This place was great, never had any issues and if I did, they were usually small inconveniences that were taken care of in a timely matter. Office was polite and the environment is beautiful and peaceful. The apartment itself was great for my needs and not too overpriced. I stayed for 1 year and the only reason I am leaving is to be closer to work. If that wasnt the case, I would have stayed much longer.
My husband and I just renewed our lease here and we have loved it! Maintenance is beyond amazing (even for extremely minor things Ive never had to wait more than a day), Lisa is great, and the home itself is nice too. Ill say that there are a couple of aspects of our home (our sliding door and the railing up the stairs) that are a bit dated, but that would really be my only negative. Overall, we are extremely happy here and plan to stay for a while.
The office staff beyond amazing! The maintenance man David so smart and just amazing! Amazing boat dock views amazing fishing. Love my home i am beyond blessed
The apartments we were shown looked absolutely nothing like the apartment we moved into. The laminate on the new marble counter tops was peeling, and when we were told our apartment would come with a washer and dryer after signing the lease we were told our apartment didnt have one but if it was an issue they could put one in for us. I had no problem with this, but it was 6 months before it even showed up, and then sat at the bottom of the stairs for another 2 weeks before being put in. Then when they did put it in, the dryer vent wasnt longelong to reach the vent in the ceiling, so the apartment was moist and overly hot every time I needed to do laundry. The only nice thing I can say about this complex is that the neighbors are extremely nice, the woman who works the desk with Destiny is beyond sweet, and the view is beautiful. The apartment itself was not worth $1000. Ive lived in nicer places for hundreds cheaper
My husband and I have lived here for about 6 months and we absolutely love it! The office staff is so helpful and kind, maintenance is extremely responsive and Ive never had even a minor issue wait more than a week. Im in a townhouse and we love it. The apartments are kept up really well and we have a lot of storage space. I 100% recommend Ventana to anyone looking for an apartment in Hendersonville!
I lived here from September of last year to January. It was horrible from day 1. Cockroaches everywhere in my apartment from the first day I moved in. They came and sprayed twice but it’s as horrible. Also, our apartment almost flooded on thanksgiving and I called the emergency line. Nobody answered. Thankfully we got it stopped. Bad paint jobs, poor patching, air not working properly. We were told we would have a washer and dryer in unit and didn’t. Hated all of it. Would not recommend. Beautiful view. Just not worth it.
Don’t move here...
Quiet, Safe, Tons of Nature, Fishing Dock right on the River. I moved here about 4 months ago and so far, my experience has been very positive. The new manager, Destiny, was extremely helpful in helping me with the move in process, as I was apartment hunting from out of state. The property is very quiet and well maintained. There are 2 cops who live here, and many more that patrol the neighborhood surrounding our property, so I always feel safe.Schools are nearby as well as many, many nature access paths and places you can visit to view the river. On property, there is a private fishing dock where you can fish from or kayak/ paddle board off of.Apartments are recently renovated, so there are lots of big windows to let in light, nice cabinets and appliances. If I ever have a maintenance need, they respond very promptly. Each unit has a private deck so you can enjoy being outside. There is a gym that you can access 24/7 and also a pool where the kids love playing in the summer months.I appreciate that this property is tucked away from the city, so there really is never a noise issue. And about a 25 minute drive into downtown Nashville. Posting this review, because when I was first apartment hunting, the previous reviews seemed off putting, but I believe with the recent management changes things must have certainly been turned around quickly since I moved here.Great place for families or single tenants who appreciate peaceful nature surroundings as well as access to the city life should they want it!
The staff all around is so friendly and helpful, its right on the water, great, quiet, friendly, clean community. We love it here!!
I really love this place! The staff is amazing! Everyone is super nice! The pool is immaculate and it is very clean here! The only downside for us were our neighbors and of course you can’t pick them! We have lived here a yr and the only reason we are leaving is the commute to our jobs and the traffic! Maintenance is fast and efficient and if you ever have a problem they go out of their way to fix it!
Love it here. The staff is wonderful especially Destiny, the grounds are beautiful with the woods and lake! Sad to leave to Knoxville! Would definitely recommend to everyone!
Love the apartment. Wish they would call me back when I call. They fix problems in the apartment fairly quickly. They also allow pets which is nice too.
I have lived here for almost a year. I have been completely satisfied! The staff here are wonderful! The apartments are not new But have been rentovated well. We have had some small issues with wiring and our heating and air, which is understandable with an older building. However, I must say that the office and maintenance staff have been wonderful! They were quick to respond to any concern and were diligent in getting any problem taken care of! The new management have been taking action on keeping the grounds beautiful, and you can’t beat the location I’d you enjoy the lake and outdoors!!
If you want water to rain from your ceiling atleast once a month, black mold, horrible plumbing that doesnt flush and non drinkable water every other day, all with having to fight roaches and bed bugs this is the place for yo
I liked my apartment, but floors were super squeaky. Could hear everything going on above me. The ventless washer/dryer combo wasnt so awesome either but overall was a mostly pleasant year here. A few rebel flags/redneck types make for a somewhat unwelcoming atmosphere, but was otherwise a very diverse neighborhood.
The remodel they are doing is beautiful. But make sure if you do decide to move in, your unit is not next to one that hasnt been redone, unless you dont mind 7days a week of pounding on your walls until they finish. Hopefully the remodel will be done soon because all the work is very inconvenient.
I lived here for two years. For the first year, it was great, I had a cute, quiet little apartment. Maintenance was quick to respond, and even though my apartment FLOODED, they were happy to install a nice drain outside (for all the good it did after the landscaping crews mulched over it). Then the place got sold, and remodel began. OH DEAR LORD. They put a GIANT WINDOW in my cute, quiet little living room. WHILE I STILL LIVED THERE. For the last 6 months I lived there, I had men working in my now-in-shambles living room during the day. Hey, by the way, I work at night. Also, I was right underneath the office. The ladies in the office are great, Mrs. Breedlove was wonderful at addressing my many concerns, including not wearing heels on the wood flooring above my bedroom. Im so thankful for that. Then there was the time the water heater in the office broke, and began to leak... into my hallway. I immediately ran upstairs and notified a man in the office (I had never seen him before). The next day, the ceiling had fallen in, and I ran back upstairs. Action was taken the second time around.I moved after being given notice of a $120 monthly rent increase. For the newly remodeled apartments, Id say go for it. I loved the location.
The place looks very nice and pretty because of the lake but we just recently move and from day one issues start coming out its been 2 months and we are so ready to move out they never fix nothing they even have a 24 hours emergency number that you call and dont answer untill 3 hours later so not the best place we trying to transfer somewere else not a good place
Ive lived at Ventana since August, and recently I upgraded to a larger unit on the water. In addition to a quiet, comfortable setting nestled along the lake, the facility offers numerous amenities for a reasonable price. I frequently use the fitness center, walk along the waterside, and stroll down to the greenway, which is less than a half mile away. One of the things many people dont know is that the property just changed hands and the entire staff changed. The new staff is courteous, and the grounds are immaculately kept. Also, the maintenance team is top-notch, responsive, and effective. Even for major issues, one call is all it takes. And those calls are quite rare. Its absolutely worth a look for anyone who works in Nashville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, or other areas in north-Central Tennessee. I love it here.
My experience here has not been all that great. The staff is fake and not very helpful. I didnt know we had anyone for maintenance...new to me! My neighbors are the worst...noisy ASS demons from hell and management has yet to address the issue. The so called upgrades are terrible...looks like a pre-k crafts project. I am really considering breaking my lease...I hate coming home...so RET TA GO!!
The staff are wonderful, the lake is so peaceful.
Currently live here for college, The apartments are very poorly constructed, Doors do not sit flush, gaps in the baseboards, poor quality of paint just splattered on, the lawn care team does an absolute garbage job. NOT WORTH THE RENT PRICE. The only thing redeeming of the apartment complex is the lakeside view.
The lake view is beautiful and the reason we went with these apartments sight unseen. We were moving from out of state and couldnt get it to see them before and we were fed a lot of lies. We were told the unit we were moving into was 1300 square feet but it turned out to be less than 1100, we were told the unit would be cleaned upon move in but it was filthy and we were told we would not pay a pet deposit because of a special they were running and they hit us with a $300 deposit after signing the lease that put us in a bind financially.Since moving in just over a month ago, we have had nothing but issues. Flooring started peeling up, garbage disposal makes a horrid sound, outlets dont work, screens are missing allowing spiders to come in and now were dealing with mold. Weve called the maintenance line several times to have them come out to resolve the leak in the bathroom wall that is causing the mold and no one has shown up yet. My husband and I have taken time off work to ensure we are here when they come to fix it but they never come. To top it off, one of the leasing agents called to tell me someone tried to stop by but they couldnt get in. When I told her this was impossible as I was home at the time she argued and hung up. Its become pretty clear to us that they do not intend to resolve our issues so after just over a month of living here, we are already hunting for a new place to call home and this just isnt a great place or even a good place to live.
I lived there over 10 yrs ago it was horible.my brother tried to hang up a picture in the kitchen all he did tap the nail but turned out it has been dry walled tried to charge us for it.my brother and i worked nights they always try to wake us up in the morning when the bug came.
Horrible place to live the rent is too high and the apartments are j un THE BLACK MAN RECEPTIONIST IS A BASTARD RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I LIVE HERE WE ARE SUING THE NEW OWNERS THEY SUCK STAY AWAY
Its right on the lake
