Love this barbershop, it’s quick, cheap, and the cuts are great. Crystal is my favorite barber there, however the other two guys are always personable and have plenty of clients themselves. The inside of building is very neat with old memorabilia of Greenwood and Barbers.Definitely recommend

My wife and I were looking for a place to take my son to get his first haircut and wanted to find a good old school reputable barber shop to take him to for it. We ended up going to Toms after looking around for a few days and I was absolutely impressed. They did a fantastic job with our son as he screamed the entire time and tried to run away. Im not sure how Crystal managed to do it but he ended up with a GREAT haircut! He also got a t-shirt and certificate as a memory keepsake which I think is awesome.While we were there I ended up deciding to give them a go with trimming my beard. Having had quite a few bad experiences in other places around the area I was hesitant but I decided to give it a go. Jeff did a fantastic job at trimming and shaping my beard. Im very happy that I have found a place that my son and I can go to for the foreseeable future and enjoy the old time tradition of getting our hair cuts together. Thank you Crystal and Jeff for such an excellent experience.

Great communication, always happy with my visit

After trying to find a new regular place to get my haircut, I finally found it. After reading the reviews and checking out the website I decided to walk in and give it a shot. The atmosphere is perfect, right down to the old Coke machine. Casey gave me a perfect haircut and beard trim/shape and was fun to just chat with. Ive officially found my new place and will absolutely be coming back! You should definitely check out Toms

Casey is amazing! She is the only one I let cut my boys hair. With a profession that’s predominantly men, she is at the top of her game. Love to see a female barber that is excellent at what she does. I highly recommend her. You won’t be disappointed!

Toms is a pretty cool old school barber shop. I had my 2 and 4 year old boys with me and they invited them to sit in an empty barber chair next to me and turned on pawn patrol. Good people. My new barber for sure 💈

By far the worst haircut I have ever got. I would expect more from great clips. The older gentleman cut my hair, and cut a large bald spot on the side of my head and tried to tell me it was already there (it was not), cut another smaller bald spot in the back, and cut the hair on the very back where the hairline ends at the neck completely unevenly. I only went here because my regular guy couldnt get me in and I needed a haircut urgently, but I immediately regretted doing so and had to book an emergency appointment to fix it. Save yourself the trouble and just dont come here.

Great conversation, even better haircut. It’s very rare to find a barber who is so attuned to their client and is willing to fine tune a cut. Toms Barbershop is the best in the south-side area!

Even though I was seated as soon as I walked in this barber shop is most definitely fitting to an old fashioned style. I got my hair cut and there were 3 spots on my head that I had to correct myself once I got home. The style was of the shop is good but it’s just not for a younger, more modern style of haircuts. I asked for a bald fade and was left with a 2 on my neck. Just wasn’t as good as I expected.

My barber Jeff Keaton always makes sure you get the cut you want. If you are looking for a great hair cut go see Jeff. My wife goes there and has Crystal cut her hair, says its the best cut shes gotten in a long time.

Went on a Monday. Went in, was sat, gentleman trimmed me up and I was on my way. Hair looks good and the price cant be beat.

Recently moved into the area and was looking for a new local barber. This place was awesome. Walked in and left 25 minutes later with a great haircut. Highly recommend.

Not only was this the best hair cut Ive had, but the old school Barber Shop atmosphere and the personal service and conversation makes this place unbeatable. Ive been there about 4 times now and had 4 different barbers cut my hair and havent had a single issue. Really friendly and the price is very reasonable compared to other places that want to charge $20+ for a basic haircut.

Very small but very good prices and very helpful.

Took my two little boys ages two and five. Best haircuts theyve ever had. Very precise and they really took their time. Put jell in their hair. Out them at ease by turning on cartoons and giving them suckers afterwards. I will be back and will tell others about this business. You cant beat an old fashioned barber shop hair cut!

The holidays can really be hectic.the closest to home was closed today but This group understands the locals.REAL BARBERSHOP, Open and the atmosphere was awesome!So was my barber, Jeff! I love a straight razor!Im hooked!

Drive 30 miles to get my haircut done.

Shared a picture of what I wanted with added details of not wanting the fade as tight. When the barber didn’t follow my request, I expressed I was upset that he went too short. He then ripped the apron off my neck and took me outside to say I was acting like a child and throwing a hissy-fit. The ONLY positive was the other barber, Laura, was able to fix it a bit.I will never be going back to Tom’s Barbershop.

Excellent traditional barber shop. If you are looking for big screen televisions, sports shows, and/or having your ego fluffed, you will be in the wrong spot. But if you want a good haircut, you can not do better.

Absolutely the worst haircut ive ever had. The oldker guy cut my hair. I brought pictures of what i want (bald on the sides fade). He didnt blend anything in. After asking him to correct it and pointing out what was wrong he just made it worse. Will never go back
