Visiting friends Im from out of town.Stop in to get a haircut without a appointment. They fit me in no problem. Great shop, very clean and upbeat. Oh yeah big shout to Page for the awesome hair cut.

I go here for every haircut since my wife told me about it a year ago. Samuel always makes time to cut my hair and never hurries through the haircut, even if he is behind. By far the best i have found in the area, and possibly the best in Montana. Makes me look professional yet stylish. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great barber under 20 bucks!

Jim, the owner, is the best barber in town. He gives a great haircut and always makes you feel relaxed. Always a clean shop and the other patrons are always friendly. While I cant speak for the ladies out there, I would recommend him to any guy in Helena. I look forward to my haircut every couple of weeks and my conversations with Jim about hunting, our dogs and his business. And if he can tell Im not in the mood to talk and just want to sit there, he will leave me alone. Cant speak highly enough about this place.If you have a haircut you want or have received in the past, I highly recommend bringing in a picture of it for him to go off of. He can recreate a lot of haircuts.

Downtown barber shop is awesome. I don’t like seeing reviews that are negative, he does take appointments so that can affect walk-in. So my advice is come back the next day or schedule a appointment. The man who runs this is the nicest guy I’ve ever met he isn’t rude. He did tell me that just cause his chair is empty doesn’t mean somebody won’t be coming in with appointment. I’ve never scheduled one yet I’ve been lucky he always gets me in. And if I see customers from my truck window I come back. So if you didn’t get a bad hair cut leave your negative Sally comments somewhere else.JT

Shows great respect for his customers, offers all the extras with great attention to detail. His skill with a straight razor is like magic. He managed to give my husband the exact cut he wanted just from a picture with great results. Price was beyond reasonable. Would highly recommend as he is worth the drive into down town.

Custom boots and shoes built around your foot...and they fix stuff too! Only place in town.

Jim is the proprietor of this establishment old school barber does excellent work only charged $17. This is an awesome barber shop.

Extremely rude. Walked in on a quiet Monday midday only to be told with no pleasantries were full all day, despite the walk-ins welcome sign outside and only a single customer inside. No offer for alternative times or suggestions for another barber.

This was quick and professional. It maybe took 20 minutes. I needed a haircut and struggled as everyone that did mens cuts at salons required booking over a week in advance. I found this place and think I will keep going back. I was able to walk in and get a hair cut. Straight razer treatment on hairline was nice too.

Great barbershop. The cut your hair the way you want, not just according to some formula. Nice people too. Flexible times. Plus theyre right next to Starbucks. You can walk anywhere from there.

Horrible customer service, I called asking if they were still going to be open til 5pm, however the man that answered was “BLUNT” and rude. Don’t think I’ll ever be going there, customer service should be the most important!
