I have been taking my dog to this vet for more then 4 years. For the most part it has been a good Vet unfortunately they have changed there hours of operations and it does not work for me I wish they were still open until 7 PM. I have to find a new vet. Valley Ranch is reasonably priced and my dog is always happy going there. When I have had a dog in the past that was abused by a Vet this means a lot that she is happy there that means they take pride in servicing there animals
Always friendly staff, clean environment, and well communicated concerns and treatment plans.
I took my new puppy to this vet because all of my neighbors love them. Anytime I call there, Im always on hold for at least 10 min before I can even talk to someone. I went to my first appointment and waited 20 minutes. They did a fecal test to make sure my puppies issue was not worms. They told me they would call me with results within 48 hours. 72 hours later I didnt receive any call so I called and she told me the doctor would call me back, which she didnt. Today is day #4 of STILL no results and I was told again that the doctor would call me back and AGAIN no call back from the doctor. Im seriously about to go into the office tomorrow morning and demand to speak with someone. Now Im worried my dog has worms or a parasite because if the results were negative then cant they just tell me that over the phone? What result constitutes the doctor needing to talk to me? Its kind of negligent on their part because if there is something wrong then shouldnt I be told right away? Needless to say, Im not going back to this office.
Vets are all top-notch and really care about your pets, not just making a buck.
Since moving to Las Vegas I have been over the moon pleased with the care my Jackson receives at Valley ranch Animal Hospital
My 18yo indoor cat had what looked like blood in his stool. I reported this to the receptionist. I was told I could bring in a sample, which I did. I called the next day and was told the results were negative for worms and parasites. They did not check for blood. I was told the test they did wasnt able to detect blood. A different test, which they did not do, could detect blood but would also require a vet visit. I did not receive this information until the day after I was charged $28 for a test that did not detect what I requested and thought I was paying for. I expressed my disappointment regarding efficiency of their front office and was told I was assisted by the new girl. They did not offer to refund $28, nor did they show concern for my cat who might have blood in his stool. This is not the first experience Ive had with inefficiency at this clinic. The Vetrenary care may be good, but the service at the front desk is not.
Professional services are procured based on qualifications and performance. Not cost and compromising considerations! Dr. Reese, the staff and Valley Ranch Animal Hospital have provided my family, my pets, the full array of services and have proven professional, consistent and qualified. For years!I dont value shop my loved ones health care, so I refrain from comment on costs to not enable such non-considerstions. I do offer high regard when giving a recommendation.
The service is excellent. The workers are very nice kind and friendly. When youre there you dont be in a rush to go home they make you feel at home and that treatment for your animals are excellent. They work with you.

I wish I would have found them sooner! The staff is very kind and friendly. Its safe for my cats, and I feel very comfortable taking them there. One of my cats is terrified of going to the vet, and they did an amazing job handling her. They explain everything well. The hospital is safe and clean. I recommend to anyone with a pet!
Dr. Reese and Valley Ranch Vets have been our vet of choice for 13 years. They provide a full range of services and have office hours 7 days a week for emergencies. The care they have given our dogs over the years has always been excellent. We have even boarded with them several times and have always been pleased with the service. The fees are also very reasonable. Ive often recommended them to other dog owners I know.

We have been taking our dogs to Valley Ranch Animal Hospital for many years. The front desk ladies are always friendly and welcoming. I like how they greet our dogs as well as me when we come in for a visit. The doctors are incredible. They have seen us through good times and bad. Sometimes you hear of veterinarian s turning cold because they deal with so much grief. Valley Ranch veterinarians are the opposite, they are more compassionate. We once lost both our dogs within a day of each other and Valley Ranch was there to help us give our pets a peaceful end, and then also help us through such a bad emotional time. I highly reccomend them for your family pets. They are wonderful and really care about animals.
No improvements are necessary. I am beyond amazed at the steps you have all taken to ensure both staff and patient safety. I held off on bringing my dog in during this time of COVID-19 but realized that this appointment was much needed. I’m so thankful that the whole process was smooth, quick and safe. Thank you all!
Honestly this is the best vet in town. They are always so sincere and treat you and your babies with such respect. They are very caring so helpful. My little buddy Roofus has a procedure done and the same night he managed to get his bandage off his head while I was sleeping mind you this is all while he had his cone of shame on lol. So I brought him back the next day and Dr Anderson personally came out to the car to see what had happened and talked with me. He decided he wanted to drain his ear again and re wrapped his ear/head to secure the ear. I feel if I was somewhere else I would of only seen a tech or assistant at my car. They truly do care about your fur babies at Valley Ranch
We’ve been clients for 15 years, generally enjoy interacting with your staff, but visited twice with different pets in last few days and have been more impressed than usual. Often in past you have been shorter staffed at front desk, last few days there have been several more people and they’ve all been very friendly and efficient. The Vet Tech who took notes on my cat Lola this past Saturday was exceptional - feel badly I didn’t catch his name but he was a rockstar. Super attentive, asked lots of questions as he was taking down her background, super knowledgeable and friendly. Cheers!

I have two dogs and three cats, and Im almost positive that over the last few years, theyve all been treated and/or groomed, some more than once. Although we did really like our last vet, its no comparison. Your staff is INCREDIBLE! Abby is doing so much better without all that heavy weight of dense curls. And while her head is so small without the hair, especially compared to her solid body, she is so incredibly happy now! She now bounds outside and chases the kids and yesterday, outwrestled Rex, probably twice her weight! Thank you so much for fitting us in ON THE SAME DAY!! I will continue to refer all my pet-owning friends to you.
I showed up for an appointment and called at 7:50 and got a call center. The lady took my info and said that she would tell them that I am here. So I finally went in at 820 to see what was going on and the lady told me that they were busy and I would need to wait. What’s the point of making an appointment if you have to wait for walk ins to get done first. I don’t know what happened to them they use to be so good. I’ve been using them for over 10 years. So irritated I probably won’t use them in the future.

We had our first visit on 10/4 for bath and nail clipping. They took good care of our cats and they came home with soft fur and smelling great. Their staff are courteous and provide regular contact from scheduling to pick up.
These guys are GREAT! I was able to make an appointment the next day plus I didnt have to wait. They are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Brought my cats medication out to the car the following days no problem.
My dogs are family. When my beloved Labradoodle Bensley need complicated eye surgery, Dr. Hamilton suggested surgery rather than just removing his eye. The staff took amazing care of him and hes now approaching 12. And when my beloved Siamese cat died and I was inconsolable, everyone in the clinic comforted me the best they could. They are professional and empathetic. I used to live around the corner but have since moved to Summerlin. But I still drive to Valley Ranch Animal Hospital because I wont use any other vet.

This was my daughters first time going to this vet, she just moved here from California. She trusted them with her baby who is only 8 years old and healthy for a routine teeth cleaning. Unfortunately her baby passed away due to the vet removing 27 teeth. Please keep in mind that her chihuahua was only 3lbs and any competent dr would have known not to put that kind of stress on any dog let alone a 3lb chihuahua. Please be aware and do not trust your dogs care with them.

I have been using this vet for 5 years. The office staff has not been the friendliest, but for simple vaccinations and nail trims, it was a convenient location. Unfortunately, this all changed when I was told that my dog was actually sick. I was going out of town, so I arranged for my adult son to bring my dog in for her appointment. They were both left sitting in the car for over an hour in 115 degree temps in July. When he went to the door to find out what was going on, he was told they lost the file. When I was called later that day, by a female vet, I was told they would need to do additional tests to know what was wrong, and it would be no more than $250. I approved the tests, and my dog was kept overnight. The next day, I was called by a fast talking, pushy, arrogant, and condescending male vet who told me they still didnt know what was wrong, but they could do more tests. I expressed my displeasure at how things had gone up to that point, and he told me their unprofessionalism and previously given information was not important, and what I needed to focus on was my baby. He questioned my commitment to her health and repeatedly asked how far I was willing to go ($$$$), even though he told me that more tests would rule out conditions and only a biopsy would definitively show if she has cancer or not. $750 later, we learned nothing new, so I asked what other treatments, medications, or change of diet we could do to improve the health and quality of life of my 12 year old dog. My questions were ignored. If I wasnt going to approve more tests or chemotherapy, then he had no reason to continue the discussion. I will absolutely not go back. They run their practice like a shady used car lot for pets. Coincidentally, I found out that my nephew had almost the identical experience at about the same time. He was charged hundreds of dollars for tests, and they still couldnt tell him what was wrong with his dog. If all you need is shots or grooming, this vet is sufficient, but if your pet actually needs medical care, go someplace else.
We recently adopted a new dog who needed some TLC. Dr Reese was very patient with us and thoroughly answered all of our questions as well as giving us 3 options for care. She performed surgery a few days later leaving our new family member with very little discomfort. She was back to her normal self within a day and her stitches look great. I would 100% recommend Dr Reese. Thank you for helping us with our fur grandma.

The doctors at Valley Ranch Animal Hospital are wonderful and so is all their staff. At a recent visit, due to the Covid-19 problem, they had implemented new procedures to protect their staff and us, as clients. A gowned and masked vet came to my car and confirmed the reason for my visit and explained what they were going to do with our 2 cats. I got to wait in my car and when they returned the cats, the check-out process was handled efficiently over the phone. I certainly appreciated the way they cared for me and our two furry family members. Thanks for the professionalism!

For close to 20 years, I have been taking my animals to VRAH. Two cats, 3 large dogs have had fabulous care and have crossed the bridge. My last cat is still with us, but dealing with liver failure. The vet actually sat and walked through all blood work reports, next steps, and shared the when you k now... process with me. Fabulous team.
Had my 18 year old cat put to sleep. The doctor, Im sorry I dont remember her name,was wonderful and respectful. Carolyn who set us up in a treatment room was very kind and caring. I will definitely recommend Valley Ranch to others.
They go above and beyond with my sweet dogs. Always kind and helpful. I brought in 3 at the same time and one dog was being a bit difficult. The aide baby-sat my 2, whilst I carried the scared one to get weighed. Cant ask for more help than that.
They were very nice, never kept me waiting on the phone too long, they treated my dog sweetly and I was in and out for her yearly shots. Plus, their app is bomb. Ive never been to a vet that has an app, let alone an app that shows you prior history, appt scheduling and whatnot. I will come to animal hospital for all my pets (:

I was able to get an appointment the next day and we were in and out quickly but it didnt feel like they were trying to rush. Everyone was very friendly. My boy is doing much better since his visit and I definitely will be returning.

We have been going here for around 14 years. I do like the service, but I do not like the fact that the Vets seem to change. When I find one I like, sometimes they have left and this has happened many times. Regardless, we get good service here and they run a clean friendly vet office.
Been bringing all my pets here since 2005. Have always been pleased with there services. I use to go to Bonanza at Animal Foundation for all shots and once I discovered Valley Ranch had comparable prices I never made that trek again. It’s very convenient and I feel they really do care.

You are the most proficient Veterinarians we have ever experienced. The pups may be a little jittery, but you always make sure that they are comfortable.
Dr. McCollum and Dr. Reese have been saviors for our two dogs. The care we have receive has always been outstanding. We feel lucky to have them close by and they have always been there and done a great job when weve needed them. We cannot thank them enough for the care our dogs receive from them.
We had loved taking our babies to Valley Ranch for years, however every doctor we have seen and loved has left in the past month!! Dr. Davis, Dr. Stevie, Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Gagliardi are no longer there. I was told when I call to make an appointment with any of the vets that know my pets, and was told I would be seeing someone new. I don’t know what is going on there, but we will be taking our babies somewhere else!
Dr Reese, Aiken and rest of the staff are absolutely fabulous. Margaret and the receptionists are equally appreciated. Our Westie has serious skin allergies and they are always attentive and helpful with treatments. They make it a point to show equal concern about our dogs health. My wife and I appreciate all of you very much.

Whether it was regular checkups or medical emergencies, including end of life care, we have always been treated with competent and compassionate care. While the faces of the all women practice have changed over the years, the quality has not. I have been a loyal customer for 15 years since the day they opened. Many times I have questioned my loyalty but now I am breaking up with them. They are price gouging clients. They require a fecal test every 6 months which no other vet in town does, I know because I called 4 different vets. They also over vaccinate, requiring Bordetella every 6 months. So a $10.00 vaccination turns into $76.00. I am sad to change but I feel like they are about the money anymore. Additionally, the front office staff need customer service training and the take out containers visible to the clients is very unprofessional. I am sure they get lunch and breaks since NV law requires it so they should be required to keep food out of clients view as other business do. Sad to go, but the time has come for me to move on. With some many vet options available locally they are pricing themselves out of loyal customers.
The doctors and staff treat my pups excellent! All of them are knowledgeable, compassionate, and so very kind. Each time I take my pups to be treated, I know my babies have received the best care possible. I recommend them to all pet parents I know or meet.
I am very happy with the service provided my animals over the years. Every doctor I’ve encountered was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and explain test results and procedures. The vet techs are very personable and the people running the front desk do amazing considering the volume of calls and customers that can inundate them at the same time.
I’ve been bringing my cats here for about a year now and every doctor we’ve seen has helped us beyond our expectations, whether it be vaccines and a neuter for our kittens, or pyometra surgery for our senior cat. we also brought one of our cats here to be euthanized and the doctor was very compassionate and made us feel very comfortable with our decision. we recently brought in my sister’s cat on a whim without an appointment due to her missing a large patch of fur from a hot spot, and we were in and out of there in no time. i also really appreciate how they take the time to explain everything they do for your pets and exactly how much it’ll cost so you’re never left with any surprise fees. i don’t think i can trust anywhere else with my fur babies after coming here!

I am so sad to make this review. We have been taking our animals upwards of 15 years to Valley Ranch Animal Hospital. However, we have had not that great of service the last few times but today was the absolute worst! We took 3 of our dogs in to get updated with their vaccinations.The tech who took us back to our room was very good. I went over which shots each dog was to be receiving with her. We had taken one of our dogs to a shot clinic to be updated on her rabies and bordatella. So I was certain to let her know and watched her cross it off of the print outs. We then reverified the shots to be given. She did however tell me to remind her when we checked out so she could update it in the computer system. Then the next tech came in to actually take the dogs one by one back for their shots. First of all she was having a hard time with her mask staying in place. After bringing the first dog back, she mentioned that our dog gave her a bit of difficulty, which this dog is 6 years old and is a love! We have never heard anything like that about this particular dog. She then took the second dog and again some comment was made, but she joked it off by asking if she had a bad scent on her or something. Then she took the third dog and when she brought the third dog back informed me that the second dog had received rabies by mistake. This is the dog who I informed the first tech that she had received rabies already. Then Dr. Mangeli brought our dog back in and proceeded to inform us that she had actually been given rabies and bordatella, neither of which she was due. Her way of fixing this was to one- tell me they weren’t going to charge me for those vaccinations. But then two, the most upsetting one, was that she continued to explain how she was trying to be upfront with me and tell me what happened. My question then was what was the option to lie to me? She also explained how she was the one that gave the shots in error and did not bother to verify the shots with the breed. This is the part that a is completely unacceptable to me. The dog that got the additional shots is the smallest of the 3, weighing only 13 pounds in comparison to her 96 and 92 pound sisters. So, did she also get the wrong dosage? What if it was another type of medication or procedure. This is not okay!At checkout, I asked for an updated rabies certificate for the dog who was given the shot in error because that now changes when she will be due again. Because the vaccines had been removed they could not figure out how to get that for me.Like I started out we have been going here for YEARS. We have loved Dr. Reese and Dr Hamilton, but it feels like things are changing at this
These people are in the CareCredit directory, and in fact they accept CareCredit because I was able to pay them through CareCredit’s app. Nevertheless, they refused to understand that they had been paid and they they are a CareCredit provider. They proceeded to treat my girlfriend rudely in front of other people, ripped up our dog’s medication in front of her, and kicked her out of their office.They are rude, incompetent, and don’t even know what payment methods they accept. I will never go there again. Good riddance!
If you love your pet and want to be treated like family- but in a professional manner you have to visit this animal hospital. All the doctors are wonderful and knowledgeable. The office staff are welcoming and helpful. Dont pass this hospital up!

I brought my 17 year old cat to Dr Hamilton after my previous vet said my cat was dieing and to just making him comfortable. Dr Hamilton ran some tests and found he had a thyroid problem. She prescribed a medication. Because of her skills and caring I still have my loving lap cat. He turns 20 in September. Thanks to Dr Hamilton.

I love the way I and my animals are treated every time we have to go there. I have 2 cats that need fluids twice a week and its always an easy and pleasant experience. The vet techs know my cats and treat them like their own.
They were so accommodating and helpful. Our puppy wasn’t feeling well and they fit us in on their appointment schedule to help us. Now our new baby puppy, Slate, is feeling much better and we are so grateful for Valley Ranch Animal Hospital.
Multiple reasons for giving a five star review!1. We were strongly recommended to see Dr. Stevie Aitken by a friend. When I was making the appointment (it was short notice) I didnt really have a preference for which vet we were going to see, so we ended up seeing Dr. Hannah Hamilton, who I would rave about endlessly.2. Their COVID protocols are seamless with curbside drop off and payment. Every single one of the staff was pleasant and highly competent in walking our dogs (theyre two 70lb solid pit-bull mixes).3. Dr. Hannah was so kind and informative. She explained all of the diagnostic tests our dogs needed and prescriptions our dogs needed (with the dollar amount) before performing them so that we remained informed. We really appreciated her competence in treating Jimbos allergy/skin infection (instead of passing it off as something minor).
Thank you to all the staff in Valley ranch animal hospital and Dr. Stevie. I know you guys are working really hard taking care of all the fur babies who come in during this crisis of COVID-19. The Doctors and staff at Valley Ranch Animal Hospital are the most caring and helpful people I’ve come across for my girls(dobermans). We have been coming here for almost 9 years since they were babies. The Doctors have helped them through the diabetes, cancer and routine checkups and teeth cleaning. We bring them every 2 weeks for baths and nail trimming. The girls even get boarded there when we travel. I have never had dogs in 60 years that enjoy going to the Vets like they do. That tells me they are loved. If you have a pet issue, GO here!!!!!!

I drive from Summerlin to see Dr. Ashley McCullom. Shes improved the quality of life for my super senior 16 year old Maltese. I dont know if hed still be alive without her care.

Our fur baby (cat) had a urinary blockage on Sunday morning. We knew he was in trouble and couldnt get in contact with our regular vet. We called Valley Ranch and they said bring him right in. They were wonderful! Dr. Reese met us at our car (Covid-19 precautions) and took him right in. He had to stay a couple of days but Dr. Reese called us everyday with an update. Hes home now and doing great. We have a new vet now, thank you Dr. Reese and Valley Ranch Animal Hospital!!

My Buddy is treated great when we need help with his shots and nails trimmed. It is clean always and the staff is wonderful. Im a permanent client of theirs.

A customer from the day they opened, over 10-11 years now, they have always been professional and wait times are almost zero in time. Walk in or call for appointment, this is one vet office you can rest assured you will be taken care of...kennel service is outstanding if you use for boarding. Operations (we have had several) are all done immaculately. Facility is always clean. Prices are always the lowest available so we also have teeth cleaning. Feel confident in this Hospital. Highly recommend.
Theres nothing else you could have done job well done.. I dont know if it was the doctor or the tech that took my dog from the room to the back to give him his shot but I really liked her and let me tell you why. When she came in the room she said hello with eye contact she smiled she asked me if she could give my dog a shot in the back room instead of just doing it. when she brang my dog back after the shot she was smiling and laughing. told me my dog belched when he got the shot. And Bam I was out of there.. great place. Awesome staff
