I’ve trained at a few gyms in my short time in BJJ. When I moved from Grand Rapids I thought for sure I’d never find a gym I loved as much as my original... but I was wrong. After the first session I knew I wanted to train here and after a week it felt like home. The instruction is top notch and the environment is incredibly welcoming. No matter your reasons for training jiu jitsu, this is the place to do it.

I have wanted to do martial arts for years, but have always been too scared or intimidated to step into a dojo. On a whim, I found 3D Martial Arts online and inquired about the free trial they offer. I was still nervous, but forced myself to show up no matter what.I ended up having the most fun I have had in a long time and got in an incredible workout from all of the drills. Everyone there was incredibly welcoming and Dennis, the owner, made me feel right at home. Dennis explains every technique very well, is encouraging, and made sure I was able to participate at my own pace even as a beginner.Once class was over, it took no convincing to get me to sign up. I am planning to be here as long as I live in the area and look forward to learning more. This is a wonderful place and provides a great environment to learn in. If you are like me and the idea of learning a skill like this is intimidating, then this is the place for you. You will feel at ease once you arrive, and like me, you will be wishing you would have done this sooner.

Being a newcomer, I was really nervous about starting, but Dennis made it so easy to feel welcomed and confident in myself while learning Jiu Jitsu. The class is wonderful, other people who are in the class are great and the Dojo is very clean. Really happy with my choice in starting here, you wont feel rushed or uncomfortable with anything you do!

Great BJJ academy for kids and adults. The instructor is a black belt and incredibly talented and knowledgeable about the sport. Fun environment and very welcoming to all. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get a good work out, learn self defense, build self confidence or relieve stress.

It’s rare for me to be so extremely happy with something. Denis literally changed my life for good. My son and I enjoy every lesson and can’t wait to go in the dojo. If you’re considering BJJ this is the best place in the world.

Ive only been training at 3D MMA for a few months and it has been nothing short of an exceptional experience. The facility is clean and well taken care of. All of the members are friendly and welcoming and very eager to learn and teach. Dennis Dombrow has so much expertise and knowledge to share! His instruction is detailed and conceptual making it very easy to learn and absorb the teachings. He even works with kids!
