Came here today 8/26/21 and paid for the full service wash for $23.99. When my car was ready I noticed my tires were still a bit dirty. They said tire gloss didn’t come with the full service wash. Like how doesn’t it come with it ? I paid more than the average person. Most people get the $13 wash. They finished way too quick. My car was vacuumed out okay but they missed some spots. Not too impressed.They were nice but could’ve done a better job at cleaning my car for the price that I paid. The interior was not wiped down. I had to ask another employee that hadn’t even been cleaning my car originally to do it and it still just didn’t look clean though he tried. I normally go to another auto Bell and they do an excellent job. It’s like he used a damp rag without any car cleaner on it.

Paid for a full service - $36 - went thru the wash and the attendant told me where to park. After waiting 20 minutes, with the car already dry with spots on it, I asked them when they were going to do the rest of the service I paid for. They said it was an hour wait. I asked for a refund...they looked at me like I was the crazy one. What is wrong with these people? You dont tell people it is a wait and then you expect them to just sit and wait??? I want corporate to contact me.

Autbells service is okay. Many of the auto service technicians job is to upscale a lot of their products.However, many of them are clueless as to what they are selling. Nonetheless, its great environment to see a lot of young people working diligently to improve their work ethics.The Autobells rewards program is only beneficial for customers who detail his/ her cars frequently.

Came in Saturday afternoon for a quick clean. The young man working on my car did a really good job. Good in and out organized service.

Phenomenal! The young man who hand dried my FJ worked his arms off to get the crusty mulberries off of my exterior! I felt so bad, but he insisted 🥲 The young man who took my payment was a gem as well! Very sweet and pleasant staff!

They were fast, but failed to vacuum under the floor mats. They did not wipe down door jambs or the back seat. Kinda defeats the point of a full service inside/outside clean when traveling away from home.

They rush through the process. Missing spots didn’t wipe the calipers off just a Terrible job overall. Waste of money

This place is a waste of time. You can clean your own car better than they will. They are all about rushing. The exterior drive thru cleaned the putside fine but the guys who do interior are lazy and just wipe it down. Really told me i needed something special to get a sticky adhesive off my window when all it took was windex and elbow grease. I definitely dont recommend this one GO TO THE ONE ON J CLYDE

Update: left a remark as requested over a week ago. Still have not been contacted.Just left this car wash, and the brushes damaged my rear window wiper. The guy who did my hand dry never said a word to me. I find this very dishonest. Wont be back.

Needed interior vacuumed and only place in town to get it done! Wash was good, cleaning interior was excellent!Right by Home Depot in Hampton.

I was there early this morning, and between the cold temperature and over cast sky it sure doesnt make for pleasant work conditions.Nevertheless these 4 men were so pleasant and friendly. They look you right in the eye and say yes Maam! This is my Go To car wash. Thank-you team for doing your job well.

Will not use again. Last 2 times used this auto wash has been lacking. Employees have not completed requirements payed for. Have to bring things to their attention. Sad....car wash is costly.

Worst service ever:1) they did not vaccum the interior well. I asked the gentleman that serv me to gim the vaccum and I finish vacuuming my car by myself.2) forgot to apply tire gloss in one of my tires. I had to drove back to to autobell to apply the gloss3) they did not wipe down door panel, consol. I had to borrow one of their towel and did that by myself. And after I went home I wipped down everything again.To be honest I will never go back again, I paid almost $40 + tips and my car interior looks very dirty.

Easy in and out. Left with a clean car. They do a good job. Dont worry if it looks busy when you get there. Theyll hussle you right on through.

U love going to this place when I know its time for my vehicle to be done. They do a great job. Very professional of what they do. I did had this one problem with a young lady who finished vacuuming my vehicle out, she just throw the mats in the vehicle any kind of way. . ( OCD) but other than that, I will continue to go there to get my vehicle clean. And on top of that, I love it when they spray the disenfect into the vehicle. .

This has to be one of the best Autobells Ive been to yet! They went above and beyond, were kind, and efficient. Also, no smudges on my windows. Thank you so much for cleaning my SUV before my next road trip.

Great place to bring your car in to wash. Their tire gloss has no splash back, and they are super friendly. Even folded in my side mirrors before the wash, and offered to hand dry my door jambs.

The service would of probably been better if the items needed to do this job was not left outside to freeze up. . My car was very salty from traveling and still salty white after the wash. I paid $32 for nothing.

I can not believe this place. They do not even whip anything down and get dirt out of your car. I paid for the best package they have! After expressing my concerns of plain ole dust and dirt, I said forget it. I will never go back her again. Do not waste your money.

In and out on a rainy Sunday in about 10 minutes. The interior of my mini van was a disaster. 10 minutes later it looked almost as good as new!

Did the drive thru wash. The price was good, the kids loved the ride, and the car is clean. Dont know what else I could want.

They are very professional and they do a great job cleaning your vehicle. The prices, while they have increased a bit, are well worth it. Please tip the workers because they are young and work out in those elements hot or cold.

Kudos to the gentlemen that vacuumed and wiped everything down, I thought I lost a $50 bill earlier in the day, but low and behold, 1 of these young men who was vacuuming and wiping everything down found it and returned it to me, thank you for your honesty and kindness in returning it to me..keep up the honest and amazing work in this heat and with the pandemic 💕💕

A tale of 2 visits: I took my truck in a week ago, pre-hunting season. I told the young man at check in to do the max. I received amazing service! I had read reviews, some good, some not so good. I took a chance and it was 100% positive. So good that I took my wifes car back today. What a disappointment. I told the young lady at check in the same exact as I did when I took my truck 7 days ago. The vacuum job was sub-par. They didnt armor all the inside. The outside looked good but I was disappointed with the inside. I spoke with the lady that checked me in and she said that I didnt order everything. Is it a communications breakdown or is todays crew just sub-standard to what I got last time. Im a new customer and am not sure what to do. Do I go back or not? Id like to get consistent service on each trip.

Made a quick stop, for the first time, at Autobell Car Wash on Armistead Ave in Hampton and I was presently impressed with the professional mannerisms of the employees. Ivan took great care of Black Beauty (my car) inside and out. I would most definitely recommend this car wash if you’re looking for a quick but thorough car wash that takes their time to make sure your car is clean inside and out and has friendly workers. They did an amazing job!! They were very friendly. The guy who dried and cleaned my car Herve, wow he cleaned my car better than I would I clean it myself. Took his time, really made sure my car looked good and was really clean. Went above and beyond. Took my floor mats out and cleaned those and cleaned under them. I have been to the autbell in Newport news, terrible experience there! But Hampton location they are the ones to go to for a clean car and a great experience!

Machine doesnt clean the car well. It doesnt help that the service was not good either. I simply dried the car myself as water spots were beginning to develop. Get the lowest costing wash if youhaveto go there. I dont recommend this place.

Usually pretty good service. The busier they are the faster they move and pay a little less attention to detail, but still good value.

Paid $29.99 for one of their higher end complete cleanings. Their was still a lot of dog hair on my dash, they missed a good amount of debris on the floor when vacuuming, and when they were done, they didn’t even put my floor mats in the right spots. One was just left on my back seat. Should’ve listened to all the recent reviews saying the quality dropped. Wouldn’t recommend.

For how busy they were, they paid attention to my vehicle and got me out of there relatively quickly.

I get my car washed most Sunday mornings and I’m generally well pleased with the job they do. I always get the manager’s special for $29.95.I frequently tip $5.00. Employees almost never say, “Thank you.” when they receive the tip. Is there a No Tipping policy or some other reason employees show no appreciation for this consideration?

Generally, I go once a month to autobell and get the manager special for 29.99. I hate washing my car the the service is very convenient. I maybe sat in the car line for five minutes. The manager greeted me and referred me to cashier. Cashier had a good appearance and was friendly. Walked into the building, bathrooms, hallway and waiting area was clean. Went back outside while car was being dried, the attendants had a sense of urgency despite the amount of patrons and the cold weather. My car was spotless, smelled well, and I was very satisfied. Overall, a great experience.

Moves quickly & great for a wash but if its busy your vehicle will air dry with spots before they get to you. Wheel cleaner is superb with standard fare.

Efficient staff, easy access, fast and decent value. I like to support locally owned businesses, but in this case Autobell has brought a standard that independent shops need to get competitive with. Autobell does a good job and emphasis on efficiency and environmental responsibility.

They do a good job on my car

I was provided with astounding service when I visited Autobell. They have a great staff and amazing customer service skills. My car didnt have one spot on it or in it after I left. Othello did a amazing job on my car. A lot of people today half-bake when getting a job done but I can honestly say Othello took pride in his work when servicing my car. 5/22/18- I went there today to get my car detailed. $30 for the manager special. Why not? It was really a huge waste of money and time. When I got the car back, you could easily tell that there were a ton of spots missed. The back was not vacuumed at all. I had to ask the lady working if I could use the vacuum to get the spots that were missed. The outside of the car was not cleaned well. Stuff that was on the car in the beginning was still there. It was really just a crappy job to say the least. I had to ask for fragrance as it was forgotten. As I’m typing this review, I’m in line to get the car washed again at another location. Extra money out of my pocket.This was my first time there and definitely my last time there. I’m only giving it 2 stars because the people were friendly.Save your money and go somewhere else or do it yourself.

My husband and I decided to bring our Ford Explorer here for the first time. We paid for the highest cleaning. When finished it was raining so we didn’t look over it fully. When we finally looked they didn’t vacuum our third row seats or our cargo area! When I called the number the lady told me that I needed to tell them if I wanted the cargo area! They never told us that! Then she told me I needed to bring it back up there if I wanted them to redo it which we didn’t have time to! If I could included pictures I would! Totally unacceptable service!

Goodmorning the only issue I have is each visit the associates that cleans my cars doesnt vacuum my car good.

Everything was great besides the windows. All of my windows were smeared inside and out. This has happened at both Armistead and Warwick Blvd.

Its just okay. For the price I paid, I expected the inside of my car to be wiped down but there seemed to be a lot of crumbs still. I think I could have done better at a do it yourself car wash. But the outside looked great! They shined the tires, rims, the car was dry, no stray water droplets

I have been using this Auto bell location since it was built. When it first opened they produced a fairly good and consistent service. but as time passed the Service and attention to detail has fallen even when buying the top end packages . Attention to details like wiping the vehicle down with clean rags before it drys, vacuuming under the mats, or simply wiping out the cup holders, is a thing of the past . Dont even get me started on the glass cleaning, I realize this is not a auto detailing operation, but better training for new staff and consistent quality are important especially when the consumer is judging what Level of service to expect for their money. It shouldnt be guesswork based on which employee is doing the work, or how busy the location is .

My interior of my car was wrecked from road trips with my two boys but in just 15 minutes it looked so much better!!

I was offered the manager special with all the bells and whistles, and still had to scrub downall my doors and dashboard with Chlorox wipes and do another vaccum of the floorboards. I understand there were things they werent allowed to clean, but the things that could have been done seemed to be glanced over.
