I have been to a lot of salons but none of them are as good as this nail salon. They make really good manicures The staff is very friendly and do an excellent job, professional and funny. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The salon was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a very nice, clean and professional / relaxing environment.

Definitely not a cheap place but my goodness what you get for the spend. These ladies take their time and do an excellent job. I got the deluxe pedicure and a gel mani. Both were done flawlessly. I will be coming back!!!!

Cindy and Tim are Awesome! Be prepared to laugh, as Tim is always telling jokes, which is a much welcomed change up compared to other nail salons I have been to all over the country. I have been going to them WHEN I am living in Connecticut since 2003 (as I was military & have lived in VA, IN, & IL since then). This location is farther than many other places for me, but they are so worth the drive! The salon is clean, they do extra steps doing your nails so they dont chip or get infected, and on top of that, they are the friendliest people.

What a horrible job was done to my nails! I went in for a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine. My hand nails are horrendous; they aren’t the same shape (round), they aren’t the same length!, the thickness of the acrylic is seriously confusing!, and the guy that did my nails obviously had no idea what he was doing. The polish job looks like my 3 year old did it. I have so many bumps and unevenness. I have one nail that looks like a round dwarf! I’m so displeased with what was done with my nails. I will NEVER go there ever again! Such a waste of money!

Highly recommend. Very clean. Personable. Enjoyable experience. Requested a special Christmas design and they came out exactly as i wanted. Reasonable prices, too. Highly recommend.

I got a full set and I didnt get the nails I wanted Anna I wanted coffins they donut look lie coffin and they cut my real nails without permission and asking me like I wasnt satisfied with my nails before I went there never had a problem.😞

Since the new management, I wont be returning. got a full set of acylic with gel polish and one feature nail, cost me $70. I have NEVER paid so much for nails, and if I do, I expect some serious quality. the acrylic is bumpy and uneven, my nails arent the same shape. the paint job is streaky and uneven, transparent in some spots. my nails started to turn brown and patchy. the gel is chipping away and cracking. Ive had them for a week. the people are nice, but sometimes kindness doesnt justify quality.*II shoul also note I had a 6pm appointment and did not get started until 645.... was there for almost 2 hours.

I have been to many places in the area, and this is by far the least professional. I have never seen a nail salon use toilet paper as toe seperators... I wish I had taken a picture but I was so suprised I didnt think of it. My nails were cut crooked at weird angles, and they rushed me out of the chair to pay before my polish dried and my toes were smudged once I got home. Once you get out of the chair there isnt anywhere to sit to let the polish finish drying. To top it off, they would not take my gift certificate because it was more than 6 months old. After informing the owner, who was sitting in a pedicure chair doing her own nails, that it was a state law that gift certificates cannot expire, she told me she would only take half. I didnt want to continue to argue so I just agreed to take it and never return.

Would give them no stars if i could. I asked a simple question and the girl snapped back with a rude response. Won’t ever go back.

I walked in last min and they took care of my pedicure when other places were ready to go home.

Once tim and cindy left the place has been awful business is definitely going down for them. I got cut with tools and the nail polish comes off so easily and takes over an hour to dry properly. They’re friendly but not professional i don’t recommend.

1st time here. I was a walk-in, decided to give a new place a try. Iwas helped immediately. There are a few people who speak English very well making the nail exsperience a lot easier and better. I got SMS (powder nails) and gel polish on my toes. They offer an amazing variety of nail color here. Both my toes and fingers came out nice. I will be returning.

Moving from VA a couple of months ago I had a nail salon I loved dearly (Nails by Lisa in Williamsburg VA) the talent, the large variety of options, and the atmosphere maintained a above average salon experience for many.Upon moving to Groton I knew how I felt in that nail salon may be hard, or impossible to find.L.A. nails has that potential! I’ve been many times now, and my first time was actually not a great experice.My gel came off to quick, somethings were a bit uneven, nothing out of the typical disappointments I expect.But while I sat in the chair getting my first pedicure, I heard Kristen (most experienced nail tech there, she LOVES what she does) explaining something to one of her clients on how she cares about the acrylic shaping matching the nailbed.This began the game changer of L.A. nails for me. I went back, requested Kristen, and told her about the common troubles I have with gel peeling at the cuticle within a few days.With a quick explanation and change in technique from Kristen I haven’t had that problem again!Now every time I go I see Kristen and I’m always amazed at the result.The shop as a whole? Needs some work, but I think if the new new new (lots of new owners) owners strive to be able to deliver the quality and engagement Kristen provides across all nail techs, there would be no doubt this place would be back to completely booked up!I’ll be continuing to go here as long as I am in CT, and personally excited to see how L.A. nails grows!TLDR: Kristen is awesome, best nail tech, shop is on the upswing of becoming an amazing nailsalon with some amazing talent. Just follow your mvp, Kristen.

I came in for a fill and the girl that did them for me (glasses and very skinny) was awful, all of my nails are bumpy and the acrylic is so thick. one of my nails fell off so i needed it fixed and it is not even the correct shape, not sure if she knew what she was doing but i don’t think i will do back because of this experience. i’m about to go to a different nail place and get them fixed

I love Kristen shes the BEST

This establishment is clean and some of the employees are somewhat friendly, if youre a regular. I am NOT impressed with the way my pedicure came out. It felt rushed and mind you, it was NOT a busy day at ALL!!! I did not like the way the nail polish bubbled and all in all it was a sloppy job! I expressed my dislike and the employee was going to try to fix it by trying to another application of nail polish which would have made it even worse. If I didnt have a period engagement, I would have stayed and let them fix it, but I couldnt. No discount was offered nor taken off. Bad business if you ask me.

Worst experience I have ever had!!! I went with a friend and there nail tech took 15 -20 longer on her because he massaged her feet and legs which I was told they dont do but the women who was doing mine I had to ask her to put lotion on my legs never put lotion on my feet and when I asked her about she argued with me I will never go back there on top of it my feet still have alot of dead skin that I will fix at home and the nail job is messy she was to rough and my feet burn horrible experience I miss the old owners

Had an appt set, waited an hour after my appt. on top of it the man told me to pick colors I wanted. As soon as he made time for me he said he didnt have those exact colors I wanted and picked colors that werent even close to what I wanted. He was so rough with the tools he made my skin bleed. I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted done and He wasnt anywhere close to it & didnt even do the design instead was rude to my sister and me screaming saying I said I didnt want the design when I did. Will not be going back!

I got the ANC dip powder and had a couple nails that were broken so they needed tips I am very upset with my nails because the person who put the tips on did not file them flush to my natural nail so now there is a bump where the tip was applied.

We had reservations for three during evening hours. They were able to take us early. We were taught the differences between the regular manicure and the gel based manicure to assist in our decision making. Throughout our stay, we were treated with politeness and positive conversation.
