Absolutely awesome! I broke down outside of hartford coming from 2 hours away and they were able to get me in and fix it within two hours. A fair price for what I had done and Really nice people too!

I bought new tires at Fleet Farm. Part of the install included an alignment check. When I got the call saying my truck was finished, they notified me that I do need an alignment but that they were unable to get it done during the appointment and that I would have to bring it back a week later.Rick looked at my printout from Fleet Farm and explained to me why certain numbers (Toe angle) were red, and showed me that the overall toe angle was 0.01 degrees (almost perfect) and that there was no reason for him to charge me for an alignment. Very honest of him, when I was under the impression that I absolutely needed an alignment. So instead I asked if they could do an oil change during the time I had scheduled for an alignment.During this time I was fortunate to listen to both Rick and Julie have conversations with a few customers both in person and over the phone. These people must be Empaths as they truly treated every customer with respect and did what they could to save customer’s money where possible.I will definitely be back for all of my car care needs. Tire rotations are included with their oil changes which is more than enough reason for me to come back!

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly counter person. Was in and out in about 25 minutes. Price was great. I wish I would of found it sooner since I’ve recently moved to Hartford. Will definitely become a future customer.

I went there to have 2001 dodge grand caravan oil change done. They said 30 mins. Done in 15 mins. No up charging no hidden fees great work. Same day brought my 2003 dodge ram quad cab for oil change air filter and turn signal bulb. Again great time, great service, and great price highly recommend

Called and got price for 4 wheel alignment. Took vehicle in. They called and said they were having trouble because vehicle was rusted (we live in WIsconsin, what did they expect). Said it would cost more than twice what they had quoted. If a business quotes a price for a job, they should do the job for that. That is how I run my business. This was the 3rd time I took them a vehicle to work on, and every time they called with something else that needed to be fixed. Wont be using them again.

Sippls has the most honest mechanics in hartford. If it doesnt need to be fixed they dont pretend to fix it like other car repair places around here.

Not reliable and or trust worthy and expensive

I started out going to a few other shops in town and this one is by far the best. By the way NEVER go to reliable truck and auto, they made me pay $2,000 on a timing belt change (a $400 job) that they screwed up and tried telling me that it was caused by the last change. Not to mention changing the price like they did without permission is illegal.

This is the best place to take your vehicle, the staff are very friendly, courteous, and honest!

Was charged over $100 for them to just erase my error codes(which Autozone will do for free). They couldnt find the main problem so they charged me and let me go on my way with a band aid fix. 1 hour later my car will not move while in drive. I cannot recommend a place that cannot find the root of a problem and will just let people leave their lot without safely fixing their vehicle.

Every SINGLE time my parents have brought their vehicles here for one thing, they ended up with a giant bill for several other things, which they shrugged off and paid, because they always kept their cars in top working order. But I couldnt help but wonder, if they always kept their cars in top working order, why was so much always wrong, when they brought them here for a fricking OIL CHANGE, or something simple?! It came up on our 15-point inspection - you know what a 15-point inspection is? 15 different chances to upsell you something. They even try to scare you into deciding NOW with its metal on metal - did u want us to do that now?. -Or what? Die? Am I gonna die? What are my options? Do you want to implies you dont HAVE to, but they DO NOT say that, do they?This is a fact. These things have happened to my family, here. However, they also were the only shop with an available stall and mechanic TODAY. Things have their trade-offs, I guess. Your experience may be different, but know your car well and know whats wrong with it BEFORE you take it here, or you could end up with all kinds of repairs found to be needed upon inspection.
