I was looking for a barber that owned his own business, and wanted to care for.his customers for the long term. Before coming to Hayward I had the same barber since I was too little to even sit on the chair, and he was my grandfathers barber, so it means a lot to me. This place is exactly like that, offers a very personalized service and makes you feel important. I had my hair cut just before an important job interview and I passed it! Very nice, obviously the haircut wasnt the only reason I got a job but I guessed its always better to appear clean and tidy. Make sure, when you boo your appointment, to specify what you want to do so that its possible to allocate the right amount of time.

Jack knows how to do a solid cut. And he takes his time to make sure hes not only accommodating your requests but also that its going to work with your hair.Ive been coming here for a few months and my most recent visit was just as good as my first visit. Even though he knows me and my hair, hes still taking his time to ask question and make sure that were heading towards the style outcome that I want. This encourages me to maybe ask for something a little different and know that hes willing to listen and adjust.Also, dont be afraid of using stupid words to describe what you want, like I do. Maybe you dont know what the newer modern fades or styles are called. Describe what you want and hell help make it happen.

I accidental came to Mr. Perezs establishment on accident. I meant to go somewhere else but found this place. I have absolutely no regrets going to this guy instead. When you first experience his service, he gives you the run down on how he feels a true haircut experience should be. The guy is incredibly friendly and makes an effort to get to know you. His costumer service is unrivaled by any other place Ive been to. Aside from the character of this guy, he did a fantastic job with my hair. I gave him an idea of what I wanted, but he defined that idea into something better. He was able to provide me with a style that I was extremely happy with. So overall, my experience was great, the barbers skill is great, and the guy in general is great.

Its a good place but the amount of time they do your hair i have been there and it took like 3 hours

Yesterday (6/27/14) was my first time getting a haircut from Jack (yes, he and I are on a first name basis). Although weve just met, I felt like I was having a conversation with a close friend of mine. My search for the best barber/barber shop is finally over. Jack is the real deal, I left that place feeling fresh and clean, I wouldnt mind paying twice what he charges to get that Studio One Treatment he offers! Jack gets an A++ for customer service and another A++ for his barbering skills!

I have been seeing Jack once a month for the past year, and love the experience every time I go in. Jack is a family man with an open heart and knows how to take care of his clients. The cuts are stylish and reasonable for being a graduate student. If you want to support local business in the East Bay, Studio One is the spot!I am moving to Oakland to work as a Chiropractor, but will continue to make the drive to Hayward to see Jack because of the amazing conversations we have and the increase in confidence I have every time I leave.

Jack is an awesome guy and I would highly recommend. I went in and he said I my hair was dry from using an alcohol hair product. I didnt know what was in my hair product till I went back home and sure enough the ingredients listed alcohol. He is up to date to and has alot of knowledge on hair.

Jack is the best. Its great to go to a place where your barber knows exactly what you want. Hes been my regular barber since I moved to the area and all I can say is I cant imagine getting a better cut and style advice anywhere else.

Studio One Barber shop is the best place in Hayward to get a hair cut. Jack has skills and will leave you looking sharp every time. Best service and best hours by far. Just call a day or two in advance and make an appointment, you wont regret it.

This is a really relaxed and professional barber shop. He is the only barber in the shop, so its never loud or crowded, and appointments are always 1 on 1.The barber himself is great at styling hair and beards. Ill never not go here!

If you love your hair do not go to this place. I let my bangs grow out for three months. I went there and told them to only cut the side do not touch the front And now I have half cut in front and half long. When I said not to touch the front! Now I need another three months to grow it and look ridiculous during this time with this bad hair cut is better ho close the shop because hi dont know how do cut the her hi look like probabily was on drog

Ive been searching for a year now looking for the right barber shop for me and Studio One will now be my go to. This place is run by Jack, who you can tell has a passion for what he does and makes sure every one of his customers leaves satisfied and a little more educated about how to maintain lookin sharp until its time to come back.Furthermore, he took what Ive been content with for a couple years and hooked me up with a new look that I love. He even said if after a week it wasnt lookin right, to come back and hed take care of me. That just show the level of service he has and that he stands by his work. Jack is a true pro and works hard to perfect his craft. Come with an idea of what your lookin for (or dont like I did and put it in his capable hands), and you wont be disappointed.

I just happen to stop by, I was lucky there were appoinments before & after me. Mr jack was able to give me an excellent hair cut, I requested an apppointment for a shave.. sure just prior to a phone call came in, he answerd let the person know he was with a client and to please call back if its not an emergency. it was the client letting him know they will be late.. he says Joe if you would like a hot shave now, I have plenty of time.. so if your OLD school or like me with a work in jury n want to keep clean face or trim your beard.. Mr Jack will and can.. hes got the tools and experience..

This guy does not know what hes doing, he cant do modern haircuts and does not know how to style at all. Avoid him if youre looking for modern haircuts
