The tint work done looks great. I also had an Alarm install and I do feel that the installer should have took a little time to me show me how to use it more and how to link it to the app. I found out once I got home that there is an app that works with the system but can only be linked through the dealership. Also the prices could have been a bit more competitive. Over all my experience was pretty good.

I have came here for multiple window tints & remote starts. I always recommend this place to my friends and we all really like the work done here. They have very competitive rates, and their work is top quality.There is usually a wait to set an appointment, but they will always try their best to squeeze you in as soon as possible.I had one friend that ran into an issue with their remote start, and he mentioned he came twice until they ultimately fixed his issue. The fact that they stand behind their work means a lot and gives me even more confidence to return to this location and continue to recommend it to my peers. 10/10

The ceramic tint is great! The insulation is to me perfect! I have gone here twice and I get great service every time.The tint did not turn purple, fade or bubble on my first car done here and owned for 11 years. The tint goes right to the edge of the window.Highly recommend Solar-One, Inc..

I got my tints done on Monday 3/20/16. I chose the Phantom ceramic tint offered. It is now almost 3 weeks later and my tints are perfect. No bubbling, no peeling, and no fading. Right up to the edge of the glass. It is very difficult finding a tint place with good reviews. I didnt want to take my brand new 2017 Camry to a place that would mess it up so Im extremely happy I found a place that does great work. John does a great job and I will differently be using him again in the future. I would highly recommend taking your car here. He only takes 2 and a half hours.

Ive been dealing with John (the owner) of Solar One since the 90s, back when guys needed 3 strips to tint a car rear window John only needed 2. Fast forward to 2016 John can do a rear car window using only 1 piece! Hes a master at making after market tinted windows look like it came from a auto assembly line. Hes tinted almost all my cars from our first meeting in the 90s with my Mustang to now with my V series caddy. Solar One uses the highest quality tint no need to worry about your tint fading or turning purple/red in a year or two. Stop in and ask for the carbon tint the highest quality in tinting or you can use entry level tint both are durable and youll be happy either way.

They have done 3 cars for me know and 2 for my friends. All of them have been flawless. By far and away the best tint shop in the area. The few day wait for them to be available is for a good reason. Good price, excellent work (I mean flawless, I have never had 1 bubble) and there is ZERO edge to their tint.

I happened upon Solar-One with a google search. After reading the reviews and what I perceived as Johns honest responses to some poor reviews I thought I would give them a try. Well I am glad I did!! I am a VP for a car car product company and I have been involved with car appearance care for 30 yrs. So needless to say, I am a freak when it comes to how my vehicles look.The tint on my new truck windows came out flawless. I must say that I was highly impressed with the way my windows turned out!! The tech (John) who performed the work was very helpful and informative. I was looking to go with the 10% tint but he explained how me living in Illinois may become an issue with such dark tint. He suggested the legal limit on my front two and a shade darker on the rest. That way if an officer pulls me over and meters my window, I should still be safe because theyll likely meter the front driver/passenger window. Its like a $200 plus dollar ticket in Illinois for having too dark of a tint. He was being considerate of me and my wallet and not just trying to take my money. Thats what I call true professionalism. Not to mention he did one hellava job on my 2011 Nissan Maxima! The tint was awsome, I mean flawless. It goes right up to the edge of glass with no imperfections. The price was the best I could find in the area, even in Calumet City where I live and all of its surrounding areas. Very quick as well, he initially told me that hed call me in about 2 hrs once he was done but he actually called in a little over an hour... All said and done, I will be returning with my other vehicles and I HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone looking for a first class window tinting.

Called to get tint . The guy on the phone was arrogant. I did not like the way he talked to me or conducted business ... he treated me like I was stupid.. my friend was next to me and wanted his windows done too .. he told me he wouldnt tint my whole windshield because it was illegal to do so no matter how much I paid ... but yet stated he would tint my car limo all around witch is also illegal .. so whats the difference I dont see one but you definitely lost my business and all my friends business just for the disrespect on the phone .... I now am back to tinting windows because of your unprofessionalism .. and not offering ur customers what they want ....Lets be honest when I made this review I wasnt tinting any more hadnt been tinting for a very long time .. I was trying to get my personal car done . Cuz you carried Rayno. I dont work for a competitor buddy I am your competitor now ... you are the reason I started back tinting and doing full windshields there is no difference between limo tint all around or tint on the windshield it still illegally blocks ur vision... you do understand there is clear films that block out IR rays that is heat from the sun that heats the inside of your car up right ? So continue to be a stroke and lie my review was based on our interaction on the plhone cuz u were an asshat and very unprofessional wich I why I conduct myself with the utmost profession
