A first time customer here and Doug was professional yet relatable. He was very helpful throughout the process by answering any questions we had, and making sure we didnt miss anything. Although, I did end up owing, Im happy that I came to Jackson Hewitt and Im confident that our taxes were prepared correctly.

Mr. Kim is very friendly and courteous and he did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Getting taxes done not the most fun but I enjoyed the time there and it went by quickly.

The gentleman that did my returns, Sungshik Kim, was great. He was punctual and courteous and, had a sense of humor. Ive never filed taxes before and was very unprepared but he just rolled with it and made me feel very comfortable.I had a previous experience with Jackson Hewitt (the kiosk at Wood Village Walmart) that was HORRIBLE; my daughter and I waited 45 minutes PAST my appointment time and were never even acknowledged by the woman while she was working with 2 other people. Later she called to ask where I was at my appointment time. When i told her only that I had waited 45 minutes after my appointment she stated, Oh, well I didnt see you sitting behind me. Which was an interesting thing for her to say considering I never told her we had eventually sat down behind her. But Mr. Kim more than made up for that.If you need help with your taxes, I highly recommend going to this office.

This year was a great experience doing my taxes with Mick with Jackson Hewitt. He was fast and efficient and a great personality!!

I took our paperwork in the Friday before our appointment. Our appointment was at 4:00 on Friday the 14th. We were told we owed the Federal $4500. We were shocked because we have been getting a refund from them for years and questioned why we suddenly owed money. We were told there wasn’t enough tax withheld. We questioned what had changed from last year and the tax preparer had no idea. We started going through the items and I discovered he was only deducting our out of pocket medical insurance for one month when I had explained when I left our paperwork we paid that amount every month for the year. After he made corrections he said it didn’t change anything and we were getting $4500 back. We spent over an hour because he said we owed rather than we were getting a refund. I can’t tell you how many times I stated I couldn’t understand why we owed money and I kept getting the same response that he didn’t know. He kept freezing up the computer and got so bad he actually had two different computers locked. We had to wait while he got on the phone to tech support. It was after 8:00 before we got out of there. My husband is disabled and that experience really took a toll on me.

I took my 19 yesterday old son to file his taxes n halfway thru appointment he called requesting that I get him as the preparer has numerous phone calls, people walking into his office while his license n social security card were out. No receptionist, unprofessional and no hint of an apology for the chaotic mess they are calling an office.Very disappointed 😞

This Guy Sungshik Kim is so Awesome and Patient for helping me out with My Unique Tax Situation.I work for Fred Meyer and do Driving deliveries for Door Dash and Grubhub on the side for extra Income. That means that I need my W2 from Fred Meyer and my 1099s from Door Dash and Grubhub put into the system for Taxes among other Things.My W-2 was the easiest part. But Door Dash and Grubhub decided to make things Difficult. They decided to email their Delivery Contractors the 1099 instead of Sending it through Traditional Mail. So Im like Fine, lets do it. Then I tried to pull it up through my Phone and My Phone wasnt working correctly, the email link wasnt compatible to my Phone for some reason. It was so Frustrating to go through this. It seems that for 2021 thats how these platforms want to do it. But my Phone was accessing it. Mr. Kim was so Patient with Me. It took us 2 Full days to figure out my issues. Honestly, I think that he worked harder than he shouldve, my situation was Ridiculous to say the least.I Appreciate Mr. Kim for all that he has done for Me, Im actually writing this review on His work as his finishing up the last details of my Taxes. Concerning Mr. Kim, Also known as Mik (Sungshik Kim)....Mr. Kim finally finished up my taxes today for the Third different day coming into see him, After him dealing with me and my tax issues that seemed Impossible to complete. Today we finished up the final touches of my taxes and are finally done with it concerning my taxes from the 2020 Tax Year. I even received a small Tax Federal refund, Shockingly. Like I said before on my previous Post made a few days ago, Mr. Kim is Awesome.I told him Today that, No matter where I live in the Portland Metro area, I will drive over to see him again to do my taxes Next Year. (Im saying this because I live in Beaverton and I had to drive to Gresham to have him to do my taxes) So Yes, its worth it to make the drive for me.

Poor communication. Dont honor their appointments over walk ins. I called as requested. Waste of time being on hold waiting for a rep. Then the lady wouldnt help me unless I had the last name of who emailed me. I asked her to leave a message I attempted to contact them. She said she would but didnt even ask for my name.

Extremely unprofessional service took them 4 weeks to finish my addendum. Not to mention over 5 visits to get my paperwork back. They never returned my calls, It took a letter from the IRS to me about the error preformed to get result. Best lesson... keep copies of all your paperwork it appeared some of my forms were missing on one visit, they lost some of my forms. And corp idea of compensation was a discount on next years taxes.
