent from hertz again! I almost forgot to add that the walk around papers even stated that the car smelled like smoke. Its a sham business and they know they were in the wrong. That why their manager refuses to speak to me! If youre smart you will avoid this place like the plague!
