Overall, disappointed with our experience.We signed a exclusivity letter with Amy, which was fine because she was great. When Amy left, it reverted to Perry & Co and we got a backup. Essentially, she left right when we were going under contract to build. Amy was helpful and even before we went under contract, was actively looking for homes within our specifications and enthusiastically involved.Perry & Co didnt have to do much except to get paid from Richmond American Homes. Again, we found the new build and went under contract. Because of the exclusivity, all they had to do was get paid.They did not want to review documents or contracts. I dont know what I am looking at. I do not do this for a living. While I understand its my job to advocate for myself, your job is to find issues or discrepancies, bring it to my attention and then make a recommendation.We had issues with warranty with the builders in which I CCed Perry & Co. They offered no assistance in making sure things brought up during the walk-through were taken care of.Being a new build, we were also recently re--assessed. I asked for comparable homes and assistance writing the response to the assessor. She would not call me back or reply to my emails. I finally was able to get the information I needed after pushing and pushing. It was poor information and offered no coaching on how to write the response. The response from the assessor - sorry, its not changing and no concessions.My suggestion is DO NOT to sign an exclusivity agreement with them. In my opinion, it made them unmotivated. Make then do their work and if the do a bad job, they dont get paid. This is how sales should work.I just cant recommend them.
