Purchased a pair of earrings from here today because I lost one. Over the phone I was told by Sal they would cost $50 more because the price of gold went up but I went online and was able to purchase the earrings at the same location, and pick them up for the same price. The customer service is good here, but I dont know why I was quoted two different prices, seems a little off to me.

Just barely left from picking up my ring from repairs and could not wait to leave a review! My ring looks the best it has ever looked!! I honestly got a little emotional when I stopped and really took a look at it on my finger. I was beyond surprised with how much a polish of the gold and repairs around my center stone could be! The employee at Goodman and Sons was named Kitty. She was so patient, caring and knowledgeable about all of the jewelry. Abundant knowledge of cut, style, carat and quality. There is a older female with wavy hair that ruined my visit. She was so busy paying attention to another associates customer (A newly engaged couple). That she couldnt even attend to my needs & questions. She was rude and rushed when I had questions. I have always had pleasant experiences but this one visit ruined my opinion of Goodman & Sons. They lost a sale & a customer. I left the store feeling rejected & disgusted. I wish I knew her name because she needs customer service training.

I visited this location the other day to have my chain repaired. I was helped by a few people actually. Everyone was eager to offer assistance and shared helpful information. I had a wonderful experience at Goodman & Sons. I brought my wedding ring set in to have to prongs checked and rhodium dipped, and the jeweler checked the prongs on the spot, and the dip was complete is just a few days. I didn’t get my rings there, but they were happy to service them, and made me feel really comfortable about leaving my jewelry there. Will definitely be back!

I was out shopping and hit my diamond on a metal lock and knocked my diamond out and I had to find it luckily I did. I called where I bought my ring from and he had retired. While waiting in line we were told someone would be with us. Another gentleman came in behind us and the salesperson proceeded to help him while we conti used to to stand at the door for another 10 or 15 minutes. Since the establishment has been around so long, maybe it still has some of the same antiquated ideas about how to treat certain people? Was not a great experience.

I have brought watches that needed batteries or minor repairs to Goodman & Sons for a little over a year now. Their customer service is exceptional. They give you a one year warranty on their work and around Christmas time last year I brought in a watch that they had repaired thinking it was within one year. It was actually 13 months out but they still repaired my watch at no cost. They did not have to do that and I really appreciated it. They are the best!

My husband and I went in yesterday on a whim to have two of his watches serviced and a third one looked at. They were helpful, quick and knowledgeable about what they were looking at and extremely professional. They have a beautiful variety of jewelry too, which is never a bad thing. Wonderful place, very professional & kind staff with a huge selection of beautiful jewelry. Absolutely awful. Jonathan Goodman helped clean our rings and a diamond fell out of one when he was working with it. We were then told we would have to pay to have it remounted despite the fact that the store caused the issue. He had a terrible attitude and terrible customer service. We will never go to this store again.

I usually love going to Goodmans to get my rings cleaned and they always do an amazing job by checking for any loose diamonds and then do an awesome job cleaning but I was disappointed when I went in and the lady that Ive never seen before took my rings and just put them in the cleaner. She didnt check my diamonds before or after. My rings looked like I cleaned them. Didnt have that amazing sparkle like they usually do when I leave. Im hoping the next time I go in theyll do a better job.

The customer service at Goodman Jewelry is beyond comparison. I went in with a bent prong on my diamond engagement ring and left with it straightened, cleaned and glimmering like new! Stuart was prompt to introduce himself, ask permission before taking my ring to the Goldsmith (on the other side of the glass wall) to repair and then thoroughly clean both my engagement and wedding diamond rings! Every time I walk in, and that is often, everyone is so friendly and helpful. The customer service is excellent! They also generously support local volunteer groups, such as PAWS in Poquoson and several civic groups as well. There is so much I could say about the staff individually but it would take all day to read. Definitely my first choice for jewelry!
