Our insurance company rented us a car. We didn’t get the size we needed.There was a set of keys for another car in ours which I had to drive 20 min to return to them. And when we found a nail in the tire we were told to take it to a tire shop that refused to fix it because hertz hadn’t paid their bill. We were then told by hertz to fix it ourself. We ask for a larger vehicle than we received andWe had the car almost 2 weeks and they never called to say they had a larger vehicle availableWorst rental experience ever.
Called 3 times yesterday with no answer and ended up having to find the place because they haven’t updated their info on google and I’ve had issues with the car and have called 9 times today with no answer of course. Definitely do not recommend
We rented a car in Columbia, MO to drive down to MS to pick my car up. The transaction was very quick and easy. We were able to pick out the car we wanted to rent online then pick it up at the store in Columbia. The sales associate was super nice and friendly. We would rent from Hertz in Columbia again.
Hertz has become our go to rental place!! They are pleasant, very helpful and always go above and beyond what is expected of them!! I highly recommend them!!
I had to get a rental while my car was being worked on. Originally, I set up my rental with Hertz and arranged for them to pick me up from the body shop. At first, I thought they might just be running late because it was around when everything opened. However, they never sent anyone. I tried to call there office for about an hour and a half (the body shop called as well) and we could never get anyone on the phone. We tried to leave a voicemail but their mailbox was full. I ended up just getting my insurance to switch to Enterprise. They were there in about 15 minutes to pick me up.
Rented twice online in the past. Both times I was informed that my vehicle was not available at the very last minute or when I arrived at the store. Vehicles were not clean; Crumbs were found throughout the floor of the vehicle(s), candy wrappers and an empty Yoo-hoo bottle. Was not properly informed about the return method. Associate was professional and polite but confirmed that I could return the vehicle after hours with the keys locked inside. Manager called saying they were going to charge me, because they did not have a spare. Not only was I told by an employee that it was okay, but what kind of rental car company doesnt have a spare key to their vehicle? Is that not logical in case of emergencies?

Returned the vehicle I rented three hours early and now Im receiving calls a day later claiming I failed to return it. However the situation resolves itself I will never use Hertz again.
Customers service sucks everytime I call its take me to automatic service and its currently 10a.m. What kind of business is this.Ive called several times and someone answered said they was connecting me with a customer service rep and Ive been holding for 14:42mins exactly.I havea rental and trying to get some info and cant get no one in the phone.
As others have said below the customer service here is awful. Rented a car on the app and when I arrived was told no cars are here. No solutions were provided and the employee barely looked up from her chair. Ive rented with Hertz 28 times this year and this is by far the sorriest excuse for a business Ive seen.
Unreliable. How is a car missing after you turn it in? They found keys in lock box but car was missing. They realized this three weeks after turning the car in to the company.

They are a rip off go to Enterprise located right beside them I was charged for things they made up after I returned the vehicle which I took care of wouldnt recommend them at all I gave them one strar but if I could I wouldnt have even gave them that very underhanded things they pulled on me I did choose them insurance company did go to Enterprise located right beside them I will be posting on social media how sorry Hertz of Hattiesburg is and tell everyone I know about them

I had rented a car then my insurance because my car was stolen wreaked but recovered and my insurance covered most of my rental and I had to rent that for a month why my car was in the shop I dropped it off at the location after hours called before I did that they say I stole the vehicle I have people that can testify on me dropping it off was charged 1900 dollars because they said I had the vehicle when I had dropped it off it’s Christmas they took Christmas money and bill money now I can’t get gift until next paycheck in January this not the first time they have done this someone else said they done the same thing to them
