Very disappointed. Have used Keith and Helping Hands many times in th past and referred numerous people to them. But this time they dropped the ball big time. Came out to fix our refriderator the first time after it had been making a terrible noise and not working. They said it was frozen and once thawed out it would be okay. Worked for a few days beofre the terrible noise came back and we called them and they said they knew the issue and had to order a part. No problem. They called saying the part was in and we set an appointment in the future and I made sure someone would be home from 12-3PM on that date as they specified. Got a call from them first around 9am saying my part was in and I reminded them they had already called and made an appointment to fix today. They said, oh yeah, thats right but 3:00 and then 3:30 came and went with no call, nothing. I texted them told them to not worry about it now and we would just get a new refridgerator. Just very disappointed

I work midnights and my wife called due to our deep freezer not staying cold. they told her a couple things that could be wrong with it over the phone and then explained how it would not be worth the money to come out and fix it for her to buy a new one. So already knowing the things wrong with it, i went online and ordered the fan and will replace it my self. Sorry but spending what would have been 200$ vs 1,000-2,000$. yeah i rather not use this company.

I had a refrigerator problem and called them up. I told them what it was doing and they diagnosed the problem over the phone. After repairs were done, the problem wasnt fixed. I called them back up and they came back out. After checking it out again, they said the part it really needs is not available but could be manually over ridden. Tried that for a week then just bought another refrigerator because that didnt work either. 2 fixes didnt work!

Today was awesome. Painless. My repair was done in a timely manner with the greatest professionalism. Cost was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company. JC was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done and then fixed my refrigerator. Great Job.

In the days of amazon and google its nice to have a local spot still serving a community since before Google and Amazon. Support local businesses. Sure they might be a couple of bucks more but is it not worth keeping a local place around so when youre in a pinch theres somewhere we can go and get a part the same day. Very knowledgeable staff and probably have any part youre looking for

When I described what was wrong with my front-loading Samsung washer, Helping Hand ordered a new pump before they came. When he disassembled the machine, he discovered that the problem was a clogged hose. He cleared the clog, did not make me buy the pump he had already ordered at his expense, and charged me only for the service call. I highly recommend this ethical and thorough business.

After all of the great reviews, I called Helping Hands to fix my older Maytag Washer. I spent about $90 for a repairman to come out a couple weeks ago and replace a belt. After about a day ... washer stopped working again. I discovered that he only replaced one of the two belts and he told my husband that he found one in his truck that would fit? Now if you replace an old belt, why get one that is the same size as the bad one??? Like Duh ... the old one is stretched out! So we call the repairman back and he refuses to come back out. Says the washer needs a new transmission and would cost over $600 to repair. Tells us to buy a new washer! So I order a set of the correct size belts online for $7.00 with free shipping. Put them on and washer works. BUT, it stops in the middle of the cycles. I turn it off and back on and it works. So I got a new lid switch for $11.50 again with free shipping. Replaced the switch tonight and my washer is working perfectly now! Glad I didnt take his advice and buy a new washer. For less than $20 I fixed it myself!

I put in a request the night before on the website & received a callback around 8:00am the next morning. The issue with my Fridge seemed to have resolved itself after being unplugged & plugged back in.When I called to let him know I no longer needed a service call, he advised it was likely from a power surge & recommend I get a surge protector (which I just ordered on Amazon).He was very friendly & asked questions to help determine if I still needed to have the fridge looked at & did not try to pressure me into an unnecessary service call. If the fridge acts up again I’m definitely calling back. :)

The guy who came out definitely went above and beyond. He took his time and explained what could have caused the issue, did not try to upsell anything, and even did work that was not expected from him at all like try to see if there was a lint clog in my dryer vent in my wall. Helping hands will definitely be my go-to from now on.

I will never use any other appliance repair company. Keith Puckett is a kind, caring, honest man. I used this company 6 years ago and my dryer was having issues again. We thought it was a Fuze, ended up needing a motor. He has made 4 house calls and labor and ordered a motor. Was going to be a 200 fix. Well he came again to work on my dryer and was able to fix without the new motor and was honest instead of saying i installed new motor ands charging me, he said no charge and got my dryer going.. what a blessing. I needed that. You want a honest repair company this is your man. Amazing Amazing. Not many honest people left. Heres one

I am told this person is very honest, which may be true. He did give me good advice about some of my appliances and how to help them run better. However, he was an hour late for the appointment, without apology or notice that he was running late. I found him overall to be abrasive, irritable and in a hurry, as if he just wanted to get it done and over with. Was almost rude on the phone with the home warranty company. Forgot one of the three issues which I mentioned twice, both on the phone and when he arrived. He did call the next day about that issue, which was thoughtful. However, he minimized his own responsibility by claiming I mentioned it in passing, which I did not; I was clear that was one of the issues I was having with the appliance. That issue is still not fixed. It may be that he was just having a bad day, but professionalism dictates we leave our bad day at the door and dont take it out on customers. I would not be comfortable calling him again because of his abrasiveness.

We just had a service call completed by Keith Puckett, and we were impressed with him. We submitted our request online, which he responded to within a few minutes. Keith told me he would be there the next day b/t noon and 3pm, and he arrived the next day at 12:15pm, but he called about ten minutes before he arrived to confirm. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He fixed the problem quickly, educated us about what he did to repair it and how to prevent the same problem in the future. And he charged me to the penny what he said he was going to charge me the first time we spoke, so there were no surprises. Keith Puckett, thank you!

Cant recommend these guys enough. Keith is the best!!! Texted them at 11:45am this morning letting him know I was having an issue with our fridge. He called back within minutes and was here less than an hour later. The part he suspected on the phone was indeed bad. He swapped it out and charged exactly what he quoted when we spoke. Not only was he super fast getting here and fixing the issue, I also appreciate his total honesty. On the phone he told me the one thing would be an easy fix if it was what he suspected, while the other thing it could be could be repaired but it wouldnt be worth the cost and to just replace the fridge. Mr Puckett has been great, and super helpful. I left an email message for him, through the website, on Thursday evening and he had called to set up an appointment by 10:30 on Friday morning. He was very personable, explained his rates, and asked all the pertinent info about our washing machine.On the day of the appointment, he called several hours early to let me know there had been a cancellation and to ask if he should come earlier. My husband was able to meet him within the hour. My husband explained the problems, and Mr Puckett was able to immediately diagnose the problem (bad bearings), let us know that it would be cheaper to buy a new machine than fix our broken one, gave us recommendations about how to get the most out of the remaining life of our washing machine, and didnt even charge us for his time, despite my husband offering to pay the service call fee ($74.99).Overall, were very happy with our experience, despite our dying washing machine, and would recommend this service to anyone.

Its hard to find service companys that you absolutely can trust and that you dont feel are constantly trying to sell you something you dont need. I can tell anyone reading this review that Helping Hands is honest, reputable, and knoweledgable. They came out on a Saturday and fixed my dishwasher in minutes. Their pricing was extremely fair, and the tech was very personable. They have earned my business for life.
