Literally the WORST manicure Ive ever gotten.I went here because my normal salon is under renovations. I asked for the pinterest pic on the left, with square tips. Accent nail on pointer finger. This is the hack job that I got. This was just a refill...and it took over TWO hours. Not because of waiting, I was the only customer there. Now I see why I was the only customer. I honestly had to just say it looks nice because I actually had to go home and move on with my evening plans. I subsequently had to get the accent nail redone within less than 24 hours, because it looks like my four year old niece tried to do the design. The fill was way overpriced for the quality of service. I HIGHLY discourage anyone from coming here. Spend your money on a better salon.

Lisa is so sweet! She shaped my nails beautifully and gave me exactly what I asked for. They have brand new pedicure spas and a whole new selection of gel polish! Lots of good changes!!!

Excellent service!! I went for an eyebrow wax and it was the best Ive ever had. She knew what she was doing and was explaining a proper eye brow wax while she did it. All their nail customers in there sounded happy as well. Its family owned and operated, clean, and welcoming. So glad I found this place!

Great place to get your nails done. Paint is amazing, service is out of this world. And the ladies working there are super fun.

They do beautiful pedicures and they are very warm and friendly. I tell many about what a great place this is. You should definitely try VIP NAILS.

Called last minute and they got me right in. My pink & white fill came out great and the ladies were very friendly!

If I could leave lower then 1 star, I would. Idk what happened to the old lady who owned this place but the new people who are working here should be shut down! They’re awful. I just left because four days ago I got a full set (gel) and a pedi. My nail like chipped in a jagged edge today (idk how or why) but I went back for a nail repair. Before I even walked in, the guy who did my nails was outside right out front smoking (while my child was with me) he walks right up and says what you want done, I told him a nail repair he said who did your nails, and I replied you and it is just about a week. He the. Interrupts me and says we no fix nail for free after a week oh no. But I never even expected or asked for it to be free. Then mean while he came in with an attitude and NEVER washed his hands after SMOKING!! And he was literally screaming at me “SIT STILL” while I fixed my child’s iPad with the other hand. Just pure horrible. I have never been treated so badly by anyone. None the less someone I just gave 70 dollars to last weekend. I will never ever go back here, and with the whole smoking situation and not washing hands, I am going to look into filing a deeper complaint.

The lady sawe left or savee & the new people SUCKKKKK HORRIBLE 3 diff people worked on my nails and i left with my nails ONLY filed cuz i requested they change my shape & the lady stood up & said IM DONE i got an appt at 4 and it was 3pm smh A MESS

One New Years Eve, just 5 days ago, My regular nail tech at my regular shop was closed for the holiday. In a rush, I googled and asked for recommendations for a last min nail salon, I was sent here to VIP on Derry st. I called and got right in for an appointment at 11am. At first everything seemed ok, but the nail tech that was working on me couldnt seem to see that my nails were uneven, I tried to tell her but she continuously stated all was well. After she completed the file, I noticed that she did not buff the nails but she said, “Now Polish” so I assumed all was well. As it came time to polish another lady came in and began, I asked for a chrome look so they charged me additional for the magnetic powder. As my nails were getting painted, I tried not to look and make them nervous as I was a new client that typically isnt picky. Once I left the salon, I saw that I still had polish on my cuticles and now the direct sunlight had hit, I could see EVERY imperfection and lumpy and uneveness in the acrylic. The next day after two showers I realized the polish hadnt come off and so i tried to pick it off, I then noticed that it was not only polish, but ACRYLIC ATTACHED TO MY CUTICLE, so picking it caused my nails to lift and two nails ended up peeling off COMPLETELY! By the 3rd day 2 more fingers had began to peel and while showering I noticed my tip that they JUST FIXED AND ADDED A BRAND NEW NAIL had snapped in half and what was reveled was the super thin almost non existent acrylic and the TIP was glued to my SKIN causing it to tear completely! I usually NEVER complain, but this is UNACCEPTABLE a 45$ fill PLUS tip disaster! Im not sure if they all work like this but the lady that did my nails was a plus size older woman. I havent tried to contact them as I honestly dont even know where to begin seeing as tho, Ive been out of town on Vacation with a BROKEN NAIL.

Friendly staff and gets the job done properly. Resemble prices also.
