H&R Block made an error on my return and has been completely unresponsive regarding a follow up after my consultation to discuss it. No one will answer the phone during office hours and I cannot even leave a voicemail to try to have them call me back.

Awful. They filed our taxes but didnt submit all of the forms. We received a letter stating that forms were missing and we have been trying to reach them for weeks. Several calls and voicemails have gone unreturned by them. I cant pull the form on the H&R block portal because they suspiciously arent on there. Will not be returning to H&R block again in the future.

Charged almost 400 for just following the prompts on a screen. A mcdonalds employee can easily do this. They follow a program that doesnt let them screw up. Do yourself a favor and just go online. You wont save time since you wait for these people to enter in the information anyways. Total joke! Charged 400 and wouldnt even mail the city tax info or give you a stamp. Just go online

Me and my fiance have been filing our taxes here for 9 years. They are awesome and always get us the most money we can get back. They got us money we didnt even know we could get! Id definitely recommend going to them. Dont miss out on money owed to you by doing them yourselves! Yes they charge about a $200 fee, but if you missed money on your taxes, its most likey more than the price of the fee!

If the cost to file a basic return was less than $100 I would score a 5. The basic cost was $128 and I only have SS income and a part time job.

Needed added assistance to do taxes due to occurrences during the year, but not needed for the next and was not helpful outside of dealing with the occurence.

Ive used H&R Block for as long as I can remember and I would never think about not coming back.

I had a great experience last year and just booked my appointment for this year!

I had my taxes done in office Feb of 2018, I come to find out that a 1099 was placed on the wrong line by the IRS a number of months later. I informed the office and was treated like thats the IRSs problem because our software was correct. After going back and forth between the IRS and HR Block for a number of months, and having my anticipated return amount SIGNIFICANTLY reduced, I got my $300 back I paid them to do it but they kept the $40 for Audit Protection. I was advised by HR Block to file an amended return. I did so at another office because this office in Grove City is seasonal and was closed. I waited an additional 16 weeks and was informed that the IRS needed more information. I contacted HR block about this because I have purchased the Audit Support. I come to find out this service is only for in person audits and while the IRS conducts many mail audits, I have had no support from HR Block on this and have spent countless hours on the phone with the IRS trying to resolve this mistake.As I write this on January 30th 2019, I have yet to receive my return from 2017. I did not have a extraordinary situation (IE, investments, real estate).I get it, mistakes happen, but I am most burned about this by the lack of support provided by them when trying to resolve this.
