This is the second time Ive had my nails done here and I absolutely love the way they have done them. I highly recommend this place.

This was day 2. Do better.

Lied to me about price. Got gel nails and she was so rushed to get me out that she didn’t allow the to sit long enough and they ended up being sticky. They honestly would look better if I did them myself. Also drew blood, and paint is all over my fingers. Won’t be coming back.

Totally disappointed. Went there yesterday to get my nails done. Not only did they peer pressure me into getting acrylics, everything was just low quality and unprofessional. The lady who started off doing my nails was rough and was putting on the glued nails very lazily. Next, the guy who finished didnt prep my nails, he wasn’t very kind, and also was rough with my hands. In addition, I wanted coffin nails and he did the exact opposite but still charged me the coffin nail price. Overall, he did a mediocre job. For all this, you need to LOWER YOUR PRICES. It was very disappointing. I will not be returning.

Always a good experience

I’ve been going here for a long time and I always leave with my nails looking amazing and I’m always satisfied there. The people are really nice and get the job done neatly and faster than any other salon I’ve been to. Sometimes they do burn my nail a little but it happens 🤷‍♀️. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Ive been going to this salon since Kim was in Shippensburg, PA. (Over 18 years)I moved up to Harrisburg and she opened up her shop here around 2009. The employees are very sweet and do beautiful pedicures. Kim always done my nail & they look beautiful. She teases me because I always want them short. (Im a nurse) But she does them exactly the way I want!

I go here mostly for pedicures but once and awhile I will get my finger nails done and every time they look horrible. Girl didn’t know how to shape a flat with rounded tips style and just kept filing till I had nothing left. Painting looked like a 5th grader didn’t it. No one seems to understand English and they only speak a few words so you struggle conveying instructions. They do an decent pedicure but not for manicures. But as always watch the painting. They can get sloppy nearing the end zone especially if others are waiting.

The shop has plexiglass dividers between Technician and customer and between customers. They take your temp and fill out form and also provide info on electronic tablet. They spray chairs and station berween customers and you have to wash your hands. I think they have done an excellent job in meeting Covid guidelines

Lady was extremely rude to me when I asked about prices for a refill, and kept arguing with me when I told her I wanted a gel refill. Ended up getting something different than I wanted because I was tired of arguing with her. Polish job was done very sloppy and it looks terrible. All over my fingers and it doesn’t look clean on my nail at all. Do not come here, it is way over priced to begin with and they don’t even do a good job

Extremely disappointed! I have been a customer here for a few years. I have left disappointed after my last 3 pedicures! It seems that they allow any random body (I guess they are employees) service their customers. Not everyone there is qualified!My May 2019 experience: great leg/foot massage and she seemed to do everything in order however, the paint job was horrible! The polish was clumpy and she left it on my toes clumpy. I had to actually ask her to fix it. She just added another layer!! I had to demand that someone else paint my toes! And I had the nerve to go back again!My experience this evening, June 28, 2019, was THE WORST pedicure I ever had! He did not have an order, he just randomly did pedicure-like things. He lotioned then massaged my right leg for 2.5 minutes! Then he preceded to rinse both legs and apply the hot towel. I reminded him that he had not massaged the left leg at all!! He did it reluctantly for 30 seconds. He did not exfoliate my feet at all! There was loose skin all over the tips of my toes and he was starting to paint without removing it! I had to ask that he remove the loose pieces of skin! I just wanted to sit in the chair, get my feet massaged, that’s it!! So disappointed! NEVER AGAIN!

This place isnt as good as it used to be. It sucks actually.

Impersonal and a tense environment. Employees were openly rude to a trainee, criticizing every move she made in front of customers. The woman who was doing my pedi treated her like a slave or an unruly child, ordering her around and loudly correcting every move she made, rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Not exactly the most relaxing experience.

She overcharged my card $10 behind my back when I already purchased the deluxe for $50, and gave a cash tip. Never doing business here again. Untrustworthy!

Very rude customer service. Asked for a polish change and she had me put my feet on a table when you would do finger nails. Only put one coat on of a very light color, and then wouldn’t put clear on top. Asked for a second coat of paint and was told no.

Never AGAIN! Worse place. Staff didnt listen to me at all even after repeatedly telling them. Told the guy doing my pedicure to cut my nails. Didnt happen. Lady doing my manicure messed up and left my nails rough and I still left with a sore hangnail. Horrible

I just broke my nail and they redid it suuper quick! it looks a little off from da others tho bc i got it thicker but atleast they know now just a little thicker 😂

Terrible service. I was given a service I did not ask for and then over charged for it. I asked for a regular fill and was given a gel fill. I was Completely unfamiliar with what the girl was even doing because I have never had this done. She explained nothing and then charged me extra for the fill AND to paint my nails with Gel. The tech said not one word to me the entire time. I came in with acrylic, why would you not explain that it’s a more expensive service? I went back in to ask why I was charged so much and I was told at first “that’s what you asked for” and when I explained further was then told “well you have to get a gel fill if you want gel nails, you can’t do acrylic” which is a complete lie. I was charged $45 for something that normally costs me $25-30. I will not be back.

Lady kept filling my skin.. Nails are done pretty well except she didnt cover my whole nail with the clear coat. And I dont like my eyebrows and I asked her to fix them and she didnt even understand me . Probably wont be returning.

Just went in today and had TAMMY. She did THE worst job i’ve ever had done on my nails. Made me bleed within the first 5 minutes with a drill, then proceeded to not glue the nails on enough so they feel like they are going to fall off, and then made them too short and the simple french manicure i wanted has bubbles in the polish and she forgot to put a second coat on my one thumb. a visible difference. left in a fury to have them fixed by another place. horrible set of nails.

They DESTROYED my nails. I had nail polish in my cuticles and she CUT MY FINGER. Never going there again.

Not sure about other reviews, I think they have great customer service. Ive been a regular customer at several nail shops over the years. It always ends the same. Id make appointments, tip good, and eventually, the salon starts taking you for granted. Not honoring appointments, leaving you sit, etc. Magic Nails never does that. They have a lot of staff. Dont get me wrong, Ive gotten half-assed manicures. (Plain manicures on natural nails $12-$14, arent a big money maker, and its been my experience everywhere, that many technicians do sloppy, rush jobs. I try combating that by tipping appropriately, if not excessively. It doesnt always work.) But you get what you pay for. Its a mall location. But they are open 7 days a week. There is seldom a wait and they have some technicians that have pride in their work and provide great service.

Had absolutely NO clue as to what they were doing. I have natural nails & said not much filing please. They mis-shaped nails & roughly filed off half of nail length.

The Service here sucked and the prices. I was there many months ago and they ripped me off on money. They told me one thing and i paid an extra 10 dollars. I can go for a French pedicure and pay about 35 they charged me 50 dollars. Never again will i go there. I advice other people also.

It is TERRIBLE they drilled to long then put clear nail primer on and it burned please do not waste your money its to much money anyway but really clean thats why i gave them one star

She didnt do the shape I wanted. I had asked for round acrylics & she gave me an almond shape w/ an almost stilleto top. Some of my nails are crooked & some of the polish on some of the nails have chipped already after 2 days. The girl who did my friend was very rough, the drill she used to buff done the nail beds somehow cut the fronts of friends fingers, & she started bleeding really bad.

Very small space, over priced not worth the money. Not nice or very clean wouldnt go back or recommend anyone to go there.

From what I understand theres no management there this is substitute the more seems like the quality of service is going down the maintenance people who clean up Im not doing a good job cleaning up the place this is the second day in a row that I go to the mall to do my daily walk and when I need to go to the bathroom bathrooms are filthy takes about 2 hours to get them clean
