Its a small park with a nice facility, with plenty amenities for the community. They have a small stage on the East side by the sledding hill where they play live music free of charge for anyone, all you need is a blanket or a lawn chair. They also have food trucks on site, by the stage for your convenience. You can go on their website for a complete entertainment line up. I just wish they would do something about the stagnant water and weeds right in front of the stage.

I called to rent a court on a rainy day. I have been just learning tennis and bought a very close family friend a racket for his 7th birthday. When we arrived, we couldn’t rent the court because it “appeared as if I was a tennis pro giving lessons” and that wasn’t allowed. I explained that I am FAR from a tennis trainer, I barely know how to play myself. The boys mother came in and explained this is a birthday gift and not a lesson, it was bad weather and he was excited to use his new racket. They said “my gear makes it look like it’s a lesson” because apparently having nice things makes you a tennis pro. I understand the rule but there needs to be checks and balances - so basically now I can never rent a court to play with my family friend (and his little brother) in the future. This situation was just horrible - but I do understand “rules” so I don’t fully blame the staff but what a horrible experience. They had no interest in listening to my story or understanding the situation, “rules were rules”. Just a horrible experience.

Been playing tennis here for several months now and for the winter indoor season, the court fees are quite reasonable given the rates in neighboring areas. Good court quality and temperatures. FYI - Court reservations need to be pre paid and there are no cancellations (only rescheduling).

Very nice park with good programs at an affordable price. Small pond, baseball fields, basketball courts and a very nice recreational center. Used to have an outdoor swimming pool, but converted it into a safety area (tiny houses with streets) that is never used. They need to bring back the pool.

Front people are nice. The courts are not. Its loud when you play, its cold on one side in the heart of winter. The courts are dark and on some courts the ball bounces weird.

Staff are rude. The place is dirty. I live one block away and they wouldn’t let me vote there. Don’t waste your time going to this filthy place. Also their nasty deflated tent outside is an eye sore.
