Very disappointed in the service. First I was thrown by the fact that the doctor came into the room without out her mask on. She responded with, Igot my vaccination shots. She put the mask on and I allowed her to check my teeth. The person who took the pictures was nice and I appreciated she put swabs to stop the pain from the hard end pressing down in your mouth to take extras of the mouth.They were suppose to put a prescription and did not do it. They couldnt get scheduling done correctly for me. I paid in advance and they have yet return my call and return my $250 for service they were not able to do.

This is EASILY the worst experience that I have ever had at any medical facility Here is the breakdown: #1 On one of my visits, after waiting an hour, they told me that they wouldnt be able to see me, and requested that I come back the next day; I did. #2 I specifically made an appointment at a certain time(due to my work schedule) and they would not take me, because they said I made it at a different time, which was false.#3 I had a root canal, and consequently needed a crown. They DID NOT submit approval for my crown! I called, and asked on 2 different occasions, in addition to asking in person. I kept getting something to the affect of, were working on it, or were backed up. After a month, I gave up and attempted to switch dentists. #4 They made this transition as difficult as they possibly could by slamming the phone down on me, being unpleasant to my new dentists office, and refusing to transfer my records unless I paid a $30 fee, which I did not do. Do not go here. It is important to note, the only reason why I stayed so long was because I was deep in the process, and because my insurance only allows certain providers. I also complained to my insurance company about The Smile Spa.

Great staff. Dr. Rosenblatt is personable and knowledgeable. Good work and she keeps up with training to stay current procedures. Interior is being revitalized and looks modern.

Dont bother. I understand Covid has made things a bit challenging for doctors offices, but thats no excuse for the 1.5 hour wait I experienced and the lack of mask wearing by the hygienists and other patients. It took TWO people to do my x-rays which accounted for about 45 minutes of my stay because they clearly didnt know what they were doing. Im sure Dr. Rosenblatt is a good dentist, but I also dont appreciate her making a snide remark about Spanish speakers in a very obviously negative tone because she has had, experience with that (whatever that means.) Very disappointing overall.

I cannot give this place even one star. Dr. Debra Rosenblatt is all about the money and harangues you about out of pocket expenses while you are sitting in the dental chair. I gave her money up front for invisalign and I decided not to return for multiple reasons but especially because her office was so unprofessional and so was she. Rosenblatt told my daughter she had three (3) cavities. My daughter left and refused treatment because all she did was ask her for money. My daughter went to a new dentist and they told her she did not have any cavities. I feel not only is she unprofessional but she is also shady. Rosenblatt has someone new there working every other day. When I ask for my medical and dental records for months and sent a certified, notarized letter and called repeatedly, her office sent my xrays just last week. Her office workers would not give their names and hung up on me. I went to see her this week with an advocate and she refuses to give me a copy of my medical bills for the above and records solely for the reason that she has been receiving $45.00 a month for my invisalign for a year from my insurance company even though I have not been there since December 1, 2019. Also, the medical bills and records would reflect the dates I was there. My insurance company put in a financial complaint and they told me that she says it is unfounded which is not true. That is why Rosenblatt refused to give me my records despite legally they are mine under HEPA laws. The insurance company wants nothing to do with her and dropped her because they said she was difficult to deal with and uncooperative. The next step is Banking & Insurance Fraud and Small Claims Court. PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE! This dentist does not care about her patients, refuses to give me or my insurance company back the money she received for services not rendered and basically thinks I will go away! I have found a wonderful new dentist Thank God! WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

Please if you are sitting in waiting room or in dentist chair get up and leave. If a Negative rating was an option this would not be a one star but a -1. I made the impulsive error of needing to fix a chipped tooth. The office/ dentist tried to do complete.x-rays when my current dentist sent them they X-rays. Then they tried to say the never got it. Second dentist was making excuses to do all kinds of things to my teeth. They are 100 percent not recommended. So please don’t go to this place. I wish I had read the reviews before I made my decision.

Although the staff and Doctor are all very nice and welcoming, I have not had a great experience since the first visit. In the first visit, Dr. R insisted that I get a new treatment done because it would help with deep cleaning my gums since I had not been to the dentist in a while. The treatment, that insurance of course does not cover, included four at home treatments. I have been trying to get in touch with the Dentist for three days now as after the first at home treatment I saw my gums receding.... Ironically she also has me meeting with a gum specialist who is very expensive and works out of her practice during this process. I tried to cancel that apt and still have not heard back, hopefully I hear back soon. Definitely do your research and know what you need done before entering this practice...

There it is Dr. Debra is giving out more free tooth brushes for 5 star reviews. What are those people talking about. Dr. Debra is the worst Dentist in the history of the profession. There is no waiting time to get an appointment as one reviewer put it because for the last 6 months that I have been going to her Ive been the only appointment. You may ask why would it take you 6 months to realize she was so horrible. Well because it took 5 months to get my crown done and for the next 30 days it was hell. She was constantly charging me extra for every visit. She then did impression 3 times for the crown, yes three times and wanted to charge me for each one extra. She also took pictures of my teeth without being asked to do so and wanted to charge me 300. for the pictures. For 30 days I endured surgeries which I didnt approve, fillings which came out after a month a crown which I had to again put in by another dentist. When I told the dentist who re-placed my crown and all the fillings she did. He stated she was infamous. At the end of all this Dr. Debras office issued the 4000 bill of which the insurance paid 2000. Sending me the 2000 balance. Stay away unless you are offered the free electric toothbrush for you 5 star rating. O I forgot to get the Free electric toothbrush you must give the 5 star rating in front of the office staff before you leave. Dont risk your money or you teeth to Dr. Debra you will regret just as I have.

Dentist and staff are friendly. But due to Covid I couldnt pay a big balance that I had so because of that I wasnt seen to get the service that was started a few days ago. I have been making payments now. I dont have money like that to pay the full amount at once. Very inconsiderate so it makes me think its more on the money then anything else. Its not like I wasnt gonna pay. They need to work with patients. I work in a doctors office and we see them regardless of what balance they have. Now I have this whole in my tooth and yeah NOT HAPPY. The prices are too high.

Stay away! Very very unprofessional I got a crown that had to be recemented twice and then I go home for it to break apart the same day and then they expect you to make payments right away. Terrible. I regret going there. Probably one of the worst decisions Ive ever made. And ontop of that they charge me $1000 for procedures they didnt even do

She did a filling for my husband 3 weeks ago. He had to go to another dentist to get it fixed. Apparently, she went in too deep and hit the nerve, he was in critical pain for a few days. Paid extra at the other dentist.

It was necessary to see a dentist after my family dentist for 30 years closed his practice. Dr. Rosenblatt did help me and her bedside manner was acceptable. She did not strike me as someone out to get my money nor did she attempt to do any work that was not necessary.However, I called the office to make an appointment for a consult on my loose bridge. The office instead scheduled me for a deep cleaning, something I did not want. I refused the treatment and was asked to come back the next day. Which I did.As to the cleanliness of the office, It is clean. It may be old and somewhat outdated and could definitely use a re-model, but there was no dust in the corners and the floors seemed clean.

Very welcoming and comforting. Complimentary Beverage services etc. Great place to come to!

The Worst dentist Ever. How can you hire a dental assistant with very bad manners. She was so rude to my mom who didnt understand english. She was getting frustrated and started talking non stop. She spitted on my moms face. We walked out. Find a better dentist in your area and stay away from here.

Someone altered my original review ... A review I was BLACKBALLED into writing before any service would be provided.Stay away!!! With the exception of the lovely staff, this was literally, the most HORRIFIC experience I have ever had at a dentist office.Filthy, outdated equipment and conditions.. (The office hasn’t been updated since the 1970s.) Rosenblatt herself has very poor personal hygiene. She is a scam artist and all about the money.... This was confirmed by my insurance company who are allegedly suing her for falsifying records and submitting bogus claims. There are so many horrible reviews of this woman on the Internet, but they are buried.....Rosenblatt caused me so much more physical pain than I was in when I arrived, and is responsible for irreparable damage to my mouth. I’ve had to see an oral surgeon/ specialist to fix her botch job....

I saw Dr Rosenblatt on 4/7 - she decided to open my tooth and performed a rough and quick root canal and left it wide open, no temporary filling or dressing. I didnt even complain about the tooth she drilled. . She offered no solution to the painful and inflamed area that brought me in as a first timer. Ive been on penicillin for 1 week, the tooth is open, Iand hurting me deep down. I dont know what to do. They also took dozens of x-rays. She was surly and rough. Need to find another option and soon. Avoid.

Smile Spa is absolutely fantastic!!! First off,I didn’t have to wait long for an appointment. Usually it’s weeks before you can be seen. This team got me In right away, and my first appointment Dr. Roseblatt got right to work. They all were made aware that I was recently diagnosed with MS and made sure to speak to my specialist before any work was done.Dr. Rosenblatt went over everything with me before hand and made sure of what I wanted done. Because I’m on medicaid, I told her I only wanted what my insurance would cover. She started off with a root canal, which was essentially painless; any bit of discomfort, Dr. Rosenblatt stopped immediately and gave me more Novocain. When she did my cavities, Dr. Rosenblatt went absolutely above and beyond!! She asked me if I wanted silver or white fillings (silver being covered by insurance) and I knew that with my diagnosis white was the much better choice, but I just couldn’t afford it. I told her silver and she said ok, and kept working. All of a sudden she goes “you know, I’ve read that the silver/mercury fillings really aren’t good for patients with MS. And I just don’t want to cause you anymore problems so I’m going to go ahead and just do the white fillings at no cost to you.” I was absolutely amazed!! I hadn’t even said anything to her about the silver not being good for me. Had I not had tools and suction in my mouth I would have jumped for joy. Thank you so much, Dr. Rosenblatt!! You are incredible!!I highly recommend Smile Spa to anyone and everyone.

Horrible experience. Dr. Rosenblatts office is not ethical in their billing practices so beware! Dr. Rosenblatt told me the front desk checked with my insurance company before proceeding to work on my temporary crown placement. Once the procedure was complete her secretary attempted to charge me $500 dollars claiming the temporary crown was not covered by my insurance. I felt uncomfortable paying that amount of money so I insisted I check with my insurance company. The secretary gave a procedure code so I could check with DeltaCare USA. When I called Delta the rep told me the code was invalid and the deductible was $385 for the permanent crown only. So where did the $500 charge come from? I switched dental practices right away. If you are a current patient make sure you get a categorized break down of how much the procedures are costing you!

Worst dentist ever! Not only does she rip people off and tell you that your teeth need to be bleached and that you need to see their gum specialist, she has horrible manners. She is rude, abrasive, and unpleasant to be around. Ive been twice, and the last time I went, I watched as a man came to retrieve his dental records, which the office gave him a hard time about (due to him probably switching dentists). She tried to force me to pay out of pocket for a filling simply because my insurance wouldnt cooperate, but she wouldnt give us much time to work things out, as she tried to force me to get the filling the day of. Oh and the worst part is, she forces you to write a review on yelp before you leave the office, which you do on a piece of paper which will be handed back to them. How could you say something bad and watch them read it in front of your face... you cant. Which is why there are plenty of forced and fabricated five star reviews about her services.

After having me wait a hour and a half in the waiting room they ended up telling me they weren’t going to be able to see my son, for a regular six month follow up/clean up, because the procedure they were doing was going to “take too long”. Instead of telling me as soon as I got there or called me to give me a heads up. I had an appointment btw....That was ridiculous!! They also lie to you so you can go back to do procedures that you don’t even need. Thank god I never fell for it & I can keep going..... I finally changed our dentist!

This doctor and her staff were very professional and so sweet. I have never been thru such a through exam before. She got right down to business and began working on my teeth including a cleaning. I would highly recommend them to everyone. It was a pleasurable experience at the dentist.

I work with Dr. Rosenblatt on the business side of things and it seems to me that patient care is her top priority. She seems to be highly experienced & understanding of patients. I dont know what it is to be her patient but from a business standpoint shes pretty good and very caring of her patients.

People think going to the dentist is supposed to be scary but my experience with Dr. Rosenblatt and The Smile Spa couldnt be anything further from that. They got me in on short notice when I had an emergency, took the time to explain my treatment plan, took me out of pain, and fixed me up in no time. When I first went there I told her I had UFT insurance. She quickly went to work and without consulting me did a lot of work and did some things not covered by insurance. She charged me for the work about $1100 above the insurance cost. When I found out how much I emphatically told her I could not afford this and that she should only do what is approved by the insurance and after I know how much out of pocket I would have to pay. I paid an additional $150.00 for work on my gums and was assured that this was all I had to pay for the work on my gums. I then received a bill saying I owe $1880 when I did not go back and had no additional work. I currently have a temporary tooth and a nub on another tooth area because the temporary fell twice and then I must of swallowed it in my sleep the third time.

This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. Besides the office being disgusting and disorganized, the staff did not seem to know who had appointments when, etc. The dentist lied to me and said I had a serious issue with my teeth that would require surgery unless I spent over 600 dollars out of pocket to bleach my teeth. After paying the entire 600 dollars up front ( as demanded) I was met by a staff person a week later and given trays and bleach and barely told how to use it. The staff explained she was not the person who was supposed to do this. In addition to the at home directionless kit I was supposed to have an hour session with the dentist in a chair for whitening. After they canceled my appointment last minuet two times and let me show up one time without the dentist being there, they explained that there was only one actual time in the middle of the day that the dentist performed this which would leave me with a day of no work and no pay. Needless to say I was never given that session nor was I refunded any money. This is a fraud and I cannot even believe this Dentist has a license. What a shameful and disgusting way to make money off people! STAY AWAY!

The One Star is Only for the Staff Here, Now lets Begin... Arrived at 2:30 with only one person in the waiting room upon arrival, went back at 4:30. This Dentist engaged my wife for 20Mins about her former employer & worksite as a C.O. asking US for X-Rays from the surgeon that pulled my teeth,we were told conflicting stories by this lady about billing, our provider told us she was one of their dentist, we only came because my regular dentist was on vacation and would have to wait a extra 3 weeks to get denture measurements. I came to her for denture measurements, she went on contradicting herself about how long one should wait for denture after getting all your teeth removed, said 6-8 weeks, but 5mins ago she said they should have made me partials.She used a cellphone to take a picture of my gums!!! This woman called my wife (literally) a know it all, needless to say after this 30mins I didnt allow this woman to work on my grill- and while sitting in the chair, got to look at the expressions on the faces of the assistants as my wife gave it right back to her, and seeing their eyes light up when she was put in her place, as all they could really do is stand there (and LAUGH TO THEMSELVES) because they work for this woman who looks like Dr. Detroit too.(if you are too young, Google it), but even with their dental masks on, their EYES told the story.UNPROFESSIONAL is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!The parking lot is about the size of 3 handicapped spaces with about 8 slots, great if you drive a Ford Focus or Kia Soul, I drive a SUV, very tight to maneuver in the rear. Her tone with us was like she was talking to a dog, wasted an hour both ways, gas & toll from Upstate NY, not to mention left work 3 hours early to meet my wife to drive to this quack! I can not instruct you on her ability as SO MANY OTHERS HERE have ALREADY, but I can Honestly tell you how BAD her CUSTOMER SERVICE was, and I give everyone the benefit of the doubt..... NOT HERE, this office needs sensitivity training... or should I say, this dentist needs it.AP Middletown NY

So far my experience at the dentist was good.She obviously knows what shes doing and came in while I was getting g my x-rays which I think was very nice and introduced herself to me.She knows my fears of dentists and went out of her way to make sure I was pain free.
