Rented and pre paid for a car 7 day in advance for friday june 11 to go on vacation. 1 hour before I was suppose to pick up the car I was called and told that they do not have a car for me and would not have one till June 14. They did not try to get me another car at a different location. So I had to scramble and find another rental car company to get a car. I called and was told that they would credit me the charged amount. 7 days go by and I did not see the credit. Called them again and the person told me Yeah Ive tried to get a hold of the main office but I cant get through He was not helpful at all.. I called the main Hertz office and was able to get right through and get the credit. I would not recommend this place at all!

I booked with dollar.com and used my AAA discount which came in super handy when I had to add a second driver at last minute and wasn’t charged thankfully! I needed a one-way rental out of a hot Covid area in NJ to Little Rock Arkansas. I got a good deal on a great SUV! It had great features and made the trip a smash. I recommend hertz and dollar.com for the booking process. Return was easy after hours and I was charged exactly what I was told on the phone.

Was quoted a specific price on a rental which seemed like a good deal so I booked a reservation and when I went in to pick up my rental, they told me there was no reservation in my name and the price went way up because it was a weekend... Ended up going to Avis and they were very nice and had way better rates. The women working at Hertz in hackettstown was very rude and not willing to honor my reservation.

Absolute worst car rental experience Ive ever encountered. Upon driving up to the car rental, parking the car, and setting out, one of the employees grabbed the keys out of my hands without even greeting me first. They then proceeding to argue with me about every little dust and speck in the car saying I would have to pay for things I say the rental car have when I first got it. Very rude and argumentative and the employee proceeded to harass my daughter who was not even a driver for the vehicle. His hands were in her face and he was hovering over her screaming about how he would need to file a conditioning form for something the manager said was not even a problem. 0/10 would not recommend!

Called about 10 times, no answer. Needed a rental while my car was in the shop so I had a friend drive me over. Place was disgusting inside. Trash and junk everywhere. Man behind the counter was rude and on his cell phone the whole time. Im not sure if he even worked there but I had to wait for woman to come out to do the paperwork. Only plus is they picked up the car from the shop. They were supposed to meet me at the shop too to give me the rental but as I said before, couldnt be reached by phone.

Good Car Rental, with nice cars. Wish they had a better selection of cars but could be because they are just starting out.

Ive always booked through 3rd party and they Never have the car I reserve nor do I get it for the price agreed to.

Had a reservation at noon on a Saturday, called the day before to confirm, they close at 1145 and no one is here. Google says they close at 2pm, false 1145.
