We bought our Samsung washer in 2018. Right before we hit the 1 year mark it started giving error codes. Sears came out and said it was the filter getting clogged with pebbles,so they showed us how to check it and clean it and the problem was fixed. Right before we hit the 2 year mark, it started with the error codes again. We called Sears back out. They said it was the control board, they ordered the part, which was around $200, plus another $300 for labor. My husband put it in It was still giving error codes. Sears came out again and said it was a sensor. They ordered that part and returned the control board. We set up another appointment to replace the sensor. Sears came out to fix it, it wasnt the sensor. Then they said it was the water valves, they ordered the part and showed up without notice and we hadnt received the part in the mail yet. After the repairman left, our mail came with the part. We immediately called Sears and it was another few days before we could get it fixed. My problem is this, why dont they check the function of the part they say needs replaced before ordering a new one? I had to go 3 weeks without a washer, we are a family of 5. This is a huge inconvenience for any family. Its like the repairmen are just playing a guessing game. I will say all of the men who came out were very professional, courteous, and timely.
$417 bill.$109 estimate$151 labor$157 partThe guy came out on September 11th pushed a button on my machine said it needed a pump he ordered it. And said he would be back on September 22. Said we needed to pay in full. The part came in on the 17th we put in in our self because we couldnt wait any longer. I canceled the labor. They do not want to refund me the 151. So I paid 260 for a guy to come out and push a button. Do it your self just google it trust me it will be simple and cheaper. Dont call them just let them run out of business like they are already good luck.
Technician was professional and courteous and kept me informed of how the repair was going.
I feel like someone reached in my pocket and stole money from me. After the technician left I priced the part he replaced online. I found out I was charged $372.00 to replace a $17.00 part. Not only was the part inexpensive, it was easy to get to. The entire job took less than 30 minutes and 10 of those minutes the tech. spent on private calls on his phone.
Guess our Dryer has Electrical Problems; however it runs in well times manner, but we werent satisfied with the way our clothing remained WRINKLED. So the Repairman was Good, however our problem remains unresolved.
We bought our kenmore fridge In 2016 (And bought the top tier warranty for it so we could avoid all the hassle). The fridge was fine until Covid-19 hit (what are the odds!) so we were fridge-less for a month because nobody could come out and fix it. Then it became too much of a hassle for us, a family of 4, to be living out of a mini fridge that’s in our backyard so I decided to give Sear’s a call again to see what they could do. The first rep told me they could reimburse me at a later date for a R.A.C. fridge, or claim a $150 credit towards a new fridge. $150?!? That’s 5% of what my refrigerator cost!!! I paid $700 for a warranty that is giving me back $150 towards a new fridge. To me that is absolutely unbelievable, and not caring for their customers.I refused both offers and said I would wait until a tech could come out and check out the fridge to fix the issue.5 maintenance techs and 3 months later, I STILL DON’T HAVE MY FRIDGE FIXED NOR A NEW FRIDGE! How is this part of the Sear’s warranty? How is this good customer service? Not to mention, the last tech said that he would put in his notes that “the fridge has replacement parts and is still unresponsive/need to send customer a replacement fridge” AND HE LIED. Because after being on hold for 2 hours, the customer service rep said there were no such notes and that yet ANOTHER maintenance tech would have to come out and check it out AGAIN.I hate writing bad reviews about businesses, but the experience I have had with Sear’s is beyond horrendous, and we are extremely upset with how our case has been handled.
An hour after the technician left, the dryer was not heating which was one of the problems. I tried to contact him but you know that I can only contact him through your system. what did I get? an appointment for a week later! you think that is good service?I dont and no other customer would either.Bill Lee
Our service repair person was courteous, prompt, and forthcoming about explaining the repair to us and how to keep it from happening again. My husband and I appreciated the convenience of being able to make an online appointment. The refrigerator repair was completed the next morning. We will definitely continue to use this service.
Al was punctual, knowledgeable, HONEST and tidy. Got our fridge fixed and back to normal with the least amount disruption possible. Second time using Sears repair service (We bought the service plan) and we couldnt be more satisfied.
The service provider was a sub-contractor and they were very unprofessional. I received a call the evening prior that they would be out the next day. I told them that time/date didnt work. They showed up anyway. My husband just happened to be home so allowed them in. The repairman actually crawled over the top of the washing machine, bending metal and stated thats just how it has to be instead of pulling it away from the wall (there was plenty of room, its in the garage). Totally unprofessional in repair and manner. Would not recommend.
Christian is an excellent repairman. He is very knowledgeable about the appliances & a great repairman. He is courteous & very neat. I would welcome him back any time.
Sears service man was very skillful & did a great job fixing our refrigerator. He had the parts needed & we could see he knew what he was doing.Thank U!
Well done! Freezer is working well. Service tech. Friendly and did a good job of explaining the problem to me. He was fast and efficient.
My repairman, Juan, was efficient and on time. He fixed my fridges broken water/ice dispenser. He earned 5 stars! The scheduling person lied to me and said I would be called within 48 hours to know my appointment time. No one ever called. Later my email had an appointment listed for 2 weeks later and at a time slot that doesnt work for a first grade teacher. I emailed in my comments to them about this and asked to be contacted on my phone. Again, no one ever called. Once you have put out the bucks to get the extra warranty, it seems Sears doesnt care how you are treated. Your customer service and scheduling people get ZERO stars.
The service man was very helpful. The problem was with our 5 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator that has water and ice coming out of the door. One day, the ice just kept coming and really made a mess.A few days later, the water did the same and even opening the door didnt stop it! This seems to be a problem with this model!
Good and thorough service. Tech was friendly and knowledgeable.
The repairman arrived within the scheduled time frame. He was very friendly and had the refrigerator fixed in just a few minutes. Definitely a very good experience for me.
Technician called and was on time. We let the technician know that the unit had started working, but wanted him to take a look at it anyway. Technician explained the problem.
Took the time he needed. Very professional and polite.
Sears closed in my city
Very good service. Serviceman knew what to do and had the parts to fix the washing machine.
The techs where nice guys who work hard, but after they fixed the problem it started to do the same thing 3. Days later. Now we are with out a washer, it well be at least a month before they actually repair it again, they ended up canceling and so we had to wait tell the 27 of january 2017 for the tech to come to are home. Now we have been dealing with this issue of are washer getting fixed since early november 2016. Finally it is febuary 15 2017, and I finally recieved the part needed and had to put it on myself. Very dissapointed with the service and with the people you call to complain to. They did not even want to help, they kept making excuses.
First service person just went up and looked at HVAC unit and said it looked OK, didnt clean or service anything. After three more calls the service reps got the address right and the second technician did a descent job. Whole thing was a hassle as compared to the time before.
Not good enough the pully belt came off twice right after technician left.I used the lawn mower and the belt came off until my husband fixed it. Then I was quoted $200 minus 25% and I was charged $212 and when I called to see why, I was told to call next day because it wasnt in the system yet
Personable technician who checked out refrigerator, oven, and washer
Very helpful and honest service man.
Had to reschedule due to the technician running late. The day of repair, they didnt have the part for the repair. I had them mail it to me, and I installed it myself.
The repairman arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly.
