Good people, very friendly...I found my new barber

Hands down the best barber experience Ive ever had! Juan is my barber and he always takes excellent care of me every time I come in. Its so easy to make appointments, and they always run on time. The best part is the atmosphere. Everyone there treats you like family. Dino is running a top of the line operation. 10 out of 10!

I guess I feel like woman are not treated with the same respect at this barbershop than the men are. I waited with my friend (woman) for 2 hours as a walk-in after calling this establishment and them telling us we could come in as a walk-in. They took all there appointments and one guy that had an appointment brought his friend which did not have an appointment and whispered to one of the barbers to fit him in and he did. We and other guy that had waited almost 2 hours as well just got looked over. I don’t care how good you cut hair if your customer service is bad you will lose business

The haircuts looked great. I called ahead and asked if they could get me in and the guy told me that he would get me next. I arrived 10 minutes later. When I walked in there were alot of people and nobody greeted me. I wasnt sure which one I spoke to or who all were barbers necessarily. The haircuts leaving were good but after sitting for 20 or 30 minutes not even knowing if I signed in correctly I just went to a salon a couple minutes away. The haircut there wasnt as good as I would have gotten here but signing in was easy and I felt more confident that I wasnt waiting around for nothing. Apart from this the haircuts looked professional and stylish for men, and there was music and sports playing so the atmosphere was mostly what you would hope for in a barbershop.

Best haircuts of my life have been gotten here. I always receive lots of compliments on cuts. Special shout out to MARIN ....He is a wonderful barber! I drive an hour for my homeTo get cuts here!

I can understand some of the negative reviews on here. I called to book an appointment for a haircut and beard trim because I read the reviews on the wait times, but was told to call back at 1:00 because a barber would be in at that time that may be able to do it. When I called back at 1:05, a different person answered and told me I would need to make an appointment because they don’t do same day appointments. I tried to explain my earlier conversation but he just repeated himself again. I asked if he knew who I spoke with earlier and he said he didn’t. I did not make an appointment because between the other reviews and my experience just trying to get an appointment, I didn’t get a good feeling.

This is a very spacious location with several barber stands and seats for waiting clients. It is still developing. It would be nice to have a friendly staff. Everyone likes to run with the tough guy face. A smile goes a long way.

They make tips but the majority of them don’t tip at other establishments? Wack.

Ive gone here numerous times. If you want a quick cut, this is not the best place to go for you, but if you actually want a good haircut and have guys pay attention to all the details of the haircut, then this place is for you. I dont want a crappy haircut done in 12 minutes, so Im willing to wait while Im there and have them take their time. They cut really well.

I walked in trying to just get a simple fade and ended up barely recognizing myself when I walked out. My barber today was Brian, and he did a phenomenal job. With the attention to detail and a clean razor finish I walked out the shop with a little more swagger than usual because of how fresh the cut was! These guys are definitely some of the best in the upstate. Kudos to Brian for getting me fresh af.

Dino and Steven are the best in South Carolina hands down! The haircuts they give you are life changing, no joke. I know people who drive an hour just to get their hair cut here! Not to mention the prices are lower than any other local barber shops. I highly recommend this barber shop, you wont be disappointed!

Let me start by saying that all the barbers in Famous Barbershop are very nice but omggggg Gordo!! His name is Abraham, this guy is outstandingly awesome, he has been taking care of all my family and friends extremely well for years, hes friendly, pays attention to details, not expensive at all, I mean it, the very best in SC! Recommended to the world!

Great haircut, great atmosphere and open late. Call ahead because its no secret how good these guys are. 4 barbers and one stylist. Plenty of room if you want to wait. Razor finish and good value for the money.

Hair cuts are great! The only thing I think could use some attention is the amount of time you have to wait. They could be a little faster at cutting and getting to the next cut. They want it to be right though so hard to blame them. Otherwise its great place to get a cut. Only place Ive gone to for over a year.

I came here and they only had two people before me but they had three barbers working. An hour later another person came in here and still I’m sitting here while they’re avoiding me. Spent a total of two hours sitting down in a chair and watching them good off on their phone.

Booked my appointment on the books app with Juan the barber . Waited bout 5 min and an hour later me and my son had fresh cuts . Highly recommend.

I just sat there for 2 hours when they told me it would be about 20-30 minutes. I get people have appointments but there friends would come in and instantly get to go in front. Id never recommend anyone go there unless u homeless and need a place to stay for half the day

A friend of mine told me about this place so I decided to give it a shot.. Ive been growing my hair for about 3 months but decided to only trim the sides...I was kind of nervous because I take it serious when it comes to find a good barber. I told the guy I wanted to leave the top long as it is. And to only trim the sides with a Fade (using no.1on the edges and going up to no.5 as the highest) he started trimming it and ended up cutting the back and the sides using the no.1 with no fade at ALL... he also cut a majority of the hair Ive been growing on top.Thankfully the hair will grow up back with time but to be honest I walked out very disappointed... I tipped the guy $5 dont know if it was an insult for him hopefully it was alright.a quick comment: it would be nice if you ask the client if its their first time there and if it is to make sure they get what they want. Thanks guys
