What an awful experience! I have never been treated so rudely by the staff at this nail salon and was literally told to be quiet and stop asking questions. There is definitely a huge language barrier which makes communicating what you want very hard. The experience for myself and six of my friends was absolutely awful! Do no recommend!

Nice relaxing little spa. Its hit or miss depending on WHO you get to do your services. Walk-ins are welcome but they book quickly so its best to call ahead. If you walk in and she asks if you have an appointment just know, theyre too busy to take you. So busy that shes probably with a client and you wont know who she is because she has a mask on and you cant see her face/mouth when she speaks. Just call in and make an appointment. They are also not currently not using pafrifian wax due to covid.

I got a manicure here left there bleeding on 7 of my ten fingers. I was butchered by Amy who seemed rushed and distracted. Still healing from the deep cuts to my cuticles.

My first time here was today and this is by far one of the best pedicure I’ve gotten. I recommend tony, he took his time and the whole experience was efficient and felt amazing. This will be by new favorite spot!

This salon is clean and efficient. You need to specify exactly what service youd like as technicians are timed on the services they provide and they dont let you alter your selection. For example: had appoints for pedicures but didnt know what pedicures they offered, when we arrived at the appointment we asked for a detox pedicure and they informed us that we didnt book that. So, be sure to check out the services before booking. Otherwise, the service was good.

No matter when I go there I am treated like a Queen. they are so professional and personal that you would love to go the them all the time as I do. Amy and Joe and family are the nicest, sweetest people in a business that can get crazy at times. They are calm and answer all questions that you may have. They have been in this business a very long time

I have been going to this place for years. Great colors and friendly staff. Now they have Covid19 precautions in place. They take your temp and have you sign in before sitting down spaced between chairs. It was not busy so I felt safe and all the people working there have masks, gloves, and full gowns. Plexiglass on all the manicure stations and hand drying station. No back massage while your nails dry like before but I can wait till things get back to normal.

I am visiting the area and luckily when I searched nail salons near me cedar spa was listed. I checked the reviews and they did not disappoint. Will was my manicurist and he did a great job and took a lot of care. The staff was very friendly, and the place is clean and inviting. They do the usual hand and arm massage with lotion, however they go the extra mile and they do a paraffin wax dip and in the middle of the manicure, they give you a back massage. This was a great surprise and was just wonderful. The price was very reasonable. I will come back every time I visit Connecticut. If I lived in Connecticut, this would be my regular place.

Very friendly staff! I came in last night for a dip manicure, Jay did an amazing job. I came in again today for a lavender pedicure, Andy did a great job, and once again I’m leaving feeling refreshed and happy! Overall the best nail salon I have been to. The prices are very reasonable, and each service includes a massage. The salon and tools are super clean, and all of the tools are coming from sterile sealed bags for each client. 10/10 would recommend.

Has gone down hill with service and technicians. Used to have amazing service, last few times Ive gone service not up to par. Felt rushed.

It’s a great place. I think it’s a little pricey, but the staff is super friendly and the place is super clean. Lisa did my pedicure and she was super nice. Casey did my manicure and she was quiet, but friendly. Great location. Always busy, so appointments are a must. If you do walk-in and tell you there’s a wait there’s plenty of stores in the same plaza to bide time in.

Made appointment and when I got there they had me sit, them grabbed the guy brought him to someone else then had him go back to me and then had him working on 2 of us. Not even and explanation, and when I said very nicely I would come back because they had 1 person working on 2 people, the owner just seemed to not understand, no explanation, no apology 😞I WAS RIGHT ON TIME....nice try responding like that below...and if someone had said sorry i would have been fine with that. This reply just made me even more mad. Just own up to that fact that you were too busy. And next time just explain to the customer what is happening, that is really all I wanted.

They do a good job on your customers and they have good customer service

Went yesterday with my husband for a relaxing afternoon and got two Relaxing Pedicures, totally worth paying the extra money from the basic. BEST pedicure we have had in our life!! Highly recommend ! 💕💕

This place is one of the busiest nail salons in town. And for good reason, they work fast and efficiently, but still provide great service. Be sure to make an appointment, earlier the better. They have people pouring in around lunch time and it’s always “15” minutes but really it’s up to 30+ wait with an appointment.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for awhile now. They are definitely the best one in the area! They have many different spa pedicures available and a great selection of SNS powder colors. It’s usually busy but the staff works quickly and efficiently to get to you in a timely manner.

Casey rushed my nails. I made an appointment so it wasn’t that they were busy. She just didn’t care. I wanted almond shaped and she didn’t even shape them. She just cut them and when I said something she started to get mad. She rushed with the hand wax and proceeded to take it off prior to it drying. She then put the hot towel on, squeezed once, then wiped her table. I’ll NEVER go there again. She does not know how to do nails nor take care of customers.

They did a good job for me and my daughter today! I had powder and my daughter had gel. We both received a great neck massage and hand massage. I totally recommend it!

Best nail salon I have been to. Super happy with everything. They do a wax dip on your feet and hands and give amazing massages. My nails look great and they are really nice.

It was nice and clean. Staff was very pleasant. Plus, they did a great job and paid special attention to my 5 yr old while she got her Mani/Pedi. Prices were good, too!

I really don’t understand why they are so expensive! The charged me extra for making my nails round! Calling it a special shape! And they aren’t even perfectly round and there are parts of my nail that aren’t smoothen out. And it took so long. Massage was terrible, felt like I was being rubbed down with rocks. Definitely not relaxing. I don’t recommend going there. I have a 2 star because the pedicure was ok.

Ive been coming here for years and am always impressed with their customer service. They always go above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect, they massage your shoulders while your nails dry and staff are always friendly and polite. They dont do acrylic nails, which is nice because you dont have to worry about the chemical smell. Theyre very busy and have recently moved to a bigger salon, but Id still recommend making an appointment.

I was did dipping powder manicures and basic pedicure in Cedar. They doing so great on my nails, they did not rush even they are so busy. I love my nails so much. I have one nails was so bad before for doing the UVgel, but they help me to fix, then put powder on. I decided to quit UV gel to do the dipping powder, because they doing very well on that. I was so appreciate that. Not even the colors, the sweet services they offered was so awesome. In addition, the back massage they doing so great, and leg massage too. I will definitely come back. I was attend once at Mermaid, but I dont like. I think I found my new favorite place to go.

Rude front end staff. My service was done by Casey and she did a great job. I was told five minute wait and it was twenty five minutes. If I was not dropped off by my husband and I had a car, I would have left. The front staff was curt to others as well as myself.

Yesterday was my 6th visit, the first 3 times everything was good, the next visit my powder manicure broke after 5 days, I came back and I pay $ 5 to have fixed,( no too much ) but I believe after paying $37.50 plus tip they should fix it for free. Yesterday my apt was 5:30, one of the ladies applied the acetone and leave me there for over 20 minutes, My fingers stared feeling burnt and itchy, so I decided to remove it by myself, after in the middle of my manicure, another costumer walks in ( no apt ) to have her eyebrows done and the lady who was doing my manicure, asked me to wait until she take care the other customer ( poor service) at the end I was charged 42.50 plus, I asked why, if I always pay $37.50 and she said that the prices went up, but I was never informed when I booked the apt or when I got there ( they should, since I was there 3 weeks ago) 42.50 plus the tip is way too much . Me and My cousins will look for other options.

Best pedicure in a long time! For $30 I was amazed that included a parafan wax dip on my feet, warm lotion massage, hot towels, leg, feet and neck massage. Wow! The male tech I had was extreamly gentle and Im very sensitive. They have a stamp card too. I will be back 🙂

Ive been to three area spas for pedicures and this one is by far the best. Their prices are $5 or so more than others, but they include a paraffin dip (heaven) and a shoulder/neck massage while drying your nails. The staff is wonderful, paying attention to every detail. While under the dryer for my pedicure my technician didnt like something on my polish, so she knelt down on the floor and removed the polish from the offending toe and did it again. Amazing quality and terrific staff.

I scheduled an appointment, but had to cancel. I havnt even been in there yet and they’re already friendlier, and better priced than the other salon I used to go to. I can’t wait to reschedule! They were so nice!! ❤️

Great service! Offer you a cup of water the second you walk in. I got my nails done on a Wednesday and I got the shellac gel manicure, it is now Sunday (4 days after) and 2 of my nails, the polish has peeled.

Typically love the way they did my nails but this time it was not good. I got a mani pedi and everything that happened was great. This was until my manicure smudged a little bit while drying and was carelessly and sloppily touched up. The owner only covered the bit that smudged leaving it obviously raised from the rest of the nail. Not only did i have this issue, 2 days after i got them done, 3 nails chipped. It has now been around 7 days and they look horrible and awfully chipped. The pedicure is still fully intact but honestly disappointing that the owner herself could not fix and easy issue and the manicure didn’t even last 2 days.

Samantha and Jenny were great. A gel pedicure is $45 (which is pretty standard price).To my surprise, the pedi included an extensive leg massage, foot massage, paraffin dip, hot towel wrap, and shoulder massage! Even though the salon was busy, I didnt feel like Samantha or Jenny rushed at all. They both took their time and made sure we were happy with the final results. I feel very pampered!

Theyre amazing and always so nice! I wont go anywhere else. They go above and beyond what is expected.

They offer a free massage with your manicure and treat your hands with a peely dip (I dont know the name of it) and after doing a scrub. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because they dont offer acrylic nails or UV Gel. They do powder gel manicures (they file your natural nail down so thin...) and a regular manicure. Id much prefer a UV Gel because it lasts much longer and is stronger but their atmosphere and massages are a huge plus! Id really like to see them to open up their services to include gel nail mainicures too. Because they filed my nails thin the couple times I got the powder manicure, Im going back to my old nail salon because my natural nails feel awful now from how thin theyre sanded/filed!

This place has the most amazing customer service AND they always do a fantastic job! Get a mani pedi, you wont regret it. They massage your shoulders while your nails dry and its honestly the best massage Ive ever gotten. Just make sure to be early for your appointment when you go, as they are always booked solid.

They ALWAYS do an excellent job. I always make an appointment because they are so popular, but thats not an issue. They have a sanitary spa, and always massage. One of my favorite things is that they are very sweet to every customer. The management knows how to run a nail salon. If I cant go here, I dont go anywhere. Im spoiled by this salon!

This was an absolutely awful waxing experience and if I could rate it in the negative I would!Allison didnt listen and waxed my eyebrows straight across instead of listening to me when I said I wanted an arch. She then proceeded to tell me after it was done that I didnt have enough hair for an arch! I told her had she listened to me to begin with I would have.Furthermore, she didnt bother to press on the skin after pulling the hair (to ease the sting) or use lotion afterwards. That was the worst experience Ive had in a long time.

My first visit, I was very impressed

I wouldnt have even given 1 star but I had to in order to leave a comment.I went in with arcylic on my nails and asked for them to take it off and just do gel.Each of my nails grew over the last year to be 3/4 to an inch long. Well long story short when I walked out I have no nails now. I have always had acrylic and was Looking forward to my first gel experience. Well here it is horrible I am so disappointed. And they knew they screwed up cuz they didnt charge me. I walked out mid file. The woman who did my nails is name Kasey. If removing the arcylic and adding gel was not something they were comfortable with they should have declined. Instead the insisted.Im beyond pist off.My nails currently have had no further action like she didnt file to make them even nothing just chopped them all off after she broke 3 doing to the end of my finger and my pinky name she cut half way down the nail bed.I just cant even believe I went thru this tonight.never will I ever go here again. Im so disappointed. Wowwww!

I had a horrific experience! I got an infection in my finger after a manicure because they didn’t sterilize their equipment. I had to go to the doctor and take antibiotics for 10 days. Going to Cedar Nail Spa costed me a total of $190 because of my doctor visit.
