Enterprise car rental on Cameron Street is the best car rental place in Harrisburg! These guys there are the best in the city! Anytime I have a problem with anything they are there to help! I have been renting from them for a while now and they are always there when I need them! They are kind they are courteous, each one of them takes the time to explain the contract, anything you need explain to you they will take the time to go into detail and let you know what is going on! They don’t mind taking the time to help with anything! And let’s not forget Russell, their “Big Guy “ ! He is awesome! He is really the real reason I started renting from enterprise car rental on Cameron Street! I had a problem at another enterprise and because Russell talk to me and calmed me down and told me to come down to Cameron Street he would make things right and he did I have never left Cameron Street since then! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. I had a CONFIRMED reservation. The rental agent called me 2 hours before my pickup time to tell me she didnt have the size I wanted, said she had something else, I told her that was fine since I didnt need a specific size suv.On my arrival she tried to get me to PAY MUCH MORE FOR A BIGGER SUV. She told me some BOLONEY story, that because I reserved less than 24 hrs I had to PAID MUCH MORE for a larger suv I didnt RESERVE. I HAD THE EMAIL THAT SAID MY RESERVATION WAS CONFIRMED.USE THIS LOCATION AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! STAY AWAY!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION THEY WONT HONOR YOUR CONFIRMED RESERVATION AND THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOU TO PAY MORE FOR SOMETHING LARGER!!!!NB: I try to be objective and stick to the facts. I have had good service from the 3 gentlemen I have dealt with in the past. Surprisingly, my first experience with the lady agent was good on a previous rental. So I was surprised at her actions for this rental. Based on my experience I recommend the Paxton St and Mechanicsburg locations. Other locations I recommend are Moon Twp ( Pittsburgh), PA, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Allentown ( car/truck), PA. Now I have used the other locations over many years. Enterprise front desk staff are eternally young, so the staff moves on to better things so you will never see the same staff if you go there for many years. Also, based on my years of experience of renting, there is nothing worst than meeting an agent who doesnt like you for example Mountain Rd, Harrisburg PA and University City, Philadelphia, PA, in these 2 cases as always its one bad egg and never the entire staff. The Mountain Rd and Philly was years ago, Im sure the bad eggs are no longer there.

Car selection was poor, I reserved a full size wich they did not hold. Definitely should have stuck with budget better prices better vehicles

Extremely rude staff. Seems like they hate their jobs and theyre all miserable, arrogant, and rude. The only pleasure I had using this location was knowing the snot nose little punks are so displeased with their own lives!! All other experiences with enterprise have been amazing and Ive always been pleased with all other transactions at other enterprise locations. I would recommend using the 2 other enterprise locations within a mile!!

Had a vehicle reservation and when I arrived at the Harrisburg airport location they gave me a different vehicle. This always happens to me at this location. Are they PREDJUDICE???

Im disappointed on how they handled my reservation. I reserved a car on 01/16/2021 and the pickup time was at 10:00 am, just before as I was going to pickup the car I got a call from one of the representative from this location, he said Sorry for the inconvenience, but we dont have a car available for you at this moment. That not even the worst part, it is when he suggested I make calls to other Enterprise location in my area and explain what happened and hope they got a extra car laying around for which Ill have to pay extra as there rates dont match.The fact that they could careless about the customers need and the lack of service really makes me angry. This was my first time renting at Enterprise and would be the last. Had better experience from other rental companies. If possible, I wouldve given a negative rating.

I wish I could say something nice about my experience but I cannot. I reserved a car for 9:30 am on a Saturday. I was told that my car was given away and the only thing they had was a pickup truck. I didn’t argue as I was late for my Aunts funeral, but I am 5,6 in a dress and heels in a pickup truck, the worst. Called in my complaint still waiting on a response from corporate

I would have given them five stars until they tried to rip me off. I usually paid from Wednesday to Wednesday until I had to make two single payments then made a weekly payment on Friday and theyre telling me that my contracts only good until Wednesday and then they tell me that the contract week is only for 5 days I got two different stories in 10 minutes. So basically theyre ripping me off for 2 days. And the manager is not nice at all. Talking about the customer is always right and I have proof. Scumbags

First of all, I do not do reviews; this is actually my first time. Let me start by saying the customer service was great. Pick up time was at 4:30, I was greeted promptly & car was out front. Decided to upgrade my rental. Car itself was nice. 2019 Altima, fully loaded. However, it was filthy! Not sure why it was offered, when it clearly was not cleaned from last renter. Crumbs everywhere, childrens hand prints all over both back windows. Sticky residue on back seats. It was so bad, I went straight to car wash & disinfected the inside when I got home. Considering Covid-19, every car should be sanitized after each use, before releasing to another customer. I work with the public, it is my job & responsibility to ensure the safety of all customers. Enterprise, you need to do better!!

I had a very good experience at the Enterprise on Cameron street in Harrisburg. A young lady by the name of Jasmine had assisted my wife and I and she was incredibly Awesome! Very friendly, respectful and courteous and made our experience very smooth and quick. Id absolutely recommend this site to anyone that needs a rental.

Great cars and great prices. Our 1st vehicle was a Ford fusion hybrid loved it and our second vehicle just recently was a 2019 Nissan Altima all-wheel drive. However, in the snow, going up our driveway was a no-go

I was given an upgraded vehicle that was on site at no extra charge. It was a quick, pain-free process and I will be returning again!

I rented autos from Enterprise in June 2015 and February 2016 for short trips out of the area. In each case the service was exemplary, the pick up before and return home after quick, and the cars were clean and operated well. I would certainly turn to Enterprise for another rental.My latest rental, in late October 2016, was just as good an experience, from pickup to return home, as the previous two. The car was clean and worked well; the Enterprise personnel were helpful and quick to process my rental and return; and, as before, I would certainly turn to Enterprise for my next rental.

My experience with Renting vehicles from Enterprise Rental, have lead me and my wife to go back three more times. The prices are reasonable and affordable especially with my small budget. Plus, the people there are friendly and understanding... I would recommend Enterprise Rental to anyone, not like other rental places..

Very quick to pick up.Truck was sprayed with water and not cleaned or dried off. Interior cleanWanted to return truck after 12n on Saturday. (they close then). They charged fullrate for another day, even though they are closed.Seriously greedy. They couldn’t have rented it.Kicker. Gave me 1/4 tank of gas. Told me to return with a 1/4 tank. I wanted a car for the day to sightsee around the area. I was picked up at my hotel and brought to the enterprise on Cameron Street. All of the employees were polite and professional. I received a car and was on my way in no time.When I returned the car, I received a quick check out and was again driven to my hotel. It gave me the opportunity to see the area. The car was clean, not scratched and ran well.Thanks for the great service.

They gave me a car in which someone smoked. She didn’t inform me about this till I signed the agreement. I was in a hurry so I had to take that car. Very poor maintenance. I am not going to rent a car here again. Rental cars at the airport are better and well maintained.

They need to start renaming this company car insurance rentals, I went in to get a quote to see if there was any cars available today and on top of the $300 deposit that takes us to get our money back 3 to 5 business days they pretty much told me that their first priority is cars that are being rented out to insurance people. Turn other words regular day folks like ourselves and we going to rent a car we are at the mercy on people before us there have insurance claims. Thats pathetic

I have in the past two to three years rented from enterprise. The end of November I went to Cameron because the manager there was assistant at the Mountain Road Location. First time at the Cameron Location...but service for me as always was excellent. I had one problem and it definitely was not with the staff, it was the difficult with entering ( mainly)and exiting because of the Traffic on Cameron.My. Everything went fairly quick. Return was to a closed shop, but the final bill was as I expected, no charge for gas or damages. But they sure put the squeeze on you these days to buy insurance, showing you this card they have showing that if any damage is bigger than a sample on the card, they will go after my insurance company and I will be out the deductible (which, I was asked how much it was). When I didnt take it, they indicated I was throwing the dice. I think Im done with Enterprise now.

Horrible and unacceptable service. I made a reservation with Enterprise at the Lemoyne location but was notified before pickup that the vehicle I reserved was not available. The Lemoyne rep AJ advised me to contact another location instead. I then spent 2 hours on the phone contacting locations on the vehicle I was interested in. I finally made an online reservation and as I was making my reservation I spoke with Johnathon who reassured me the car I was reserving was available. I showed up up at the Harrisburg location early and after waiting 30 minutes I was advised the vehicle I reserved was not available. There was no appogies, no sorry for the inconvenience. I was just told I have to pay over 100.00 because I made the reservation too late. Im highly upset with the piss poor service and representative at this location. I did not get her name but I sure will not be recommending this location nor Enterpirse alone.

This is the 6th time in the last 2 years me & my mother rented from here never no issues. This go round we were very upset at the service we got. Jasmine needs to be way more polite to her customers. We reserved a car at 11 we were running behind about a hr. Got there we had a little issue with the card we swiped asked her could she hold our rental till we came bck from the bank which we wouldnt have had to go in the first place if she would have held on b4 swiping our card to make sure funds where there when we asked her because apparently after the first decline they cant swipe the card again for 24hrs. So we came bck and as we are standing there she gave our rental away right in front of us. In that instant i was very upset. We left went to the one on paxton street they were very polite and understand. Great job paxton street thank you. Only thing is that with sort notice we got a horrible car. But with reassurance that if we didnt like it we could bring it bck for a trade in. We rented this car for 2 wks. Sorry paxton street we cant deal with car we will see u on monday. This has been a very bad experience.

I am a enterpise plus member. I booked at 1.15 to get my rental at 2.30.so when I drive up their the staff informed me that my reservation was never booked.so if you so happen to have an emergency save yourself some time and go to the enterprise by the airport.

The downtown location is a disaster. The employees are argumentative, hostile, dishonest, surly, rude and unhelpful. They will lie to your face and collude to cover each others backs. Go to the airport location. They are professional and cheaper than downtown, a rarity in my experience
