If you could give negative stars they would be minus 10 at minimum. The saying is you get what you pay for and this holds true. DO NOT RELY ON GETTING YOUR RENTAL, do not assume because you made a reservation that you will actually have a vehicle waiting for you. I reserved ahead of time for a Sunday pick up for business travel and I wake up SUNDAY MORNING to a text message that they couldnt get a vehicle to my pick up location so i should call for the next closest place!!! Are you not a car rental business???? I have a job to do, and that job is NOT to be driving all over creation to find the nearest rental because of your incompetency!! I was fine that you do not have pick up or drop off services, after all, I was getting a great price. But who cares how much it is if there is NO CAR TO RENT!!! free wouldnt even do any good! Absolutely worst customer service ever! I rent on a regular basis for work when travel is open and so do the rest of our company employees all over the United States. I will make sure to get the word out on what a horrible choice this company is and a disgrace to the rental business. I dont have to spell it out what you can do with your vehicle, wherever it may be.
Super upset! We booked a convertible to be picked up today at 12. They call us 3 hours before to say they don’t have a convertible but they can put us in a Camry. Usually id take it and move on but it’s our WEDDING weekend. I don’t know what the hell we would have done if we would have made the pick up date for the day of the wedding. Now we have extra stress to deal with. I think it is super unprofessional to wait to call 3 HOURS BEFORE to let us know. They could have looked in the system days before and seen they would have one and let us know or at least 24 hours before. And yes I understand there is a vehicle shortage because of covid but that is even more reason they should have given more notice.
Terrible, terrible, terrible! We dropped the truck off at our contract drop off date and no one was there. A sign on the door said “washing cars please call…(cell number). When we called it went straight to the Budget 800 number where no one ever answers. We locked the truck, put the keys in a drop box and left. Then 3 days later they charged me a $400 late fee! I called the dealer’s number…always went straight to the 800 number. I was in hold with the 800 number for over an hour on 3 separate calls. Never talked to anyone. Completed and email request. Finally got someone to email me back saying they were going to talk with the dealer then NEVER got back to me. $400 stolen from me and nothing I can do about it. PLEASE go to Uhaul.
We were on a trip to Nashville when our transmission went out. We dropped the car off at the Chevrolet dealership and then after calling around, I chose Budget because their rates were better than the two other companies within a 5 mile radius of the dealership. We were helped by a sweet young lady named Milan who went over and above for us, she was fantastic! I had to call and extend the rental three times because the repairs were taking longer than expected and each time she was so gracious and understanding. Finding this rental company while dealing with the adversity of a breakdown was just one of the blessings we experienced along our journey. If you rent from this branch, I can assure you you won’t be disappointed, Milan wouldn’t let that happen!

The staff is great. Location and access is less than a 1 star. There is no parking, no night drop for Avis car rentals. I rent weekly and have been an Avis customer for years. Now that I’ve moved to Hendersonville will have to switch to another car rental option.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS BUDGET LOCATION. Returned car 31 mins late and was charged $107 additional dollars. No one cared to help with this. MGR was smug and said thats the way it is. Said thats the way it is. If they are this way with that, wonder how they are with any issues.
Rented a Chevy Malibu last week to take on vacation. Easy process, great car, nice employees. Couldnt have gone any better. Dealt with Sam who was a very nice person.

ZERO integrity!!!!! Greedy, selfish money-sucking company that WILL and HAS put making money deceitfully above safety and integrity. If there was a below 0 this place and this company would get it. I was 34 weeks pregnant and the car had to be returned on the morning of a Code Red state of emergency blizzard that hit Tennessee. All Officials ordering people to stay in your homes and not to drive on the roads. Budget was closed and ALL its employees were encouraged to stay home due to how dangerous the weather and roads were. I called corporate and was told I would have to pay the $50 rental fee per day and $30 extension fee per day if I did not get the car there in spite of the weather. So I tried and I got trapped in the weather. My roadside assistance couldnt get to me for 28 hours!!! I was 34 weeks pregnant!!!!! I called repetitively and no one was at the office!!!!! for days, no one was at the office because of how dangerous the weather was but their customers had to find a way there?!?!?!?! Finally the weather subsided and we were able to return the car the following day, again still dangerous and the employees were not even there!!!! I was still $50 charged for not being able to return the car. I cannot believe this company!!! I spoke to the manager, he was incredibly rude, hypocritical and heartless. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor by only charging me $50 and then started ranting about how he is powerful with Budget he makes the decisions and what he says goes. This company has ZERO integrity. Very disappointed. Will Never use this company again.
We picked up a car to drive from Nashville to New Orleans. It start with the fact that the hours of operation was wrong on the website which forced to pick up the car early. The class car we picked was wrong, so we end up paying for higher class. Upon return the location in New Orleans didntd owner the return time and the refund for the gas we were promised. In the end we had to go through customer service to get partial of the refund we were rightfully deserved. Bottom line, we will not be using the service of this location in particular or Budget in general.
We reserved a 26 truck on March 16th to be picked up at 9:00 am on March 30th. We arrive at the Hendersonville, Tn location to pick up the truck and was informed that they didnt have a 26 truck onsite. I asked why not, we have a reservation. The guy behind the counter, I believe his name was Octavious, said that he didnt know why. He then called a few other Budget Rental places and none of them had a 26 truck. At no point did he apologize but actually wanted to know why we were upset. My wife called U-haul and they had a 26 truck available so we asked him to cancel the reservation. He said it will be $150 cancellation fee to do that. We told him he will not charge us $150 to cancel the reservation that his company breached a contract/agreement. He said yes that is the charge if we cancel. I then asked why did my reservation email say it was a $50 cancellation fee if canceled less than 48 hours before pick up time he said it didnt matter. I then called the national customer service line and explained the situation and they canceled it without any fees and were very apologetic. The Hendersonville location specifically really needs to learn customer service and need to learn how to notify people ahead of time that they cannot fulfill a customers request especially when the request was made 2 weeks in advance.

This place is a joke! I will never use this company again! It’s a SCAM !!I booked my rental online and paid for the rental in full $651 and called a week before to confirm everything. They said everything was good and would be ready for pickup on Friday at 12. I arrive to the Hendersonville location at 1:00 and they tell me they don’t have my rental to come back in 30 mins.... ok no big deal, I came back in 30 mins and they asked for my card I reserved the car with and my license. They then proceed to tell me my credit is not high enough to rent the vehicle 😳 unless I pay $344 more for protection!! Wait what??? I said how do you know my credit score from my debit card?? He said “ I can not explain how that works” but we can not rent you the vehicle unless you have a major credit card! Wow!!! Why was this not explained when booking or when I called to confirm?? Here we are ready to leave on vacation and now they tell me I have to pay $344 more to rent it!!! At this point I feel it’s a scam and I’m sooooo mad!!! I said ok, just refund my $651 on my card and I will go somewhere else. He said “you will have to call customer service”. What??? Wow!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!! So I call customer service right then and there to have them refund my money. While I’m on hold, he proceeds to tell me he can do the rental for $758 I said ok I will pay $100 extra and just go so we can start our vacation! He proceeds to do the paperwork and the charge is $853😳😳 I paid it because I was in a pickle and had no choice at this point but I really feel they are scamming people by doing this!! I would stay far away from this company!!!!
I have had the worst experience of my wife while trying to have a good time with the rental car they gave me a vehicle with Bad tires which caused a blowout messed up my contract and charged my card extra and dont seem to want to help. We had to sit for three hours to wait with this POS van while the tow truck cruised its way to us at witch time we choose to cut our contract short. I will never use this company again and if I could I would give them zero stars
Horrible company my reservation for my truck and towing equipment was for 10 my towing equipment did not get there until 5 PM. It completely messed up my schedule to live. Worst moving experience of my life never will I ever return to budget again!
Watch out for these people. They are in cahoots with Dads Towing and will tow any vehicle left in the lot next to the building even though there is nowhere to park in front of the building.They should be ashamed of themselves

I rented a car 6/23/17 to 6/26/17 people were nice and car was good. I could not rate a 5 because no secure place to park your car.
My rental was for noon. It was 2 pm before the car got there. I understand that it takes a while to get cars moved around Nashville with the traffic.
If I Could give it 0 stars I would but it makes us pick at least 1. LOLPlanned a trip 2 months prior and made a reservation. Called Every week for 3 weeks to make sure they had a Jetta. I get there on my way to work to pick up the car and the sales rep ask me if I have a credit card or debit card, of which I had a debt card. Then he tells me I need to do a soft credit check. None of this was mentioned prior AT ALL. He took my drivers license and then says I was reject to rent ANY car. Even tho I have clean credit I was denied a rental for the 1st time in my 35 yrs on earth. His only explanation was I dont know Explain to me how a credit check can be done without a social sec #??? And then denied based on that info. Shameful!!!! I lived in different cities and NEVER heard of anything so stupid. They cost themselves to lose their own buisness. Went to Enterprise down the street and got a rental with no problems. Paid $100 extra but Ur better off Goin to Enterprise

They put us in a vehicle that was losing oil pressure. Then when we tried to get a replacement, we were put on hold for 50 minutes!!!! Took half a day just to get a replacement
